Ive been going to Paul's for a cpl yrs now. My grandfather went here for years. And my pa has been goin there for years. Lemme tell ya of an incident last december where he potentially saved my life and my car. I was hit in downtown fort myers dec 16th by a dumb@$$ drunk girl and she wrecked my prius. I thought for sure it was totaled. The entire front left drivers wheel was boned and it was sitting at almost a 45° in towards the car.... The car was not drivable and would only move in Neutral being pushed from behind. Paul and my insurance worked hand in hand to get my vehicle squared away. A certain parts place in the area supplied Paul with a bearing for the bad wheel which had to be changed by paul ***3 times*** because it was defective out of the box. And it was the worst god awful grinding noise ever. The 3rd and final time, Paul kept my car overnight and stuck a toyota bearing in it. It was the wheel that got hit. I wasnt charged anything extra outside what was originally paid by me and Paul was a professional about it from start to finish. If you ever have work that needs to be done to your car, "don't take a fall, simply call Paul."

Sorry Mr Poppell, This review is long overdue! This is a family business and simply the best! Mr poppell and his crew worked on my truck to remove a large dent in my bumper. When others were quoting me on replacing the whole bumper, Mr Poppell was able to remove the dent with such precision and paint it's flawless! He even gave me a ride to and from my home to pick up my truck! When he learned I was going to walk to the bus stop! Awesome people! I can't recommend him and his business enough! A true master of his trade!

Paul Poppell's Auto Body shop is the real deal. I dealt directly with Paul the owner who has 40 years in auto body industry. I felt like I was part of the family with his above reproach customer service. I had to have the hood replaced on my BMW and his estimate was extremely fair and right on point. He and his staff did quality work in the time promised, and all my questions were answered professionally without a bunch of jargon. My 2009 Miata had been side swiped by a golf cart in a parking lot and the passenger mirror had been disconnected and needed replacing. Unfortunately this required the entire door and front bumper to be removed. I had researched and visited some other places and was not impressed so when I visited Paul I was not expecting what I found. He was personable, and listened to my concerns, the establishment was organized and clean. He kept me informed on progress to the finish. He even stayed on a Saturday when the shop was closed so he could deliver my car by the time he had promised. I am very pleased with the work Pauls shop did and would recommend Paul for your cars needs. He knows his cars! Thank you Paul.

If I could give more than 5 stars then I would! Paul's shop was highly recommended to me and for a good reason. I've never dealt with any type of car accident but two days before Christmas my neighbor hit my car in the parking lot while I was in my apartment. It added more stress to an already stressful time for me. After dealing with the insurance companies and trying to do everything I was supposed to do, I called Paul Poppell's Auto Body and he took care of me and my car right away.
