Stopped by to purchase a new battery for my tractor, and asked the clerk to check my car battery (6/17/25). Mike gladly went out to check my battery, and he found one of the connections badly corroded . He cleaned the corroded terminal with special cleaner(which I purchased). He also checked the battery which was fine. I had just recently had my auto at the dealership (Sam Galloway Ford) for a "The Works" oil/filter tire rotation, check battery, etc. Obviously they did not check my battery. So, Thanks Mike for finding the battery problem. That's why I do business with batteriesPlus !

Batteries Plus Pine Island Rd.12-6-24 This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had buying a Motorcycle Battery. I hadn’t ridden my Motorcycle in 3 months but the last time I rode it everything was fine with the bike. When I went to start it a couple days ago, the lights and radio worked, but the starter just clicked. This has happened before, and I knew it needed a new battery as it was way over 6 years old. I checked around and decided to buy a new Battery from Battery’s Plus. I stopped down and they sold me a new battery for 161 dollars with a 12 Month replacement warranty. Once home I started to open the box and I heard a rattle coming from inside the box. As I opened the box all the hardware as in bolts and nuts were out of the bag floating around inside the box. The hardware bag was not broken and as I took count of the hardware one nut was missing. This nut is a special size, so I made one in my shop to fit. I Installed the Battery and turned the bike ignition switch on and low and behold no lights, no radio. I immediately checked the Battery connections and Battery voltage. It was less than 3 volts. I uninstalled the Battery put it back in the box and stopped back at Battery’s Plus with my receipt. I told them what happened, and they checked the voltage with their meter and came up with the same reading. I said I wanted to exchange the bad with another good battery. They said NO WAY. I asked why not and what about the 12-month warranty? They stated your battery is under 10 volts so and we don’t know what you did with it so NO EXCHANGE AND NO MONEY BACK, STORE POLICY. I asked to speak a manager they said no manager was there. I said so I paid 161 dollars for nothing does that seem fair. They said that’s the way it is. I called my credit card company, and they credited me back the 161 and they will dispute the charges. I WILL NEVER BY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. If I could give them less than minus 1 star I would ⭐ Follow me for more reviews. Gulf Coast Terry

Brought a battery back to the Branch 1 Day after the warrantee expired. Had to have help to remove the battery from my boat. It's a big battery. Was able to bring it back to the Cape Coral Branch on 6/24/2025, one day after the warrantee expired. The battery was tested and deemed bad, so I had to purchase a new one. The Branch gave me a corporate number to call, which I did, and corporate told me that warrantee adjustments are up to the branch, so he could have helped with the warrantee but, instead he just gave me the corporate phone number to call just to get rid of me. At the same time they had advertised an 18% discount "hotsummerdeal18" for which the only gave me 10% off of the new replacement battery. Corporate told me the 18% wasn't honored because they have a maximum of $30 on discounts. What a terrible merchant that Batteries Plus turned out to be.

4 months after purchasing an auto battery, my vehicle began starting very weakly today. Battery output at 11.8V and won’t charge past 50% Charging system is ok, throwing no codes, all cables are tight….No worries, it’s covered under a warranty, right? Take it to the store and get the warranty honored, right? Wrong. They won’t determine a battery has failed unless they can test it with an 80% charge (which it won’t take), and/or want a “48 hour period to evaluate the battery” while in their possession before determining if it’s covered under warranty, per their corporate policy. They won’t give you a loaner while the “evaluation” period is underway, so basically they expect you to rent a car or be without your vehicle for 2 days just to decide whether or not they’re going to honor the warranty on their overpriced batteries. My fault for not reading the fine print, but buyers beware…just go to autozone or Walmart where they will honor a warranty on the spot.

My online purchase and phone conversations with Mark and Ryan were great. Then the day of my appointment to get my car battery came. I arrived at my appointment time 10am, only to find the stores door locked and no one there. I called the store, no answer. I called corporate, they couldn’t reach anyone. Now I need a battery before it dies and doesn’t start my car. I asked corporate for a refund, they can’t 🤦🏻♀️. They were no help at all! So I go down the street to Auto Zone, get my battery replaced. They were on point and felt bad for what happened and gave me a little discount. Very nice of them! Still trying to get refunded from Battery Plus. Some technical difficulties. Amazing with the technology we have today, that it’s so difficult to process a refund or cancel the order.

Honesty is best policy..took my truck to have a battery replaced as my service manager indicated my current battery was no good. Price at dealer was way too much. Went to have a Duracell installed and when the battery was checked thoroughly at BatteriesPlus in Cape Coral I was told the battery was fine. Low charge was due to inactivity of using vehicle. Now I have a battery tender and saved a lot on not needing a new battery. System is working fine...thanks BatteryPlus...

My daughter and I were sent to this particular store by T Mobile approximately 10 minutes away. T Mobile called them to see how to handle because their address was not showing up in the claim they were attempting to file for us. They spoke with Peter and sent us over with the claim #. Heidi greeted us to assist when we arrived, not very friendly. She then enlisted Peter’s help because she wasn’t sure what to do after not being able to locate our claim number. Peter was also not friendly and seemed like we were inconveniencing him even though he had already received a call from T Mobile about the circumstances of their store location not being an option prior to us being sent there: In the end, Heidi told me that I would need to drive to Port Charlotte to get her phone fixed which I had no intention of doing. Regardless of wheee the fault lies, Peter and Heidi having more pleasant attitudes and an ounce of empathy may have helped but they both honestly seemed to care less. I will not come back to store if I don’t have to.

The company tells you the battery ($78) has a lifetime warranty but when it comes time to replace it, they find excuses not to honor the warranty. Will not be purchasing from this location again.

Peter was great, he helped me with a new battery for my 2019 Hyundai SUV. They didn’t have the AGm replacement in stock but did have the wet version for my application. I was proud to leave the store with A quality American Made Duracell battery.

I normally don't write negative reviews, but this experience is an exception. I bought a motorcycle battery at Batteries Plus for an overpriced $140, only to later find out that a comparable battery should cost around $30. To make matters worse, the battery caused my motorcycle to start weakly, which is unacceptable given the cost. When I returned to the store to address the issue, I was met with unfriendly and dismissive staff, both during the initial purchase and even more so when I tried to return the battery. Despite approaching them in a friendly mood, the interaction soured almost instantly. To add insult to injury, they refused to take the battery back, leaving me stuck with a product that didn't perform as promised. I ended up buying another battery online for a fair price, and now my motorcycle starts flawlessly—proving the issue was not with my bike, but with their subpar product. This place does not deserve to stay in business, and even one star feels like too much. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. 11.23V for a fully charged battery is to weak they also tested it with their battery tester but they rather manipulated it or selected a smaller battery that it shows that the battery is ok…. They won‘t return it see attached picture…

They replaced the battery in the key fob of my Subaru. They were fast and friendly. I have always had good results with them. Getting a corporate account gets you a 10% discount on most items. Scooter batteries don’t get a discount.

I've been going to Batteries Plus for a long time. I needed a key fob replacement for my vehicle. So instead of visiting the dealership, I decided to give Batteries Plus a chance. After receiving my key fob which wasn't cheap but less than the dealership. The employee who worked here (Ryan) tried to program my key fob but couldn't. He said it was because of the "OBD" on my vehicle wasn't working properly. So I decided to try and get it repaired. I was informed by the auto shop that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle using the proper meter. So I returned back to Batteries Plus and this time (Ryan) who doesn't work there anymore. The new employee Kaleb tried to program the key fob but couldn't. He informed me that their system unit needed updating and that I should come back. So Kaleb informed me a few days later that the unit was ready and I brought the vehicle to the store. He was able to program the key fob and now I am a satisfied customer. Thank you Peter for having a qualified employee working at this store.

I went to get a battery for a watch (it belonged to my mom who passed away) . I should have researched more options but my neighbor told me to go here. Well, it cost me $ 32 with tax .. because it includes a lifetime warranty (lifetime?? As long as they're still in business i assume). So I do NOT recommend going here for a watch battery and installation. I NOW know that a jewelry store not too far away charges way less. I didn't use my thinking cap so i paid the consequences. So my suggestion is... call around and get quotes before rushing into something. Highway robbery for a $3.50 battery. Lesson learned. P.S.... THE BATTERY COST MORE THAN THE WATCH IS WORTH. (But my emotions because it belonged to my late mother got the best of me). :'(

Heidi was amazing at this location! I came in late, not too long before closing, and she took my bad battery out and installed a new one! My car has quite a complicated and long process to do this, more so than most cars. (I was told this by the AAA mechanic that helped me with a jump too.). Heidi was so friendly and so knowledgeable. She got this done for me with no problem! If you need a new battery, I would highly suggest this store and definitely ask for Heidi!

Peter at Batteries Plus was outstanding. I came in with a battery warranty issue and he made the whole process easy, clear, and stress-free. He took the time to look everything up, explained my options in plain English, and handled the warranty details efficiently without any runaround. Super professional, genuinely helpful, and the kind of customer service that’s getting rare these days. Thanks again, Peter, you made my day a lot easier.

Purchased a $400 X2 Marine Battery with a 4-year warranty. After two months the battery has 2 volts and can't be recharged. The only thing on it was a bilge pump that has probably run one time in the last month if that. Was told the warranty isn't valid and I can come in to purchase a new one. Will be talking with the manager tomorrow and will repost if things change for the better...not holding my breath. I had a pleasant conversation with Peter the Store Manager and he is trying his best to remedy the situation. More to come...The store manager is going to replace the battery under warranty. Very happy with the result and appreciate them understanding the situation and taking action to resolve the issue with the customer in mind.
