I'm not from the area of Springboro. was here on business when my drive shaft went on my truck (Ford) had my truck towed to Paul's garage to be looked at see about getting it fixed. they are very honest and professional group of guys here. he was honest with me first time in my life of dealing with a mechanic that they talked me out of putting any money into the truck the frame was completely rusted out. it needed a whole new rear end. wasn't worth putting money into it. sad story i had just paid 4500$ a month or two before all this started going wrong with it.

Top quality service! They take the time to explain and show you what's wrong! They do as they say in a rather fast time! I had water pump fixed and got my suv back that day! I don't usually refer people but Paul's garage i will!!

I've been taking my vehicles here for 17 years. This place always does a great job and they deliver a hometown feel. Charlie will not take good care of you but will give you options if there are alternatives and will not rip you off by having you do unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend them for your car maintenance!!

The stressors when one is having vehicle issues can be overwhelming. If you have a business you can whole- heartedly trust with giving an expert assessment and always following through with the best quality of work, peace of mind is attainable. Thank you, Paul's Garage, for giving my truck the love it needed to keep running and giving me that peace of mind of knowing that my vehicle is in the best of hands!

Charlie at Paul’s garage has taken time on multiple different occasions to talk me through issues with my vehicles. He doesn’t look to charge you first for a diagnostic if he doesn’t need to. Everything he has done mechanically on my vehicles for the past 15+ years for myself, my father, and my brothers have been reasonably priced and been sound resolutions to the vehicles problems. I won’t go to any other mechanic.

We have worked with this crew of folks for many years. My mother brought her car from Columbus to have them do work, my daughter comes from Cincinnati and we have had them work on our cars for at least 30 years. They offer honest service, and will give you a shoulder to cry on when they hand you the bill( just kidding Charlie!) You can trust these folks!

After being ripped off by another garage, took my car to Paul's to be fixed. They replaced the bad compressor the other shop put in. They charged my a/c so it works great again. They also changed the oil while they had it. They charged a fair price and did great work. As the work proceeded Charlie and Heather kept me updated as to what was going on, and that was so appreciated after being jerked around by the last place I had went. They have earned my future business and I would highly recommend this repair shop to anyone.

We took our truck in for a manifold repair. We decided not to have it fixed at this time. They noticed that the u joints were bad and replaced them promptly. Very honest shop and great people. Jason was excellent at communicating with us!

Told me there was nothing wrong with my car after a "test drive." Told me it was safe to drive even though he didn't know what was causing the noise. Took it to another shop, and they said my engine mounts were broken, my axels had too much play in them, and my transfer case was messed up.

Incredibly nice people, but they wouldn't help me with my car. I had some bad rear shocks, a coolant leak and a bad O2 Sensor and was told that I couldn't be helped. HOWEVER, I've known several people who go here all the time and love the place and its people. I genuinely wish they would take my business; the kind of people I'd like to have over for Thanksgiving Dinner.

“I went to this shop for help diagnosing a vacuum leak, making it clear I needed only essential repairs due to financial struggles. They told me I needed a lower intake manifold replacement, which would have been a very expensive and unnecessary repair. After getting a second opinion, the actual issue was shredded upper intake, PVC elbows and a faulty mass airflow sensor — much cheaper and problems that, in my opinion, were not difficult to properly diagnose. When I questioned the high-cost repair, they suggested it might have been an honest mistake, but after learning the real issue, I feel it was more about upselling. I would not trust or recommend this shop.”

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to find out why my alternator was draining my battery. Told them I replaced the battery and alternator and my battery was still being drained. I needed to no why it was doing that. They told me to bring it in and they would find out what was going on. I had to pay to have them tell me what was wrong my vehicle. Still don't know why my battery keeps being drained. When they called me to let me know what was going on still had nothing to do with why my battery keeps draining. So paid for them to diagnose it and still have no answers. What they told me was wrong with my vehicle has nothing to do with why I had them looking at it to begin with. So I am still sitting here without a vehicle and a diagnosis that had nothing to do with what is going on with my vehicle. I am very disappointed. I chose this place because they are part of the veterans. I am always down to support any veterans. I will never bring another vehicle to this place ever again. I definitely won't be suggesting this place to any friends or family. Very disappointed. A very unhappy customer for paying a high price for a diagnosis that still doesn't tell me what is going on.

Delighted to find out about this place. I am fairly new to Dayton and was referred by a customer who has been a long time customer of Pauls Garage. They described my issues and gave me advice on how maintain the back door of my suv. Also did an oil change as requested. Will be back when needed. Family owned business and honest!

I was traveling from Indiana to Maryland to see my son and his family for Christmas. Car trouble! I found this place online and hoped for the best. I GOT THE BEST! I needed an alternator. No appointment, only a prayer. He squeezed me right in, fixed me up, and I was back on the road a lot sooner than anticipated. He clearly could have sent me on down the road, but didn't! I highly recommend.

I try to use local, small businesses when possible rather than large chains. Asked to have a flat tire repaired and reinstalled. Receptionist said "They're gonna send you to Tire Discounters. We don't have availability for that." I realize it's a small job, probably not much profit in it but small jobs lead to positive word of mouth which leads to large jobs. Off to the large chain to give them my money.
