I had a pretty significant leak in my tire, and decided to go to Pelc Tire & Service on Hillcrest because it was close and convenient. Wow! Great shop! Fast and terrific service! The guys in the office were really nice and the tech who took care of me was super nice and got me handled quickly! Very reasonable and great service! I certainly have a new tire shop! I need to find out what else they do!

Only tire shop I go to now. Sean (Shawn?) was awesome. The whole crew are really great, and the place is low-stress. They also offer cheaper tires at a reasonable rate. Major work done in minimal time, imo best tire shop in Mobile since the cheaper competition charges just as much now.

I have had oil changes and other services performed on my truck at Pelc and everything has been stellar. But something unique happened today. I went in for brakes because my truck said it was time on the front. 5 minutes later they called and said I didn't need a break repair yet! They could have sold me something I didn't need, but were honest and didn't charge me for unnecessary repairs. Super place from top to bottom. I will be bringing all of my company vehicles there in the future as well. I would definitely recommend. 5/5 stars

I had a flat tire yesterday. My husband put my spare on for me, but said the tire couldn’t be repaired. It’s a 2025 Kia Soul, with just barely more than 20k miles on it, so the tread on all my other tires is still good. I just needed one tire, and started calling around. I spoke with Duane at the Pelc Tire on Hillcrest. He gave me a quote that was less than half the price for the same tire somewhere else, and the price he quoted me included mounting, balancing, tax, etc. I got there first thing this morning, and it literally took them less than 10 minutes to have my car ready to go, and Duane stuck to the price he quoted me. They even checked the air pressure in my other 3 tires, and put my spare back in the hatch for me. Everyone there was polite, kind, and friendly, and not only will I go back to this location, but I will also very highly recommend them to my friends and family. Oh….i also spent an extra $10 and got their road hazard warranty, which is also a great deal! Thank you Pelc Tire!

I have been going to the shop on Hillcrest Road for a set of tires, oil changes, and some repairs. They people are nice to deal with because they have good customer service. No issues with the repairs. I was going to use Walmart for a new set of tires, but ended up asking them for pricing. They were slightly more expensive but I feel they gave a much better installation and experience.

Pelc on Hillcrest is amazing! After getting my car inspected elsewhere, it seemed that my car couldn’t be fixed. I even had an appointment at a dealership for a new car. But after seeing the great reviews online, I impulsively brought my car here to get a second opinion first. Pelc fixed my car in about 24 hours and saved me thousands of dollars! The employees were great to work with, kept me in the loop, and took the time to explain options. I will definitely be recommending this place!
