Dropped car off Friday at 8, said they'd check it out and call me that morning. At 4:00 I called them and they said they were just about to look at and would call me shortly. At 6:00 I drive by and they said they got busy and it would be Monday morning. Monday afternoon no call yet so I call them at 3:30. We got busy and wer'e about to look at it so we'll call you shortly - no callback Tuesday I show up at 8 and they still haven't looked at it. I told him I was there to pick it up instead so he drives it around, hands me the keys and walks off. No apology for wasting my time and holding my car for four days. Every time I went by there was nobody in the shop area working on anything which explains why they never looked at my car.

This is one of the most reasonable mechanics in Lubbock went to 3 other mechanics who wanted to charge $300 to install a drive shaft CV joint and Penas charged me $105 plus extra grease. In my opinion Mark is Lubbocks best and reasonable mechanic and if you're a college student don't go any where else they try to take you for all you have.

Would NOT recommend this business for anything! Had our truck for 3 years and finally got back after motor and transmission replaced but was NOT done correctly. Very poor customer service!

I had gotten several reliable people recommend Peña's including a brother. So I took my jeep after a few questions. I was told they would look at it and call me with a quote. I never got a call from them. I made several calls A year and a half later. I asked if I could pick it up and take it elsewhere. They were very good about setting it next to the dumpster for me to pick up. Just saying. I have discovered that if you want a good mechanic to stick to being good make him sign something, look you in the eye, make him promise, do not pay until you are 100% satisfied...

This man is amazing! I had my alternator go out on my car and he was very quick and professional. I had my car back the next day! He was very reasonable with his price and tried to get me the best deal on the part. I would highly recommend. His shop is very welcoming on the inside. Do not recommend this mechanic to anyone I spent over $7,000 getting a engine put into my vehicle and when they put the engine in they knew the lifters were messed up and still put the engine in and just added additive to the engine to quite it down. After said engine was put in I had to go back to the shop numerous times for oil pressure warnings. When I tried to ask them for a price to get new lifters installed they dodged my call and have been for weeks terrible customer service and even worse mechanics.
