The young lady service writer promises service updates and follow-up on an estimate for more work, but delivers on neither. After a week and multiple phone calls to the store, I guess I'll go elsewhere.

Completely dishonest people,I’d go back and leave a negative star review I would. My dear friend, who’s a woman, stopped here because she had a nail in her tire and was out looking for a car for her son, so she just had happened to ask the manager if he knew anybody selling a car, and he said the mechanic working on her tire was so being’s he’s the manager for Pep Boys,She trusted him,so she bought the car, made it less than 10 miles before it had serious issues and nobody there will do anything about it. At least they could do is correct the issue with the car but nothing. The interesting part about all of this is, one of the guys working outfront act like he knew that the car had problems, you would think he would’ve said something.

Very friendly and patient staff even during busy hours. Quick turn around time on installation. Trustworthy mechanics no joyrides of your car. 10/10 would recommend.

Experienced great service at this Pep Boys. My car was leaking oil after getting an oil change at a different company. They squeezed me in last minute for an inspection on a holiday weekend and got the issue fixed in under 10 minutes. Would 100% recommend this Pep Boys.

Great customer service but not enough techs so it backs up alot, except for the wait time they were very friendly and helpful.

Took 5 days for a partial diagnosis. Wanted an additional $459 on top of the original $99 diagnostics charge. Then if it was in fact a fuel injectors problem they wanted $1600 plus labor to fix. $400 per injector is insane. Took car home and fixed myself. May have taken me 2 days but cost me less than $100 for injectors.

After waiting 3 hours at Walmart, I left and made an appointment here for a tire repair. Appointment was easy to make. Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was in and out in 30 minutes and had a 5 star Google review experience! Thanks again!

This place has no idea what the words “customer service” mean. The young guy has no respect for anybody and doesn’t know how to talk to people. I went there November 20th 2025 to get tires put on my car and I didn’t notice until I got off of work today November 21st 2025 that they installed one of them backwards, I go and explain the situation to them and not one apology was given, was told I “couldn’t be put in front of other customers because that’s not right.” But I paid for a service (that makes me a customer obviously) that wasn’t done correctly and just wanted them to resolve it, he told me driving on the tire while it’s installed backwards wouldn’t damage it at all, which is a blatant lie that a simple google search could tell you, was told I only have 2 options and he was done talking to me and walked away. Had to go to another tire shop that told me this location is NOTORIOUS for messing up peoples car, DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to leave with your car not in optimal conditions.

Went in for an oil change…3 hours later I needed two new tires. The two tires purchased needed new valve stems after they changed the tires. The valve stems were the issue not the tires. We find out as I sat on the side of the road filling my tires…to try to get out of the way of traffic with kids in the car. I was hung up on 3 times by customer service. They stated the lack of hours given by the corporate office was bringing it lack luster employees.

Was happy with the cost of my tires during the sale. Tire light went on later that day and I had my son check them. Pressure was all over the place! Seems this should be done before delivering the car back.

Made a 9:30am appointment for basic mount, balance, alignment and showed up early. They hadn't even pulled my truck in at 1030, and told me appointment times don't matter when it comes to getting your vehicle worked. They also seemed to simply not give AF. I went to Firestone down the road, night and day difference in attitude and service. Never again will I go to this pep boys. Waste of time. I added a picture so they can see exactly who left the review. 🤙

I've used pep boys in the past to get my customers vehicles aligned in the past but this time the price was like $50 more then what i've paid in the past. almost $150 for a simple toe adjustment. I have other options and will be using them next time.

Service writer was very energetic. I called to check if they have the battery for my car. Answer Yes. As soon as I pulled into the parking spot, he's out taking down the milage and the car key and immediately moved my car to the service bay. I thought it would be done in a jiffy. But I was told to have a seat in the waiting area which was very clean with comfortable chairs, coffee and a charging station. I kept looking through the window and saw my car with the hood up but nobody working on it. Later I found out that they have to bring the battery from somewhere as my Prius uses a special battery. Wonder if they have an auxiliary power to hook up the car before the battery was taken out so wouldn't lose all stored data and reset the clock. Overall I was very happy with the service as I didn't have an appointment.

Had a nail in the tire that was not able to be patched. Manager Joseph said they have the tire and will fix it. Took an hour and a half to say that they were wrong and the tire is at another location. Joseph confirmed with me that the tire will be ordered and sent the next day. This time it took nearly 3 hours for them to tell me that they did not order the correct tire. Finally, on the third day and multiple hours of worked missed at this point, they installed the tire and took their time once again. Car’s alignment is now awful and I had to go elsewhere to get that done. Manager only knocked a service fee off and was not apologetic. I feel disrespected and am now out of more than 5 hours in wages due to their incompetence. Used to love Pep Boys, but this experience has me completely turned away from using them ever again. GO ELSEWHERE!

I had ordered tires and wheels elsewhere and had them installed at this location. Even though I purchased elsewhere, the Sservice was great. The managers and service writers were very accommodating and Louie has gone beyond to assist me. I even had a warranty issue that they assisted with even though it wasn’t their issue. Thank you crew at Pep Boys an Spring Hill Dr in Spring Hill.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Interaction with team member Benny was bad enough to put me off ever using any pep boys location. My battery is having trouble, leaving me stranded at a gas station this morning. In an attempt to be proactive I called to see if it could be addressed today, and was assured by Benny that they have the battery in stock and to bring it right in and we’d get it handled tonight. I drove over there, after he struggled with the computer for about 15 minutes, looking up wrong things and getting my state of my tag that he literally had just looked at incorrectly, referring to it as a “brain fart” I was already starting to lose hope, but it was what it was and I chalked it up to being human. After about 40 minutes of waiting, I hear him on the phone with someone trying to order a battery. He then comes over and lets me know “we don’t have the battery, so I ordered one; but it’ll be more.” I was already looking at almost $300, so I asked how much more. He simply stated he did not know. I replied I did not want to commit to something when I did not know the price and that’s when he turned hostile towards me stating rudely “cool now I have to call and cancel it!” Then saying I didn’t give him the opportunity to look it up. Why hadn’t he looked it up prior? He kept acting like I was in the wrong for being done with them at this point after telling me “they’re just putting your battery back in your car.” I explained that I work in an industry where things happen, but i would never blame the customer and that I was aggravated about the lack of accountability demonstrated, not that an error was made. I explained to him why this was a need and that my husband would be at work in a place where he can’t accept calls or texts if I was stranded and I don’t have anyone else to assist if that were to happen, and that I wish I had known upfront that they didn’t have it so I could have waited until he was off. He continued to be rude and more or less act like I was the burden- as if I enjoyed wasting an hour of my time and having to leave more stressed than when I arrived. The gentleman who put my battery back in was nice and professional, but unfortunately not enough to redeem his colleagues poor behavior. Pep boys, please see this as a training opportunity. My family and I are still somewhat new to town and are loyal to establishments that provide good customer service. I didn’t expect special treatment or anything out of the ordinary, just transparency, professionalism, and accountability. Had these things happened you likely would have had loyal customers for life. However, this incident left such a bad taste in my mouth I will never darken the doorstep of any pep boys location.

5 stars! We got a huge nail in our tire on the highway and immediately pulled off and luckily saw this Pep Boys location. Chad Toohey and his team took great care of us and had us on our way quickly. Highly recommend.

Chad & The store manager Joseph were awesome! They kept me informed, helped try to find any discounts or deals and got the job done as quickly as possible. Only complaint (NOT their fault) their computer system runs insanely slow. It makes it extremely difficult for them to effectively do their jobs! They have to wait so long for tickets to process so they can check someone out. Again, absolutely nothing they can do about it. But Pep Boys needs to get this worked out for them! They work hard and could be more effectively and ultimately would make the shop more money.

If I could rate -5 star I would. Don’t make the mistake I did trying to save a few $ and bring your car here for mount and balance. I brought 4 brand new tires, wheels and sensors here to be installed. When I picked it up the tire light was on, went back in and a guy came out with a handheld tool and said the sensors weren’t programmed so he was able to get the light to go out. I had plans to meet a friend in Tampa and by the time I got there all 4 tires were flat. I inflated them to get me back to Spring Hill and went right to Pep Boys. They said the sensors were installed incorrectly so supposedly fixed them. My tires didn’t go flat again, but I’ve always had trouble with keeping them full enough to stop the light from coming on. Also the sensors weren’t programmed to the right position so at the time the mgr told me their tool was out for repair so they couldn’t program them. Failed to disclose that to someone making an appt to have tires and sensors done. Fast forward and one of my tires went completely flat again. Called them and wasn’t confident I would not be charged for bringing it in and their were NO NOTES on my acct about the previous issues. I ended up taking it to Goodyear and they said all the cores and valve stems were lose. They replaced them all, programmed my sensors correctly and got me in quick. I will never bring a vehicle to pep boys again. Tried to get a refund but only willing to give me what I paid Goodyear and have to jump through hoops. They should be lucky they weren’t reimbursing me the 1200 I paid for 4 new tires and wheels.
