★☆☆☆☆ Pep Boys in Eastern New Orleans is a mechanical port-o-let. It is runned by the inept at the desk who don't know when personal is to arrives and mechanics who dont know how to put on tires, check pressure or balance them. I was told at come early in to have something that was supposed to be done on my car the day before that they failed to do that I paid for. I called back and the worker told me to come back early the next day to correct the issue because the mechanic comes in at 8am. I get there only to be told they don't come in till 1030am. All I get is a sorry I didn't know they weren't coming in. I don't work here so what is sorry going to do when they've now wasted hours from two of my days. I'm offered no compensation but a damn sorry. Between the incompetence of the desk staff and mechanics I can't see how this place is still open. Pep Boys I suggest you send someone down to check this place out before someone loses their life through mechanical error. If I could give them negative stars I would

★★★☆☆ First let me say that I had an appointment for 11:00 am and my vehicle was not put on the rack until 12:45pm. The technician had problems opening the hood so I had to bang while he pulled the release knob. This allowed the hood to open. I had a scheduled manufacturer check which included an oil change. Well within two days, my under carriage panel came lose and was dragging. It was missing the support retainers. Now I have to purchase new retainers to fix this problem.
