I purchased a manager special which included Oil change, tire rotation and windshield wipers. After I paid for the services listed above, I inspected my tires and noticed the tire rotation was not done. I asked the service advisor and I heard the service tech state, â No, I didnât do it. Iâm not going to break my back.â If I would not have brought up the issue, I would have paid for a service which was not performed. I wonder what else the service tech has stated he has done but in reality probably did not do.

Customers beware. Last month, I had to bring my Jeep back three different times because the shop installed the wrong brakes. I kept hearing a whistling sound just days after the service, and eventually, the mechanic admitted they had installed the wrong ones. That alone shouldâve been enough for me to stop goingâbut unfortunately, I gave them another chance. Today, I brought my car in for a diagnostic test. First, they gave me the wrong report, and after waiting for them to correct it, I picked my car up only to find a nail in my tireâwhich definitely wasnât there when I dropped it off. When I brought this up to Zachery and Angel, I was told nothing could be done until tomorrow and that the shop wasnât responsible. Completely unacceptable, considering the car was in their care the whole time. Between the careless mechanical work, repeated mistakes, and complete lack of accountability, itâs clear this shop canât be trusted. Oh, and their customer service sucks! Save yourself the time, money, and frustrationâgo somewhere else.

When I dropped off the car,I was told that it would be ready in 40 min. It took them 1 hr and 52 minutes. They clearly forgot about my car sitting out there for 45 minutes until I came back thinking it was ready but no. They brought the car in right away after I told them about it. Very disappointing. I had to waste and extra hour of my time. I had to send the wife on an uber to pick up daughter because the car was not ready when promised. Not going back t

I used to use Pep Boys for repairs all the time back when I drove an old 1979 Honda but then I got a new car and did not need any repairs for a while. Unfortunately, last week my car simply stopped running while I was driving on the freeway. I have AAA roadside coverage so I called for a tow which redirected me to their app which insisted that I decide where I wanted to have my car towed before they would dispatch the tow truck. Pep Boys was not one of the automatic choices but I remembered how happy I had been with my past repairs so I looked up the nearest location and typed in the address manually. Great decision! Pep Boys charged about 2/3 of what the dealership (AAA's first automatic choice) would have charged to replace my alternator. My car has been running great ever since. Thank you, Pep Boys!

I brought my car here on Sunday (2/1) for a front brake inspection due to a clear braking noise. I was told twice that my front brakes were fine and was instead sold a battery, oil change, and other services. The noise continued, so I went to a different Pep Boys location on Tuesday (2/3), where I was told my front brakes were metal-to-metal and damaging my rotors. They also found a damaged oil dipstick tube, which was never mentioned by the Downey location despite them performing the oil change. When I raised this with the service manager, Guillermo, I was told they âonly look at what theyâre inspecting,â which raises serious concerns about safety, accountability, and transparency. Very disappointing experience.

The men working here this morning kept a customer standing at the counter 20 minutes while they held personal non work related conversations in-front of the customers, too long of a wait for a service drop off. They send you a link to track the progress however it is not updated. Nor is a call is placed when vehicle is ready. In addition, they keep you waiting yet another long period of time to pick up the keys. Looks to be unorganized. Expect delays when coming here even on a Tuesday morning. Other PepBoys have you in and out a lot quicker.

I called set up an appointment w staff member. Went in the day of my appointment needed to jump my car to get there to get repaired. When I got there staff member seemed bothered and said I had to make an appointment. I told him i had an appointment he responded w they weren't going to be able to even look at my car because the person that was going to look at my car never showed up for work....ummmmm ok I guess they only have one mechanic idk. I asked him why wasn't I called and told since I had to struggle to get my car there it was very inconsiderate of them he didnt care he shrugged his shoulders like whatever. Disgusting behavior. I wouldnt even waste my time coming here with so many choices around pep boys needs to step it up. Firestone tires literally 3 mins away behind jc penny stonewood mall away has great customer service and theyre fast no need to put up w the guys at pepboys they have the worst attitudes and the company doesn't seem to care maybe its because im a female đ¤ˇđťââď¸

I called to ask if they had available appointments to schedule an oil change. I was given a 1pm appointment. I arrived and was told the guys were going to lunch and to wait one hour for the car to be ready. Despite them disregarding my scheduled appointment, I agreed. I returned close to 3pm and my car was still sitting in the same spot. They should be honest about appointments and their availability and not disrespectful to other people's time. Here's an update to yesterday's waste of time. After my sheduled appointment for a simple oil change was disregarded for 2 hours, the employee working the front counter stated I could take my car somewhere else. Ofcourse I did and the Valvoline Shop took care of my oil change in 15 minutes. I will never go back to this place they were extremely disrespectfu overall.

I called and asked for an appointment at 12 and was told I could come in after 5 pm. Guy closing said he couldnât take me and had an appointment at 5 even though it was already 5:15. After I left I watched him walk next door to get donuts. He also said they close at 6:30 but the website says 7. Very rude and poor customer service skills. Guy closing seemed very unhappy and ignored several questions. Probably gonna switch to a different company like Firestone, I hear theyâre very polite and fast.
