After sitting their for 2 hours, they decided to finally tell me that they couldn't mount my tires. Their new machine couldn't do the job. Bathroom was extremely dirty, floor could of used a good mopping. Rodney was great. Female manager was rude.

Now their people won't even return our phone calls. This is horrible for a so called 5 star store. You told us to message you and nobody replies. You tell us in store that you will call but nobody calls. Its easy to do the easy jobs well. It's how you handle the difficult situations that make you 5 star or in my opinion no star. Our car has sat on your lot for a year now. Nobody seems to have the time to talk to 2 disabled adults who can't keep throwing money at your store. UPDATE: I have emailed you as requested and yet again received no reply is this how Pep Boys runs their business? May 2023 update: My car still sits in their lot. Can't get return calls from their claim department. UPDATE JULY 12 2023 Pep Boys has now lied on legal forms and claimed that my car was abandoned. They have had the state remove the vehicle so they do not have to fix their mistake. I have never had a company treat me so poorly, or lie about the circumstances of the vehicle being on their property. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES AND FALSE APOLOGIES ON THIS REVIEW! The most shocking part is that they stole the engine out of my car and have refused to replace it I believe that with the amount of time that has passed we've been more than patient.

They pushed my pre-scheduled appt more than a day after the time I and the rep agreed on the phone. I made sure to double check time and place with the call rep before coming in 3 days prior. My dad brought the car in and they took liberty to schedule it a day later, which we won’t be available without our consultation. I called again see day to sorted it out and was told to call back since technicians was “not available”. This is not how you should conduct business. Been with Pepboy for over 5 years and they recently closed my fav location. I won’t visit this franchise again after this.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Do not go here. Do not use Pep Boys ever. I made an appointment online and confirmed by phone before making the 40 minute drive to have my tire fixed (2nd time but the store near me closed so I had to drive to this store) when I arrived I told the guy at the counter I had an appointment to which he said, I don't have anyone here to fix it. It was 4 pm. He blamed the call center. This company sucks. They had the audacity to send me an email stating I missed the appointment, and asking if I wanted to reschedule, ARGH!!

Do NOT trust this place, I went in October 2025 for an abnormal sound under my hood. I was told my AC clutch was loose and I will need a new AC compressor or my Ac unit will die soon but due to cooler weather I could wait and it was " just a sound". I specifically ask the technician who was suppose to be the " lead tech" if waiting to repair it would cuase any damage to my car especially the engine or transmission. He stated no the only thing would be not getting cold air. I was then told by the front desk staff to just " spray some Dw40 on it for the noise" Fast forward to now, I was scheduled to come back next week for a new AC compression BUT my car completely died on me in the middle of the road. Had it towed to a shop ( non pepboys) near me and was quoted over $3000 in repairs from the AC compressor seizing up and the damage it cuased to the serpentine belt , battery, tension belt and starter. If I had written down the name of the staff who gave me this false and unsafe information when I brought my car in for work I would pursue legal action.

Kaleb was a lifesaver. Really, he was because it was about an hour before closing time and he was the only one left working. I had a appointment, but due to traffic I was a few minutes late. I told him about a really bad spot on my front tire. It had ripped more since I last looked at it. I and Kaleb both thought that it would have blown out on me. He changed that one tire and I came back the next day to get the other 3 put on. He was very fast at getting them changed. I'm happy with the service and would use them again. Let me mention too that the tires were buy 2 get 2 free Cooper tires with 60,000 mile warranty. 255/65R17

STAY AWAY. 3 days and 6+ hours of driving for 4 tires." This has been the worst service experience of my life. I made a 12:00 PM appointment and called ahead to confirm before driving an hour to get here. They turned me away at the door and told me to come back 4 hours later. I drove back home and back again (another 2 hours of driving), waited for 2.5 hours, and they only finished TWO tires. > I had to come back a THIRD TIME today just to get the last two tires mounted. I've been here since they opened and am only just now leaving. Total tally: 6+ hours of driving, 3 separate trips, and over 48 hours of stress for a job that takes any competent shop an hour. Total lack of respect for customers. This place is a joke!!! I finally left the shop on the third day at 9:30 AM. This is a level of incompetence I have never experienced.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. My husband and I were driving cross state and at 5am in the morning, the car died along the side of the interstate. No heater, no hazard lights, in 40degree weather, in the dark. When we looked around for places that could test battery and alternators, this location came up, so we towed 45 minutes back into town and to this location. We were there a little after 8am, location opened at 9 so we waited around. When they opened, first in line.... And they refused to see us because we did not have an appointment. They refused to even try and give us a jump or test anything, they said they were too busy and understaffed and would have to wait for the next day in the afternoon. It's important to note that we were very kind when asking, and pleaded that we would even wait a little if he needed, but he just started to ignore us. It was horrible and I immediately broke down crying outside trying to figure out how we were going to get back home to my family member who was very ill. We thankfully called around and found another auto shop 30 minutes away that would be able to help us and called for another tow. The tow truck driver arrived, asked the problem, let him know we weren't sure if it was our batter or alternator, and he said, well let's check. Not even 2 minutes later he let us know it was the alternator. And we towed to the other shop. This Pep Boys couldn't spare two minutes, for what would have been paying customers, who were stranded and needed help. By far the worst customer service. So relieved we found another company to use and suggest in the future. Definitely not Pep Boys ever again.

I brought my 2017 Chevy Camaro to Pep Boys due to starting issues. After their inspection, I was told the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced. Trusting their professional diagnosis, I authorized and paid for the repair. Unfortunately, the alternator was not the problem. My car continued to have issues, and I later learned that the real issue was simply the battery, which required replacement. This means I paid for an expensive and completely unnecessary repair. As a result of Pep Boys’ misdiagnosis, I had to take my vehicle to the dealership for another diagnosis, which caused additional financial loss, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with Pep Boys. After several calls, I spoke with a regional manager who said he would file a claim and asked for documentation, which I provided. Since then, I have received no follow-up. Every time I call, I am told the issue will be escalated and that a manager will contact me within 24–48 hours, but no one ever does. This experience reflects poor diagnostic practices, lack of accountability, and extremely disappointing customer service. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing any major repairs here.

Called a day before to let them know about an audio issue on my car. They told me to set an appointment to get it checked out. I go into my appointment the next day at 8am, waited a whole hour for them to tell me they don't fix audio issues and they didn't bother to look for fuse boxes either. Would have saved me trip if they had told me the day before, that they couldn't work on it.

Worst service ever! Ive had problems with this place in the past but I went back here only because my battery was under warranty. It was dropped off Sunday afternoon. They said they couldnt fix till tomorrow. I said to throw in an oil change which I was told would cost $25. Monday morning I get a text message stating my car is ready but there is an attached complimentary inspection report that stated oil and AC leak everywhere. When I called to get more info I wad told the guy that did the inspection had an emergency and had to leave and told him nothing about a leak. I asked if anyone else can look at it to give me more info and he said he would call me back after he gets ahold off the guy. My daughter wasted her time going there and my Dad called to get the scoop and was told the guy that did the inspection isnt really experienced and had no further explanation for the leak. My daughter had to be to work already and had to bum a ride. The guy assured us the car was ready and we would pick up next morning. The following morning Tuesday my daughter who had to pay for an Uber to get her car gets the key handed to her and the car wont start. She has to wait around while they try to solve the problem. They told her "we didnt check the car cause you had you just wanted the battery replaced" what? They supposedly gave us a complimentary inspection what do you mean you didnt check the car and how do you not check that the car turns on after installing a new battery. Then here is the kicker they charge my daughter $93. They told her "the battery is under warranty but you have to pay for installation!". My daughter who had to wait 2 days to be able to get her car and had to pay $20 for Uber ride is charged $25 for oil change and $73 for battery installation. I hated your service if I would have know my that I would have just bought a battery elsewhere and wouldnt have had all the hassle that comes with dealing with your location. Corporate Management needs to do something about this location. They knew the problems they created for us and they have a coupon online for free battery installation and couldnt have thought to apply that for my daughter. This is not the way to keep customers. This location is going on my black list. No one should ever go here. If corporate reads this I would appreciate a refund for my $73 installation fee as I believe the coupon at the very least should still apply. Frankly, my daughter should also be reimbursed for her Uber costs as she would have had a ride had it actually have been ready on Monday when they said it was.

They cant install tires "because the air compressor is down". They also had me on hold for 10 minutes to quote a rear differential fluid change prior to driving there. They quoted $90 even though I explained the diff cover has to be removed and replaced. Once I got there, they told me its $190 even though I brought my own fluid, RTV and a new cover. I was told my vehicle woukd be pulled in "right now :)" When i arrived an hour later it was still in the parking lot untouched. I took my tires and left. If you only have one tech, the folks in front should be trained to pull vehicles in and do simple tasks. Management needs to get the air compressor and staffing situation fixed.

It’s clearly a complicated and frustrating issue. Corporate has clearly tied your hands and given you a beating, but it’s absolutely insane that it takes 30 minutes to give you a set of keys and 30 minutes to pick up my vehicle. The place is filthy with dust and grime all over everything, and one female clerk commented she keeps moving the partition closer so she has less space to clean. When I called to set up the appointment the dispatcher or answering service was very difficult to understand, and it was a challenge to get him to order the right tire. You have to do better. Look at your competition. The only reason I did business with you today is because you carried the cooper tires I bought a year ago. The folks in the store are nice enough, but your computers are so slow even they are frustrated. It’s bad enough that I’m looking forward to these tires wearing out, so I can end our relationship by shopping elsewhere.

This store did not listen to me about the warranty work from the store in yuma. Was told extra charges to look at my vehicle again. Treated me as a burden. I am told I woukd be taken care of. Nothing happened but a wasted day and possible engine damage to my vehicle. The crank sensor is not working properly.

I don’t hand out five-star reviews lightly — but this Pep Boys location absolutely deserves it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this team operates differently. The manager, Lina, is nothing short of fantastic. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly — honest. In a time when it feels like so many auto shops are trying to upsell or take advantage of customers, Lina and her team are the complete opposite. They explain everything clearly, walk you through what’s needed (and what’s not), and treat you with genuine respect. I’ve never once felt pressured or misled here. The pricing is fair, the communication is clear, and the work is done right the first time. That kind of integrity is rare these days. If you’re tired of feeling like just another number or worrying about being overcharged, this is the place to go. I ONLY trust this Pep Boys with my vehicles — and as long as Lina is running the show, I’ll never take my business anywhere else.
