I had the bad luck of being broke down within towing distance of this establishment. My fuel pump went out. These photos are pictures of how they left my van after their “service” was complete. Dash off, console left loose, and the motor cover left mis aligned. The tech on staff had to search through extra hardware bc they lost the hardware that bolted down the center console. They also broke the hood latch. My bill was high and the management of course refused to take responsibility for the bad service, and breaking parts on the van and hung up on me through the process. I live far away (Oregon) and offered to send pictures of proof of damage but all was ignored. I’m terrified for the condition and care in which the fuel pump was replaced given all these events. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

Five days ago they did work on my suspension system. I thought they had done a good job and was even impressed that they threw in a free alignment service. Today, Thanksgiving, I almost did a big road trip to be with family--good thing I didn't. My front wheel almost came off. Their negligent service could have gotten me killed.

I came in twice in the last two weeks one for a oil change and too get my brakes checked I dont usually know car basic maintenance but both times Eduardo has been super helpful and very professional in breaking down whats going on with my car. the last time I came like a few months ago I had lights on my dash board and someone working on my car couldn't tell me why they were popping up but this time Eduardo went above and beyond to have someone get rid of all my dash lights I didn't even know my back light was out. I payed attention to how he interact with other customers even the difficult ones.outstanding not to many people who will be honest and go above and beyond for their customers.

I took my car for check up at Pep Boys Repair Services, I think that's the new name bcuz I found out that they do service but they don't sell parts anymore, my understanding is all Pep Boys will be Service only, Luis who was the Tech who check my car was really honest with me bcuz he says that my car is in great condition and doesn't need anything, I'm so happy to find out that my car is in great condition, I'm so grateful with Luis and all the personnel as well bcuz all of them were very nice, polite, friendly and very professional, I'm definitely recommend this place 100% 😊👍🚘

The guy who works the customer service desk was bad at customer service. Initially pulled the wrong battery. Had trouble counting 48 months from warranty start date and lacked attention to detail to the customers issues in front of him. All while arguing on the phone with a fleet customer. He then goes into the garage area making absurd child like noises. It’s a hassle to get something simple done here. If you have questions don’t bother as he “orders” you to have a seat when the lobby don’t even have chairs, just tires on display. Then you go to the waiting area that has signs covering the windows so you don’t see the clowning around while they work on your car.

We’ve purchased several sets of new tires from this Pep Boys location in Palmdale and every experience has been outstanding. Tonight, after getting a puncture, we brought our car in and were once again impressed by the high-quality customer service. Ruben in the shop and Mario in the garage went above and beyond to take care of us. They prioritize the customer's needs by providing fast, reliable service and ensured we were safely back on the road in no time. We highly recommend this location and will definitely come back!

I truly wish that I can give this place zero stars. This was my worst experience at a car service. They double charge me for the same service and then refused to give me a refund. Both employees Robert and Rueben were very rude as was the manager. This has put a bad taste in my mouth the ever visit another Pep Boys.

2/9/25 | had my whole break system change, at this location. One month late my breaks are doing a nasty loud grinding and during stop times, like if my breaks pad had sand stuck. Made a appointment to have them check again. I explained my concerns. Later I get a call saying that my car rotor was damaged. The gentleman on the phone was claiming whoever installed my breaks did it wrong to the point where the rotor got damage, when you buy the breaks pep boys they give you a warranty, the gentleman was trying to charge $250 1 told the guy he was crazy breaks have warranty. They fix the issue but I won't ever recommend this place. Now I am driving with Warren down rotor because the mechanic who was supposed to be a certified did not live to his knowledge.Pep boys you have disappointed me and disrespect my vehicle. Why are we paying so much money, & people get away with this nonsense, if I wanted someone to screw me over I should just have taken my vehicle to the dealer. Learned a hard lesson.

My car stalled while driving, but I managed to get it on to pep boys. They did diagnosis and found a previous mechanic from a different place, left some pipes and other things loose after fixing the timing belt. They fixed it with no extra charges, just the $99.9 general fee. If I went to another mechanic, I believe they would have charged extra and lied about a bunch of other problems. Thank you pep boys, my car is running smoothly and no more check lights

Recently my daughter took her car here for a second opinion and found the other mechanic was trying to rip her off for about $2,000.00. Pep Boys fixed it for way less and it wasn’t even what the other mechanic said. Highly recommend!!!!

Came in to have all 4 tires replaced. Noticed one of my rims had a 3 inch long scratch with their lubricant on either side of it. Brought it in and had the damage documented and was told the manager would be in contact with me. That was about a month ago. Since then I had called at least twice a week and each time I was told “I’m not the manager so I can’t do anything, I will leave them a note to call you back” and I have never received a call. It is very clear to me that the manager and even the employees of this store do not care about the damage they did to my car.

Worst experience I’ve ever had, & I’ve come to this exact location multiple times no issues but today… Moral of the story watch out for Jenny she calls the cops when you call her out for her weird behavior… I came in for an oil change from the start Jenny was really passive aggressive I don’t know what her issue was she was talking to me like I wasn’t human as she was talking to another guy while working on my papers, also guys beware before this appointment I had an oil leak right after getting done here I had informed Jenny she didn’t seem to care?? I’m paying almost $100 for you guys to do a half job & this type of customer service? Anyways she them goes “give me ur keys” I hand them over she walks off says nothing & I’m standing there like I don’t know what next & mind you I was very present she was still talking to some other guy so I was really confused with this interaction, she claims and I quote that there’s something wrong with me & that I’m not paying attention like okay is it ur job to diagnose me with something… so I come to pick up my car this is where it all happens I politely ask if I can have someone else’s help me out cause she was being so passive & to them call out my character saying something is wrong with me? I didn’t know I looked that scary or mentally ill I look like a dork lol Im still curious about the leak she couldn’t explain nothing to me didn’t give me my papers gaslights me multiple times she tells me no no one else can help me only her & I ask for a manger or some mechanic to help me out cause seriously I’m confused about this whole interaction & more so concerned about the leak but no she was too busy diagnosing me instead of actually proving me with service/info about my car; Im paying for this service as she’s calling the cops like what anyways I just took a pic of her tag & then she filps saying she doesn’t give me permission to talk about her online she them calls the cops saying I’m harassing her & then I’m recording her & being aggressive this & that all I did was snap her tag so I won’t forget her name Jenny; so alright I’ll wait for the police to arrive because I’m not some criminal I’m not gonna dip so I waited some time while all that was going on she calls over a guy to back her up saying she has witnesses & camera and that I’m breaking laws being really aggressive with her & she feels threatened bro I kid you not it’s 10am it’s too early I’m half asleep I just wanted my oil change done & to know about my leak is it that hard to help a guy out I felt like I was being discriminates for who knows what?? all of this was so unnecessary she then tells me “you can leave I can file the report” so she could lie on my name cause I clearly wasn’t doing anything wrong I was not being aggressive to Jenny I was talking to her like a baby at one point cause she claims she felt threatened then she wants to tell me I’m talking all nice because someone is with her so unprofessional likenbrother because when I’m trying to talk to you like an adult you wanna say I’m threatening you idk do better Jenny stop being so miserable. it’s so unfortunate too cause I was already getting comfortable with the service here I guess the lesson here is to learn how to do my own oil changes cause this was ridiculous & a waste of my time the police didn’t even show up or idk I called 911 to ask what’s next cause she was making it seem like I was a criminal going to hurt her 😭😭 the officer told me I can leave like who ever is in charge of managing you need to check on Jenny she was really rude on my end & I did express that to her she got defensive gaslit me & her solution let’s call the cops 🤗
