On March 19, 2024 I took my 2017 Toyota Camry to Pep Boys in Savannah Georgia to get 4 new tires. When I picked up the vehicle, my wheel cover was put on incorrectly on my back passenger tire and the check tire pressure light was on. My tire light was not on prior to obtaining the new tires. The system read, check tire pressure and later read check tire pressure monitoring system. I assumed the light would go off because of the new tires but it did not. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 my light is still on. I then call Pep Boys to notify them of the light. I am asked to bring the car in for them to check the tire pressure. One of the workers in the back checks the pressure on all the tires and assures that the pressure is good in all 4 tires. He then states, they may have broken your sensor when they changed your tires because it was not picking up on his reader. Service manager Steven Henry then comes to my vehicle and checks behind the worker. He agrees something is not right and schedules for me to bring my vehicle back on Sunday March 31, 2024. After assessing my vehicle, it is determined that 1 of my 4 tire sensors need to be replaced. When I questioned Steven about the possibility of someone breaking it during the replacement of my tires, he responded no it is just coincidental. The sensor that is broken was the same sensor on the tire where the wheel cover was placed on incorrectly. Pep Boys (Steven Henry) stated that they could fix the sensor, but I would have to pay $169.55 for parts and labor. Why should I have to pay for something that was damaged in their care? I am not a mechanic, but I do pay attention to my vehicle. Why would 1 sensor go out and not any of the others. I truly believe that my sensor was damaged during the installment of my tires.

This Pepboys was such a great experience! I made an appointment online the day before to drop off and the car was ready before lunch time. Took my car in on Friday for Saturday Lifetime alignment. Alignment machine was down for almost 2 months so local shop could not service my vehicle. I was informed to either go somewhere locally and pay them to do the work, wait for the repair or commute 2 hours to Charleston SC or Jacksonville Fl until repairs were made to the alignment machine. I picked up my vehicle on Sunday and still out of alignment as seen in the picture and pulled to the right instead of the left when I dropped it off. So along with excessive wear to my tires and vehicle from not being in proper alignment, I was have to make another appointment to have vehicle serviced for correction further adding more wear to my tires tread. Mr. Calvin has been great and very apologetic for the situation.

I was driving back to North Carolina from Orlando Florida Saturday evening. I came off the interstate and Savannah and my back right we'll hit a pothole and blew the sidewall of my tire out. I called Pep Boys and they had a tire available but it was 15 minutes until closing time. I told them I was about 10 to 15 minutes away and that they were my only hope to get a tire changed and get back on my way home. When I arrived they went right to work and Calvin and Joe took great care of me. Calvin was so professional and Joe did the work so quickly. Because of these guys and their willingness to stay late and their hard work I am able to make it back home for Father's Day tomorrow! If you are in Savannah and you need any Tire work or anything else done please see the guys at Pep Boys!

Literally the worst shop in Savannah Georgia. I’ve made two appointments with them and both times maybe about 20-30 minutes before the appointment they call me with an excuse as to why they can’t see me. It’s been “the guy who does that quit today” or “the guy who works on that isn’t in today” which is an inconvenience for me coming from so far. They are very unprofessional inconsistent and a waste of time. I give them a -0 but I had to pick a star! Stay AWAY!!!!!! I recommend Mavis!!

Joseph was beyond amazing! We were on a road trip when something happened with our front right brake. They were able to get us in immediately and took care of the missing bolts in less than an hour! The staff was friendly and helpful and treated me with respect!

They should change their names to Con Boys. They have had our ONLY car for 4 weeks. We were first quoted $2600 only that have them keep giving us excuses "oh, the guy that does it isn't here", to "oh the we can't get the right part" to "now we have it but now we need another part which costs, an extra $700" then the DAY we are suppose to get it back, it "sorry, one of our machines is broken, we'll have it to you to tomorrow," to ultimately say the reason you originally brought it in is still broken "that'll be $4400". Forget it, we'll take it someplace else. We have had to track them down for answers and have been lied to for almost a month. Unless you enjoy being ignored and swindled, DO. NOT. I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE here. Don't even look at it when you pass by, if you do check your wallet afterwards cause there's probably some money missing.

I discovered a flat left rear tire coming out of a local restaurant in Savannah, GA. I drove the car (slowly) to the Pep Boys service center on Abercorn St. that was very close by. The mechanic found a screw in the tire but due to the screw's location the tire had to be replaced. The garage installed the same size tire (but different make and tread) that they had in stock. As I was able to contact my local mechanic back home while at Pep Boys. He said that it would be much better to install my spare and find an identical new tire just like the ones I had on the rest of the car. Because Pep Boys had already mounted their tire, I offered to pay the cost of removing their tire and asked them to find the exact brand and size tire as the others and put on the spare instead. The store manager ordered the requested tire and it arrived the next day. When I offered to still pay for the labor due to my mistaken first request, he said that that would not be necessary; that he would not charge me for the labor on the first tire installed. Being treated so well, I decided to have my oil changed there once the new tire was installed. I then received a 20 percent discount on the oil change!! My only complaint is that your coupon is not clear. No one resurface rotors anymore, its a liability. It should have been expressed online. I would have just purchased 2 rotors and pads... which is ultimately what I ended up doing. But I shouldn't have been charged that amount. I wasn't treated unfair or mistreated. Freddy and Chris were great.

They short circuit my car. They just needed to repair an oil leak! Then they were rude, not getting back to me, no apology for the fact that I had to rent a car for 2 weeks! No service, no communication, the worst experience ever! Never do business here! They will break your car and give you attitude

Lets see, where to begin? The run down building? Where none of the doors close properly? Including the front door thats open about 8 inches at all times? I hear my car being cranked and visibly see it being moved to the front of the building. Well hopefully it wont be much longer now... but I have to pee. I walked in on someone that I thought was an employee using the bathroom. He came from the shop and went back to the shop, covered in grease, so of course I thought it was an employee. He didnt lift and close the door properly. I had to keep my 4 year old from just running in on him too. Bare in mind, this is about 10 minutes after my car has been moved. I wait. And I wait. Another 15 minutes have gone by and I go ask, hey is my car ready? "Ill get to it when I finish this". Tells the next customer "ill help you as soon as i finish her out" . Another 10 minutes go by and I get a text saying my car is ready. I go back up there. He says hes not finished. I speak to the manager of the building (not wearing a name tag nor did he give his name), hes aware the bathroom door isn't working, that it hasnt been working for days, he tells me that it wasn't an employee i walked in on that it was a customer. ( man in yellow is still walking around in the shop... not acting like a customer). Says hes going to print out signs to put on the door, never see him again. I finally, finalllllly get my keys and receipt only to find out I've been overcharged by $31! I will not be back, I spoke to caradvise LLC and recieved a direct refund from pep boys. I will NOT be returning to this location. Oh its also on my receipt that the technician didnt know what oil to use....

Fast service with great customer care! Purchased 4 new tires with an alignment. Dropped my car off at 10:30 it was ready by 11:47! Joe was the best to work with! The only complaint I had was to make sure the tires are cleaned off before you return the car to the customer! It was a time trying to get all the extra grease off! Even called Joe to ask for recommendations on getting this off my tires!🤣

I don’t really do reviews like this, so bear with me. This all started out a week ago, I was looking for new tires and saw the ones I wanted. They came from this company, but when I went to go purchase them and get an appointment it wouldn’t let me via website. So, I called the store to make one. I was met with Will who was extremely helpful for the moment. He ordered my tires and scheduled my appointment for 01/30/2026, he also said the tires would be free installation. I then asked specifically about an alignment and he said that they come free as well. Fantastic! So 01/30/2026 comes around, I drop off my car at 1pm and then was called to come pick it up two hours later. The original total for the job was 673$, at first Will charged me for two tires, realized that he did and discounted my original price. Handed me my keys and halfway to me getting home, I was called to come back to the store to get my refund put back on my car. That was no biggie though! Next day, 01/31/2026 I go to get something out of my car and realize my back two tires are completely flat. Like 4.5 and 10 psi flat. I immediately call the shop again and spoke to Will and he said that the next day, it would be fixed. Turns out none of my valve stems were replaced during the installation. So here I am today, drove here on tires that were loosing air as fast as I put it in. For another man I’ve never spoken too, to apologize that the valve stems were not replaced, and that never in 7 years has there ever been a free alignment. Though the problem is being addressed immediately, it’s not worth the hassle for tires. If you can go to a dealership or even a Walmart at this point. It might be more worth your while. This place is a mess, and definitely not worth your time nor your energy.

AFFORDABLE! FAST! AND KIND! I was passing through abercorn on a 16 hour road trip with my one year old when I found a nail in my tire that was letting all the air out every 3 hours or so. It was late in the evening and everywhere was closing, I brought it into pep boys about 25 minutes before closing and they patched me up immediately! Got me out right before closing and we're extremely kind :) very welcoming and eager to help even tho it was very close to closing! I couldn't be more thankful for them! Other repair places said they wouldn't be able to help me til the next day, but pep boys helped immediately and for only $25! I truly couldn't be more thankful for you guys :)
