I have been to a few Pep Boys in my life, but not one as good as this one. The team here really cares, they provide great services but must of all great customer service. I have mentioned specifically Juan, who took the time to explain everything in detail to ease my mom. So, you can have context, I have an old car that hadn’t been driven in about a year, and I took it there to get it check so we can put it up to date so my mom can use it. He was the kindest and made my mom feel very good and safe and explained to her how they were going to do the job and how it was an easier fix than what she thought.

I was initially going to leave a 3 stars review because of the wait-time…lol but decided not to solely because of the mechanic who provided the service. He was attentive, listened to my requests and he worked patiently, professionally and it showed in the great care he provided my car.

I would give 1 trillion negative stars if I could. I had an ac core replaced at this location. When I picked up my 2015 GMC Terrain the front inside interior was damaged beyond belief. The Pep Boys employee that did the work basically trashed the front interior while removing the seats and dash to replace the ac core. The damage was in the thousands and some parts can't be replaced or repaired. It's been a nightmare dealing with the claim with Pep Boys and not one time has anyone with Pep Boys reached out to me for an apology!!! Pep Boys has taken care of some damages and provided me with a rental car at their expense but not without a fight. I am seeing legal and will reach out to the local media to expose the kind of work this location provides and how they dealt with my issue. In my opinion this is vandalism at its worst by a Pep Boys employee and will see if legal thinks criminal charges should be brought against the employee and Manager. Personally I will never use Pep Boys again for anything and will let everyone I know and meet what happened to me. Thank God I videoed and took pictures of my vehicle before dropping it off at Pep Boys the day they took possession of my vehicle. Update. 2/28/24. I have been try to reach out to Rhonda with Pep Boys for the last 10 days trying to get everything resolved and of course they are totally ignoring all my emails. I even copied 2 others at Pep Boys and still no response! No surprise since this is how I have been treated from the start. Guess it’s time to let legal and the media handle it if I can’t get a response soon!

I had a nail in my tire, I didn’t have an appointment. They told me an hour or so and they were very timely, efficient and friendly! I love going to the location off east Sunrise. They’re always so helpful

I am very pleased with the service I received at this Pep Boys. I haven't had the need to use them in a number of years. It is good to see that things are just as professional as they were years ago. It's a testament that Aldo is also still the manager.

The shop is nearby my home, so being able to drop off my vehicle was great. The service tracking app is a wonderful idea, but it didn't work. My vehicle was completed but the app was stuck on the 1st step. The cost was less than expected as well. I found my car shop!

Super disappointing. I made an appointment for an oil change for 7:30, showed up at 7:15 and was told they couldn’t take my car cause they had others ahead of me. No notification, no phone call informing me ahead of showing up. I have had my oil change light on for a while and this was the only time I was able to get time to do this and now I need to wait. If I end up on the side of the road with a broken car, I blame Pep boys.

The most reliable car shop you’ll ever find in the area. Amazing customer service since get someone in the phone till the service is completed. So kind, so professional, so attentive to details… JUAN was the most Amazing person i’ve ever see in Pro Boys company. He deserves a salary rise because of his professionalism and customer service satisfaction, making business better and repetitive customers!!! I came in on a Saturday morning and ordered a tire, which I had to pay for in full upfront. I was told it would arrive in 2–3 days and that I’d get a call when it came in. After 3 days with no update, I called them myself—only to find out the tire was already there, and nobody bothered to notify me. I tried to get the tire installed that same day but was told they couldn’t fit me in. I scheduled an appointment for the following day at 6 PM. Even with the appointment, I ended up waiting over 90 minutes for a basic tire installation. When I finally got the car back, the tire still had the giant 12-inch sticker label on it. They had even test-driven the car with the sticker on, and now the adhesive is stuck on the sidewall. Then, as soon as I turned the car on, I got a low tire pressure alert. They didn’t even bother to top off the other tires. This entire experience felt careless and disorganized from beginning to end.

At first, I felt disappointed because when I asked about a homeless dog outside, one of the employees told me, “I don’t have anything, I don’t want to be responsible.” But then the manager, Aldo, completely changed the experience. He took time out of his work, walked with me, and showed me where a shelter was. He was kind, patient, and truly cared. Aldo deserves full credit — he went above and beyond to help, and that kind of humanity is rare. Because of him, I’m leaving 5 stars.

Pep boys always delivers! Superb always, the front desk is so friendly and everyone is so knowledgeable! At the end of October, I needed an oil change. Super easy for booking and affordable, I love being able to do it online! I hung out for a bit in the lounge, made a coffee and it was done in under 45 mins (mind you this was prime busy time, after work around 5pm and I made the appointment on my way over). For the past few weeks, I’ve been seeing a family-recommended mechanic for my front right tire. The air kept escaping but the previous mechanic said they couldn’t find anything. I’ve been worried about blowing out a tire everywhere I go. Today I came into pep boys for an 8am appointment for a new tire, suspension, struts, shocks, and install. They took care of my car, called me for pickup and now my car is driving great! I would recommend this place to anyone just trying to have an easy, smooth car repair experience— they nail all of the marks. Thanks guys!!
