★☆☆☆☆ HORRIBLE! Been using Pepboys for years but the two times I’ve been to this location have been disappointing.First time here, I had to leave my car overnight due to tech needing to leave early, but I was assured I would get a call first thing after opening the next day to keep me updated.I had to call for an update at noon since I was never reached out to. Multiple tests I had done on the vehicle said I needed to replace the purge valve, but when diagnostics were run at this location, they said it wasn’t the purge valve but a pump I needed to replace.6 weeks later, the check engine light comes back on, and after running diagnostics, the parts were faulty, and now a purge valve is needed as well. Diagnostics only last for 30 days, and I wish they had included the purge valve the first time I came in since this is what I had asked for. This is my wife’s car and I told them to fix anything it needed since she uses it every day. When I mentioned this to Roger the Service Manager he was very disrespectful when I asked why this wasn’t found during the initial diagnostic.He threatened to refuse my service. I will continue to use Pep Boys but will never come back to this location.

★☆☆☆☆ It was not closing and we had a blow out we pulled in to pep boys needing help me and two other women!!!! You know when your in the customer service business normally you put your CUSTOMERS FIRST NOT THIS GUY he cared nothing about our tire being on 0 pounds of pressure we had to BEG HIM to put a spare on so we could get to a decent tire shop!! Would not recommend this place to anyone the worst part is the manager is who turned us away saying his system had shut down already if your system shuts down before the time you close maybe you should fix that instead of having customers show up thinking you can help them and then turn them away them away cause you don't feel like taking the time to look for a tire or put one on!!!

★☆☆☆☆ This place is unprofessional and unclean. The waiting area is very uninviting and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. I had an appointment scheduled for 8 AM and after waiting 30 minutes, I went back to the counter and asked the young man how long it would be before they pulled my car back. He then stated that they were going to be shortstaffed that day and that he only had one technician there at the time. The technician that he was referring to spoke up and said yeah it’s just me here for now, but I was told that I would still have to wait another 15 minutes for the other technician to get there for them to start on my car. He was not working on anything. They were just standing there holding a conversation. From there, I asked for my keys so that I can leave. No remedy was given. I ended up leaving and going to another Pep Boys location. They were also short staffed and only had the manager there. Instead of just allowing me to sit there and wait, he went and worked on my car because he said It was his responsibility until his technician was there at 11 o’clock. This was impressive because instead of losing business, he made sure that myself and the other customer that was there were taken care of. He got me in and out in no time. I will never use the Mesquite location again, ever.
