Great customer service. My alternator went out when I was up in Lutsen and they were kind enough to order the part ahead of time so my car was ready to be worked on right away when I arrived with my car on a Saturday. They even stayed a half hour late to finish the repair! Very reasonable pricing and wonderful, hardworking people. If I lived in Duluth I would definitely bring my car there again!

My vehicle broke down north of town as I was trying to get back home to the cities. The tow truck driver said these guys would get me in and take good care of me and I'm glad I listened. They got me right in and provided amazing value. I manage a large shop down in the twin cities and I am glad to see another shop provide this level of service. Shops are given a bad name right off the top and it takes standouts like perfect timing to reverse that trend. Best of luck to you guys and next time I'm in the area I'll swing by and say hi!

Great for if in a pinch. Twice now they've helped me with tire issues. At least this time it wasn't a wrong size tire, this time only needed a plug. First one I didn't notice until looking at paperwork. But for this time in, they did the job quickly and was able to get back to work after picking up a screw somewhere. Grateful for them on this trip as I needed to work.

This place does fantastic work. The owner was able to get my Jeep in and the tech was able to get the radiator leak diagnosed within a few minutes before closing on Friday. They got the parts and had me back on the road by Early Saturday afternoon. The price they had initially quoted was extremely fair for the work being done, and that's right about what I ended up paying. It is rare to find a place that delivers fast, affordable work. For this reason, and their work to get me back in my car on a Saturday, shows me that the owner truly cares about his customers. For anybody wondering about this place, the shop may be small, but the service is wonderful.

What can I say, when I first discovered this business I was looking for tires. They had great deals with great service. During the time I was getting tired they saw I had a broken break line. They gave me a great deal on both the tires and the break line. I have continued to give these guys business not only because of the professionalism and the great deals, but for the honesty and kindness the business has shared towards myself and family. They looked at our vehicle shortly before they were scheduled to close at 3:00 on a Saturday. Turns out we needed new brakes. Even though it was now after 3:00, they drove to two stores (one in Superior) to get parts for our vehicle and install them. We had our 8mo old baby and dog with us, and they were very friendly and accommodating for us. They stayed open an extra couple of hours to make sure we could drive away that day. This business wants to help people get back on the road and my family and I are appreciative of them.

The lower ball joint broke on our truck right on the highway, we were able to be towed almost immediately by get hooked towing. We were able to get right in at perfect timing auto repair on a Saturday (even tho they were pretty busy) they were very knowledgeable and understanding. And we felt very welcomed coming here. they care more about safety than the extra dollar! By far the best repair shop I've ever been to. Best service! Thank you everyone at perfect timing. Hit a pot hole just right and blew a tire before camping. Each employee was attentive, timely, and professional. I got a flat tire late Friday night and needed to drive back home Saturday. When I called other shops in Duluth they made excuses and said I was out of luck or that I would have to drive over and if I were lucky I would be able to get in. Perfect Timing on the other hand got me in right away and had my new tire on within half an hour of calling on a Saturday morning. I cannot recommend them highly enough! The owner is very prompt and the service crew are all friendly and helpful.

I have been to both the Duluth and superior locations of perfect timing and both are very good. The service is professional and kind and the owners are very knowledgeable and good at explaining things. As a young woman you can worry about getting cheated or up charged when it comes to mechanics, but I have never worried about that here.

Yesterday afternoon we were on our way back from Canada towing a boat with our truck when our front brake calipers locked up coming down the hill in Duluth. We pulled into the closest repair shop once we noticed we had an issue which happened to be Perfect Timing. We were greeted by Donnell Jr as we walked in the door. We explained the situation and he said they would determine exactly what was wrong and give us a quote. Donnell Jr was very knowledgeable about the issue,calming and friendly to us. He guided us to the back to park our boat and he drove the truck into the repair garage. We had a quote within 1/2 hour and authorized the work. They were extremely busy yet said they would get us back on the road that evening. They started the work about 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and indicated it would take 3-4 hours to get parts and install them. I noticed the shop closed at 5 pm and asked Nancy how they would get the repair done. She replied they would work after normal business hours to get us back on the road again. We decided to grab a bite to eat and Nancy said she would call us in a few hours with an update on progress. As promised, Nancy called after a few hours and said the repair would be done in about 1/2 hour. She also offered to pick us up at the restaurant we were at and drive us back to the shop. At about 6:20 Chris (the mechanic), Donnell Jr and Nancy were all in the office area as we paid the bill giving us information on the repair and making certain we would check the lug torque after 50 miles on the road from a safety perspective. Darius also worked on this repair after hours to get us on the road. I fully expected to be in Duluth a few days to get this repair done and Perfect Timing got us on the road in about 3 1/2 hours from the time we drove into their lot to the time the repair was done. Their customer service was exceptional. I wish there was a Perfect Timing Auto Repair Shop in our area as that would be where I would go for all my auto repair needs. Awesome job Perfect Timing team and thank you for making a stressful experience a pleasant experience!

Excellent service, very friendly and awesome customer service. I seen the reviews and also heard through word of mouth that this place is very good and really care about you and your vehicle. I can contest to that, my experience with them was very professional and they made me feel like they really cared about me and getting my car I needed for work back on the road asap and they delivered. They had to work all day and did an excellent job on my car and was very fair on pricing after explaining how hard and time consuming the job took to fix my car. I highly recommend this shop if you want honest great work done on your car. I can't say enough how much they helped me. They kept in communication with me throughout the process. It's hard to find good shops like this one nowadays. I have much respect for the owner who's very understanding and an overall nice honest guy. I finally found my new go to shop if I ever need work done on my car in the future. If my friends ever need car repairs I'll definitely be recommending this place. Thank you very much. We stopped here because our car was fish tailing and we wanted to make sure everything was okay before we made the three hour drive to the cities in the snow storm. They were able to get our car in right away. The front desk person was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable in the new waiting room. The owner of the shop was also super helpful and made sure to put our minds at ease by walking through each piece of the diagnostics. Would go here again 10/10.

Called all over and nobody had an opening for days. I called perfect timing and they had an immediate opening to bring my 2 cars in for oil changes and got them done quickly and had great customer service. The guys at the shop were great and Donnell showed up and I talked to him for awhile and he's a great dude that really cares about the community and giving them great service. Not your normal shop that only cares about getting your money. Would highly recommend.

Got a flat and was looking for a place to patch it up! Perfect timing took me in ASAP and fixed it. However, they did tell me that the rest of the tires would need to be replaced very soon, as there were stress cracks in between the tread (pictured below). They gave me a quote for 3 different tires within my price range and, once I made my decision, they were able to schedule me for an appointment the very next day. When I dropped my vehicle off in the morning, they even offered to drive me to work! I love my new tires now!! Perfect Timing is definitely not fancy or luxurious. But it is filled with caring employees who do good work for affordable prices! Definitely will be my go-to auto shop!
