SHORT (less detailed): Pros: convenient Cons: over charged for cheap parts Long turn around times (3-4 days) Rude secretary, VERY VERY condescending Parts will not last long Sketchy repairs with no detailed reports You will be in there a lot repairing your vehicle not even knowing you are getting ripped off. They only care about your money not your car. I highly suggest reading the more detailed review before you consider going here. LONG: To start off, I really didn't want to give this review. As a matter of fact I never give bad reviews, but after my experience here I almost feel obligated to share my review. When I bought my first car I lived in East longmeadow and went to Perron's all the time for oil changes and tine ups. I really liked them and supported them. My car was in one day and out the next. They were really fast with their service and it seemed like a reasonable price. My car is a 2000 Ford explorer so having 135k miles on it I thought nothing of bringing it in once a month or every 2 months to get minor repairs here and there. Eventually these visits added up and I was starting to pay more in repairs than I payed for the car itself. Because of their fast work and friendly front I blocked most of the negative aspects about Perron's. My father suggested I tried out a new mechanic because he felt as if I was getting ripped off. I was reluctant to try a new mechanic but after some thought I went ahead and tried a new mechanic, Delton automotive in South Windsor and I couldn't have mad e a better choice. Delton automotive claimed to me that the parts that were being put in my car as repairs (minor or major) were the cheapest parts on the market. Parts would usually last about four to six months an example being struts that I must have replaced two or three times from Perron's in the first year I had my car. Or the ball joints that went out every four months or so. When my new mechanic put better quality parts on my car I have noticed I RARELY have issues with my car making the drive to South Windsor reasonable. Not only that but I was charged the same price as Perron's if not cheaper. This being said, I stopped going to Perron's and saved a lot of money while having better parts on my car. This decision was a smart choice and I highly recommend avoiding or stop going to Perron's. Few months later, my car broke down right next to Perron's. I went in to ask what it may be based on how I described the problem. The new office manager was rude, condescending and generally not helpful. Another man was in the building with me and he was also complaining to me that after Perron's moved and Dan(the manager) left that Perrons has gone downhill. He said the wait was longer and he spends too much money here, I readily agreed. After that I said I was going to leave. As I was doing so she found me on the system and wrote me up a repair ticket without me even asking her to. She said to bring it in and it would be fixed in five days. I left and promised myself I would never enter that building in my life again. I understand Perron's is a very convenient place to go for those who live in East longmeadow but I highly recommend avoiding Perron's for good.

Our AC was not working properly the entire ride from NY. We called Brian and his team to see if they could help as we are a long way from home. Immediately Brian said, "of course come on down and he would fit us in". As I was there, the entire team was professional, hardworking, honest and very polite. This gesture is greatly appreciated. We would recommend Perron's Automative to whoever is local, or far away from home as we were.

Perron's has always been great to work with. They are very accommodating with scheduling and often are finished before their targeted time! They have always been honest about what work is needed and what to keep an eye on, which is a very trustworthy way to run a shop. I have multiple family members in town who use them for all their vehicle maintenance.

Went to Perron Auto short time ago to have a battery discharging problem fixed. They said it was the alternator and replaced it in a timely fashion and at a fair price. Just recently I noticed my battery light on, so I brought it back to Perron Auto. They checked it out and said the new alternator they installed had become faulty. Well just like they said it’s warranted and they put a new alternator in. I can’t say enough about this place they are great and Anthony and Kathy up front are great to deal with too. Five stars aren’t enough for this place ! Thanks Jim B

I've been going to Perron's since before they moved to this location. They do reliable work and and their prices are beyond fair. The waiting room is incredibly clean and comfortable, and the staff has always been polite. Mechanics generally have a bad reputation, but this is a place that would reverse that opinion.

I've always been very happy with the service. Always straight shooting, good advice, quality work and no bait and switch gimmicks like the chain stores. Today I was even more impressed. I come in with a leak. The place is super busy but they get to my car in just a few minutes, find the problem and discover that while my tire can't be repaired that it's under warranty. Within an hour they get the new tire, call me, fix it in just a few minutes and I'm on my way. This was all small money to them but they went out of their way to make it fast and convenient.

Brian and his crew are honest, caring and just good people. It took me a while to find a mechanic I can rely on and truly trust. I've been using Perron's for 4 or 5 years now and they never steer me wrong. I've dropped cars off thinking I had major issues, sometimes other mechanics have told me I did, only to find out from Perron's that it was something simple or nothing at all. Thanks Guys!

These guys are the best. They got me in quickly, got the job done and at the same time bailed me out. I attempted to do the job myself, got in a jam, and they were still willing to take over for me. Not only that, they finished sooner than expected and the price was right. I also like the fact that they are communicative. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have had several things done by them but when my engine light came they got me in the next day. Found the problem and fixed it. Also helped my husband out with his driver side window that wouldn’t go back up. Went in on a Wednesday and done by Friday. Dealer was 3 weeks out. I also find them very friendly and informative on the service that the vehicle is in for. Would definetly recommend them. 👍

Absolutely AMAZING service I brought my truck to the dealer I got it from they had the truck for 28 days was unable to find time to diagnose it after multiple calls and promises I decided to bring it to Perrons took them a day to diagnose the vehicle having a bad transmission 4 days to fix it when they called and said it was ready I asked if they could do put on new tires and brakes they were able to do both the same day absolutely amazing service

Paid $5000+ and everything was okay up until they gave me my fixed car with a leaking battery in the trunk, the battery acid ate through the cardboard container in which it was held. Once the damage was done it was about $300+. I went back to the mechanic and he said it was my fault somehow despite the battery not tipping over. It was upright the entire time it was causing the damages and likely did those things well before I picked up my car. I wouldn’t have left such a low review if they hadn’t been so dismissive of the damages, I paid $5000+ for their services so I would’ve expected some more accountability. Never coming back here again…
