i phoned before visiting. the gentleman was polite and informative. the reception i received was as expected: they replaced the rear brake pads and honored a costco discount. the gentleman was not pushy, did not upsell, or was 'salesy'. the replacement competed in the timeframe quoted (probably earlier) and i was out the door. this was a good experience. better than the dealers by a long stretch. i'm never going to a dealer to get things done again.

Does anyone know where Armando went? I feel like every since he left the quality of customer service and work on my car has really gone down. I have been a little disappointed the last few times but with this most recent incident, I think ill have to move on unfortunately

I highly recommend this repair shop, I have been coming here for years for oil changes and maintance. They do an excellent job and have reasonable prices. Dont waste your time with dealerships or other shops, come here instead.

Had my vehicle towed here at night while the shop was closed without knowing anything about this place. It has a key drop box which makes it totally convenient for night time incidents. It was suggested by AAA since I needed my car immediately the next day. The next morning I googled this place and to my surprise it has excellent reviews and that convinced me and gave me the confidence to let them proceed with my vehicle. The next day I met Armando and he is the kind of mechanic that anybody would want for their vehicle. I will be coming here from now on.

I'm always pleased with Armando and his staff of mechanics. He always takes the time to explain problems and solutions in language that can easily understood by the non-mechanic. I have been taking my car there for years now and have always been very satisified with the repair and its timely resolution. They get it done right the first time. The Pit Stop always provides excellent service in a friendly professional manner and in a clean environment. I would recommend them as the best in the area!

I had brakes changed on my 4 Runner, had to take it back because the squeaking was horrible. I was told it was normal for Toyotas to do that. They then said I needed new rotors but brakes are still squeaking. Customer service is not good.

After over 10 years, it’s time to write a review. I have at least three very specific times where Pit Stop could’ve gotten any kind of money they wanted from me. Instead, I got instructions. Things to do instead of… Things that actually worked. My last instance, I would’ve gladly paid them for a new engine. However, their experience told them that this was something different and advised me to go to the dealer. Guess who replaced the motor? The dealer!I. Trust. Pit Stop!

We go in here to get work done and the owner or whoever he is always finds something wrong. If it’s not the brakes it’s a sensor. Regardless it’s always over $2k I asked him to send me pictures and he tells me to go somewhere else. They are dishonest!! I have taken vehicles there after just to give the work to a local place and he does the same thing again. It’s very unfortunate. Be very mindful of this place and ask for pictures and ask questions.
