I bought a 2014 Sprinter from them and 20 minutes after I left the dealer the van failed and lost boost, I called them and told them they said to go back they would fix it, I did now they said "It's all done you can go all fixed" I left again after 10 minutes of driving lost boost again went back they said they found the issue and now they will fix properly once again after few minutes of driving again went back for the third time and they said now we would fix for good no worries, I told them I need the truck to move my stuff to south carolina and I need the van to be reliable, "no worries we got you" so they said... I left again I was able to get home the next day i left for my trip long story short the van stopped and no shifting no boost $1800 to town the van to South Carolina from Virginia and another $2000 to fix in the Freightliner dealer in south carolina.... I called them very patiently and told them everything that happened and they told me to bring the truck back to CT to fix I told them they tried to fix 3 times and never did and now they refuse to pay for my loss ...... no worries I got a lawyer in the case we are going to get things straight out sooner or later ...thank you for nothing Nick

Went with my dad for a car he was buying. No frills dealer but got a good deal on a good car. When we arrived they were doing all 4 brakes and rotors which they took to do on their own. Thought it was nice that they were looking at details. Saved my dad some time and money by doing that which I appreciate. Nice job guys would recommend.

To be honest, the buying experience was good at first dealing with Nick. Very friendly. However, I took the 2012 Audi A8L quattro that I purchased to my mechanic and found out that the transfer case and oil pan were leaking. Also, the control arms and swaybar links and bushings were bad. Plus, it needed brakes and rotors front and rear. Nick told me he'd fix the control arms and the leaks and the center brake light. So I made an appointment with him to bring the car back for repairs. After having the car for 2 days, I'm guessing everything that he agreed to fix was done. Took it back to my mechanic, and he showed me nothing was touched! I was shocked and furious. This dealership puts on a friendly face but can not be trusted! Nice cars, but I'm sure most will have major issues. Becareful when dealing with this dealership. I will be reporting them to BBB and N.A.D.A. with the complaint. You've been warned.

Just bought a truck from Platinum. Nick, AJ and Ray were great to work with. I was cautious buying a vehicle 125 miles from home. Nick made sure that the vehicle was delivered to a garage of my choosing for an inspection. They addressed the issues that were identified. The truck was low on fuel. Nick didn't just add enough to get me home, he filled the tank giving me about $100 worth of diesel. That was generous and unexpected. I will definitely be back.

Great overall experience. AJ was quick to respond to my initial email and got the car ready for me to test drive. Was happy with everything i saw, but the carfax said the car had an open recall. He setup the appointment, and got the car recall done under warranty by BMW the next day. Setup all the paperwork, financing, and had car ready with plates on it, ready for pickup a day later. Bought a car from this place and love it. I had the car inspected by a mechanic, and there were some issues with it that are fixable. This is pretty normal when getting used cars. I took it back to platinum auto and they are currently working on repairing these issues for me. After the repairs I will get the car inspected by a mechanic again and if everything is looking good and repairs are done in good time I will update this review to say how it went with pictures of the car too. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. The workers are friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with my car

This is probably the only comment from a real person and not a AI or fake review. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANY CAR FROM THIS PLACE. They sell LEMON cars. Everyday there’s a person coming back complaining about there car and the owner or person running this place lies about them fixing your car. THEY HOLD IT LIKE THERE FIXING IT. BE CAREFUL WHEN GIVING THEM YOUR INFO ALSO.

My boyfriend saw a listing for a truck online from this dealer that was a great price for the condition, mileage and so on. We live almost four hours away from this dealer so it was a trek to get there but the experience was worth it. We worked with Nick the owner, Aj and other workers who were so so helpful and showed true care in making everything work out. Service was incredible and they even insisted on buying us lunch before we made the long trip back home. I will recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. Bought a 2015 Ram 2500 here about a year ago. I’d say nick is a nice guy and is pretty helpful. One thing I do not like is that the truck never went through CT inspection and it never passed and some other small things id think would be checked. Truck was not unsafe and drove pretty well. I’d like to give a higher review because purchasing here is definitely easy and quick but I wish my inspection was completed before purchase it’s been a year now and still aren’t able to pass. I would purchase again from nick for sure he has lots of good options but I don’t feel they are as thoroughly inspected as id wish and I understand you cannot catch everything.

My daughter was shopping for her first pick up truck. (She has a horse ) and found a Dodge ram diesel at their location. She went and looked at it, and the owner was extremely helpful pointed out a few flaws with the truck prior to her, even driving it that he said would be fixed. She drove the truck, but unfortunately, we did not purchase a truck from them. It was nothing on their end, they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My husband purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD from them two months ago and I am loving it. Ray and Nick are very pleasant and very honest people to work with. Honorable and repatriable dealership and employees is really the only thing I would need to say. But from start to finish everything was smooth and straightforward. I bought my car sight unseen and that can be worrisome but Assad was great with anything I needed from paperwork to extra photos and videos. I received the car very quickly and effortlessly with a polite and respectable delivery driver. They offer a 30 day thousand mile warranty and not seeing the car or looking it over prior. I had my mechanic out of state because I purchased the vehicle from the dealership out of state look over the vehicle and found a few issues that needed to be addressed and fixed. So I notified The dealership and owner and they agreed with me to pay for the parts under warranty, even though they like to handle everything in house but were very understanding that I was several states away and holding true to their word they refunded me the money for the parts and just by doing that Anybody looking for a vehicle should go to Platinum Auto to make the purchase from a reputable dealership with great service and pricing.

I must say I have a dislike for car dealerships especially being a woman. But when I contacted Platinum Auto Care about a VW Beetle. From the moment I spoke to AJ I felt like this was the place I was going to purchase my daughter’s dream car. I had spoke to a lot of dealerships while looking for a VW beetle, but none of them left me feeling confident in buying from them. AJ was very educated on VW cars and as a VW owner already he showed me how knowledgeable he was on the make. When I tell you the beetle was in pristine condition! From the outside to the inside. I did a carfax and a bumper check. There were no warnings that came up on the vin. I took a almost 3 hour drive to see this car. Ray was our salesman. When we arrived the car was blocked by other cars and he moved it out of its spot and put dealer plates on it and handed me the keys. He told me test drive it and take my time. So me and my daughter took it for a spin. I drive like the New Yorker I am and not one light came up on the dashboard. Not one issue arose! At that moment I knew we stumbled across a gem. Ray was very kind and worked with us. I paid for the car outright. AJ is the kindness and most professional person I’ve encountered in a long time while purchasing a car. He made sure everything was squared away and we were happy! If you are looking for a great car check them out! Remember used cars aren’t perfect but they definitely are meticulous about the cars they sale. My daughter will always remember Ray & AJ because they made her dream of owning a VW Beetle (A rare one too) a reality!! I’ll be back soon for another car!
