This shop has customer service like I’ve never experienced before! They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond in all ways. Definitely one of the BEST mechanics in Reno. If you need a mechanic look no further because these guys are the ones you want.

Love this place! Got my first scooter here. It was a used one and turned out to have a mechanic problem, but I brought it back and Kory fixed it on the spot! No charge. Lots of integrity at this family establishment.

In my opinion this place needs to be closed immediately! They just scammed me out of $900 for NOTHING! As a business owner myself, their poor lack of communication and honestly disgusts me ! Don't let Jason's nice ness in the beginning full you! It's a front for poor service and scamming practices! Now a days when it comes to a mechanic it's hard to trust anyone, and it's sad that this place is just added to that list!! TRUST ME, YOU CANT TRUST THIS PLACE! I will never ever do business with this place, ever! They need to be stopped, from what I see on these reviews I'm not the only one that was scammed out of money from these clowns! The way you and your wife run your business is not professional! Trust me when I say your shop isn't going to last.

I went window shopping in there I told him what I was looking for he walked me around and showed me what he had.his staff was very oriented to their work but made me feel very welcome. That had been some time ago but I never forgot. These folks are the closest thing to SRK cycles of YouTube lore. And they’re local!!!! I be been fence riding for a long time- riding my first bike; it’s getting close!! This shop will be a part of that experience!! I’m looking forward to it!!!

Worst experience of my life. Fraudsters, liars and cons. Will do a terrible job and charge top dollar. Go some where else that's corporate it will save you the headache. My experience : being told I was waiting to get a " Brand New "part that's why it took so long to finish the bike. A month later there's no New part but it's fixed and charged as if there was a new part due to time and labhor....good ol bait and switch

Extremely pleased with the shop, they went out of their way to help get my bike running again, best of all is they are one of the only ones in the area who will do pickup and deliveries of your equipment. Did I mention they're pricing is much more friendly compared to other shops.

Jason and celia are Absolutely amazing I took my 2003 R1 there and had them rebuild the motor and jason was fantastic. He did a wonderful job and made sure my bike did not leave his shop untill he was 100% happy with every little detail. And celia is amazing very welcoming and always makes me feel like family. I ended up laying my bike down and doing a number on it and of course i call them and they have been beyond amazing this time. Very very fair with price and like always jason has gone above and beyond with fixing it always making sure the little things that matter most are done. And the feeling like family continues with the little thing like remembering my kids names and stoping and taking time away from work to answer silly kid questions over and over with a smile. I will never take my bike anywhere else. Thank you poor boys for being so amazing!!!

Last year I needed some work done on my bike after a buddy laid it down. The headlight unit needed to be replaced, the speedo needed to be remounted, I needed new front brake lines installed, a taillight, and most importantly I needed my front rim replaced. The rim was dented right where the tire bead sets which is extremely dangerous. I brought them all the parts necessary, including the new rim, and they told me they'd have it done in 2 or 3 days. It took them a little past a week to get all the work done, which was baffling due to the ease of required work, but, whatever. I'm stoked to be back on it so I don't make a big deal. I pick up my bike, start riding home and proceeded to almost run a red light!! I got zero feedback from my front brake. No stopping power whatsoever. Front brake lever completely depressed, and still rolling... I turned around, and told them what happened. They bled the lines and refilled them after claiming the brake lines I brought them wern't the right size for my bike. (I ordered them from Speigler direct, and I know for a fact they were the right size. Still have the reciept confirming it.) About a week later I come outside to go for a ride and guess what I notice? A dent right where the tire bead sets on my front rim... turns out I had been ripping around on the same rim they were suppose to replace.. I called them to tell them what happened, and the lady who runs the front end told me that replacing the rim was never part of the work order... A few things... Switching the rim was far and away the most important piece of work that needed to be done, I told her about the reciept I had for the rim, and the work order copy I had that clearly stated replacing the rim. I asked her why I would bring a new rim if it wasn't part of the work order? And if it wasn't part of the work order, why was the total bill over $600 for mounting a headlight, a speedo, a taillight, and replacing brake lines? She doesn't acknowledge any of it and immediately claims they don't have the rim... I'm 2 mins down the street in my truck as we're talking on the phone, so I stop by and find my rim in a corner of their shop under some empty boxes. Turns out I'm right (duh), and she has the audacity to tell me that they aren't going to charge me for the work when I bring it in! (remember that I already paid for it!?) At this point I'm furious but I don't argue because I'm getting what I wanted anyways. I'm not the reviewing type by any means, but they have a 4.1 star rating on Google and that just didn't sit well with me so I'm telling my story.. BOTTOM LINE: Pay someone more to do better work, getting your bike fixed or serviced at poor boy is dangerous.

Great Job! Jeff and Marc were excellent to do business with. These guys have a garage overflowing with bikes, etc and got my tire and a carb adjustment done on my VTX in 5 hours because they said they would. Stand up follow through guys. Jeff kept his word and Marc was very professional and knowledgable. I Highly recommend Poor Boy!!!!!

Took my bike in to have my carburetors to be adjusted took 3 weeks to get in done. Had no communication what so ever . They did not do a good job on the bike. And the worst of all is the lady in the office was very rude. She has no business skills at all or customer relations. And to top it all of it was over price. This was the worst experience I ever had. Do not take your motorcycles to this place.

Friendly staff, excellent communication with the status of my motorcycle repair, and reasonable prices. PooR Boy Motorcycle Mechanic was able to find parts, for my bike, that I was not able to find on my own - which made it very less stressful for me at the end of the day. If you ride a motorcycle, I highly recommend choosing PooR Boy for your maintenance and repair needs.

Terrible experience, so I rode my bike to burning man and had it parked on the Playa all week, very bad decision as the dust is bad for everything on a bike. Ut after the festival my bike started and died 30 seconds later and I couldn't get it going. So needles to say I rented a truck and took it to town. I called around a few shops and everyone was backed up at keqar a month. That's the only reason I took it to poor boy ND the only reason they get a one star. First they WAY over charged me for doing next to nothing. The charged me an hour for washing my bike and it looked like they just hosedit off for 5 minutes. Anyone who spends an hour washing a bike should have it looking cherry. But whatever, anyway all they ended up doing was cleaning my fuses iff. U asked them if they just cleaned them or replaced them? They just took them out and cleaned them. Fuses are so cheap why not just put new ones in there? It ended up being almost $700, for a hose off and fuse cleaning. I'll give it to them , they got it back to me in a week. But I was so mad when they told me how much it was I rode away and noticed they didn't put my 1/4 fairing back on. I didn't even call or go back. So if you want to pay way too much for work that looks like your tweaker frie d would do at the dope house. Bring it here. Would not recommend

Took my bike in for an oil change after being quoted at 89.00 plus the cost of oil and filter. When went to pick up my bike I was handed a bill for $347.60. I was actually charged $227.85 for labor....a far cry from the original quote!! I was also told my bike was test driven ??? Really don't think that was necessary for just a simple oil change.....hmmmmm

These guys do great work at a great price! They resealed my forks at a fraction of the cost of other mechanics and did it in just one day too. They are friendly and responsive. I'll be back for any other motorcycle needs. Cannot recommend them enough!

This place is a complete joke and a big rip off ! Don’t bring your bike here unless you want to get screwed! You will if you bring it here. They charged me $2400 to fix a a broken wire and jet my bike, I live in Yerington and it barely made it home, now I have to tow the bike to the dealership and see what they did to it ! Gas is dripping out of the exhaust, barely starts, don’t idle, they did me dirty big time. Don’t bring nothing here they can’t fix anything, I would give them zero stars if I could. Totally ripping people off big time The guys and this shop is a huge POS ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

I ride a 2009 HD FLTR - Bought new on 08/08/2008 Through Golden Gate Harley Davidson Corte Madera California. Picked up scoot at Freson Harley Davidson, Fresno CA. My experience here is that they got me into their shop on their off day. Stan wrote me an agreed work order at the shop rate of $147 per hour. 1. Compression check 2. Leak down test. 3. Install one new rear cylinder spark plug 4. Drain crank case oil (no new filter) add 4 quarts oil. **Leak down test was not performed. I was relived that there were no mechanical issues found with my engine. The next day (Tuesday) around 11am I was very happy to be riding my FLTR back to Sonoma County. Total invoice $216.44

Do your research before doing business with these guys I should have read reviews and now i regret it!! They charged 600$ in labor for 1 motorcycle tire replacement!!! prior to this promised me that it would not take any longer than 1.5 hours at 147$ dollars an hour in labor. 800+$ total for 1 tire(TIRE COST 250 OUT THE DOOR) and kept my bike for 5 days! Then they had the audacity to bride me 50 dollars off the price to leave a good review! I will never do business with these dishonest guys again! Literally I don't even have to say anything bad because the truth speaks for itself!

Poor Boy, THE WORST! They've worked on my 50cc scooter, never got the idle correct. The gas tank was leaking all over my garage, and never did that before they touched it. Paid them over $1000 for all the "supposed" repairs. Then purchased a 650 Suzuki Burgman...Never got the title. Finally had to take them to small claims court. Spoke with the owner repeatedly, first it was an auto wrecker's fault, then it was his wife's fault, then is was someone else's fault. They left the Suzuki in my garage for 3 years. Never once did anyone at Poor Boy reach out to say, hey we cannot get the title. They got the Suzuki because a guy didn't pay his bill, then sold it to me. I wouldn't deal with them.

I bought a used motorcycle that rode but rode rough and did not corner as it should. I took my bike to Poor Boy for inspection of this issue and an overall inspection/repair of the entire bike to ensure it was safe and road worthy. This was the second week of January and I got it back the end of April. I was promise it back "by the end of the week" for almost 2 months before receiving it at over twice the quoted amount. I paid it just to get my bike back. As I was test riding it, I discovered that my speedometer was missing. I went back the next morning and asked the owner about. He told me my speedometer did not fit the front end he put on my bike. Okay. I need a speedometer. He commenced to tell me he would need to research to "figure out" what could be done. I never heard back from him. I went to another shop, took about 5 minutes to look up the speedo and get it ordered. While there, the owner found some wiring that had not been hooked back up. When I got my bike home, I started to lock it and discovered Poor Boy had CUT OFF the LOCKING TAB on my motorcycle frame. Why would they do that? That just makes it easy to steal! I was riding it this evening and the shifter fell off. My gorgeous front fender was replaced by Poor Boy with a cheap, BROKEN fender. The front wheel was put on with a broken seal on the right side as well as a broken O-ring. The clutch is so loose it is almost useless. The left-hand mirror was upside down. Who knows what else i am going to find? I would rate them a zero if I could.
