My brakes were making a grinding noise, so I took my vehicle here to be checked. Well, they had to end up replacing all brakes, rotor, drums, and hosing on the rear, plus they discovered my left tire rod was so bad that it was almost disintegrated. Well, after all that and they kept me informed during the whole process, I was surprised that the cost was so reasonable. I would definitely recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Pope Tire Garage on Dual Highway!

Had an issue with my Kia not blowing ac or heat(was not continuous, would turn off and on ). Had 2 separate people that knows what they are talking about saying the fuse for the blower motor was melted. Sent a picture to Kia said the same thing. My Kia warranty ran out literally 2 weeks prior. Got told to bring to pope tire Kristy would be able to help figure out if I can get it fixed through warranty from where i purchased vehicle. Their so called master mechanic looks at it and says the fuse is perfectly fine nothing is wrong. I have to pay $100 . The next day the ac shuts off. I call and say “you told me nothing is wrong with this but clearly there is an issue. I just wanted information about the warranty not for you to try and fix”. Kristy then informs me well electrical isn’t usually covered by warranty. So why not tell me that first instead of wasting money trying to figure out if it would be covered? If you already know the answer why make me leave my car there all day and pay $100 when you could have told me over the phone. Then have the nerve to ask me if I wanna bring my car in and have them fix the problem. You don’t even see anything wrong what could you have fixed? Now fast forward that part has been fixed and many people that know vehicles can’t actually believe they said nothing is wrong with it. Would not recommend anyone to go here .

A wonderful experience here at pope tire, they allowed me to purchase my own part needed to fix my truck and to be delivered there as well. They allowed my truck to be towed there and to sit in the lot for days while I went on the search for the part I needed. They fixed it in a very timely fashion of only a few hours which was great for the fix that was needed. The ladies at the front desk one being Shaun was super kind, helpful and informative with me my whole experience. They made very well sure that I was professionally taken care of and informed of every step of the process. I wish I could give them a 10 star review because they deserve it!!!

Today I walked into popes on Dual Highway and received the most disrespectful greeting from the woman working at the front desk. I was inquiring about a storage and her blatant disrespect towards my questions was unprofessional, discriminatory and disregarded. Per her and I discussion renting a storage I had come to the conclusion that she did not want a woman of color business. She also advised me that the owner would only consider renting to seekers for 6months. She stated that the owner would generally keep the deposit if the contract of 6months was not met . Now in all my years of renting storage units I never heard of a mandatory 6months of $250 per month requirement. They also have you feel out an application for availability. To all my people do not give them your business.

I went to the pope tire warehouse for the wheel alignment They clearly tried to rip me off they said we have to do a diagnostic test for $100 I said I don't need it I just need wheel alignment. When they took my car they said we have replaced so many parts and they gave me price $2,125.34 that is crazy. Nothing wrong with my brand new car. I advise people to be very careful, they are scammer.

Do not go to this place especially if you have nice new wheels, they bent one of my brand new wheels putting tires on the wheels and refused to take accountability for it. Terrible selfish people here smh. So sad a company that big can't take accountability for their actions!!!!

5 Stars Immediately. I generally do not do reviews however I am making an expection for Pope Tire. I got my safety inspection for a new vehicle at Pope in July. There was a clerical error in the paperwork that was causing issues with the MVA issuing my tags. I called Pope Tire and in the same day the corrected the error and updated my inspection. I had been dealing with some really bad customer service at the dealership I purchased my vehicle from but Pope Tire and their employees were so quick, so kind and displayed great customer service it helped alleviate my stress. I remember Pope Tire when there was only one location on Frederick St. Pope Tire was the go-to for my best friends when we were broke single moms and just need 1 tire. We would go to Pope Tire. Then they opened a new location on Virginia Avenue which is so convenient. Now that I am no longer broke I go there to get all 4 tires changed lol. Thanks so much for all the great experiences over the years Pope Tire!

Five-Star treatment! Called for an emergency tire replacement after running over the same curb I did a few months ago (pitiful, I know), when they had to sledgehammer the rim in order to fix it. Same thing today, except MUCH more damage to the rim. Nonetheless, they got me in and out in 45 minutes—and the lovely, wonderful front office ladies are just that..lovely and wonderful. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back for the that new wheel I’ll soon need.

Absolutely disgusting business practices. I'll capitalize the important words: DO NOT GO HERE. Vehicles get VANDALIZED and they take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it at all. Our vehicle was supposed to be done in 2 days. They had it for 6. We called every morning including the day our catalytic converter was supposedly STOLEN - we don't know because the STORY KEEPS CHANGING. There's no way they didn't know the second they moved it into the garage.. They even filed a police report and then DIDN'T INFORM US WHEN WE CALLED. They waited until after they did the work (AC compressor) we brought it in for and then tried to CHARGE US FULL PRICE for parts and labor TO REPLACE THE CAT TOO - their reason being a A SMALL SIGN that was apparently posted on their door that frees them of ANY RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever of anything that HAPPENS TO YOUR PROPERTY WHILE IN THEIR POSSESSION - they conveniently don't point it out or have to sign anything saying you agree to these terms. We asked the guys in the garage to show us where it was cut out and they literally LAUGHED AT US and said we could have it straight piped since THERE WAS ENOUGH PIPE LEFT on either end to do so. We left to talk to the police to try to get a hold of what happened since at this point we had gotten so many different versions of what happened (it was stolen Saturday, it was stolen Sunday, they had security footage, they didn't have security footage, multiple vehicles were hit, ours was the only one, they found out yesterday, they found out this morning, etc). All we found out is that when Pope Tire told us this only happened once 3 years ago, that was a lie.. THE POLICE SAID VEHICLES ARE VANDALIZED AT POPE TIRE REGULARLY - THATS WHY THEY HAVE THAT SIGN NOW AND DONT POINT IT OUT TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS.. and by the time we got back to Pope Tire, they had CLOSED EARLY. When I came the next morning to pay them for the work they (supposedly) did with no argument about it on my end, they REFUSED to take my credit card or to GIVE MY KEYS BACK TO MY VEHICLE. We had to CALL THE POLICE AGAIN and suddenly their card reader was magically working. The woman ACCUSED US of being shady with the reasoning that we left our vehicle parked in their back lot for a week - WHERE THEY TOLD US TO PARK IT and then LITERALLY THREW MY KEYS AT ME and we left. When we got it home, we saw that THE REST OF THE PIPES WERE COMPLETELY CUT OFF by the time they ALLOWED us to take our vehicle back making it near impossible to get it fixed. AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. DO NOT GO HERE.

I recently purchased 4 new tires for my SUV and I was very pleased with how helpful they were here. Jeffrey was more than happy to listen to what I needed and he recommended tires for me. Shawn was willing to answer any of my questions while I waited for my tires to be placed on my SUV. Everyone was very helpful. The prices were very reasonable and the service was faster than I expected. They recommended a front end alignment but did not pressure me to have that done at this time. Budget concerns will cause me to have this service performed at a later date. My experience was very pleasant and I will return her to have other services performed on my vehicles. Everyone I interacted with were polite and friendly.
