The Portillo brothers took care of me big time. I am a former member of the US Coast Guard and I was on a volunteer mission to help with the devistation of hurricane Ian. They literally fixed my truck and gave me a substantial discount for my volunteer efforts. You can't put a price on humility and especially when it's comes to mechanics in South Florida. Thanks bros.

I recently have met and hired Ed, and his brother Arlan, to complete 2 jobs... One of the jobs was an exhaust system repair, and the other was an A/C repair. Both times I was treated fairly, and professionally. Arlan did a fantastic job on the A/C for my 2006 Chevy Silverado. It blows ice cold, and his price was amazing. I had taken my truck to another shop that didn't even look at the A/C and automatically told me that right out of the gate I would be spending over $1,000. However, after purchasing the parts and hiring Arlan to complete the job, I spent only about half for completely new parts, and labor. I will continue to use Arlan and Ed at Portillo Automotive for anything that they can handle.

My engine light came on and it was flashing, Portillo auto repair was recommended by a friend and they were close by therefore I decided to give them a try. Edwin was very nice and adjusted me to his schedule to diagnose the car. He was able to fix it and the car is running fine now. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish he communicated with me a little bit more through text or call. I do recommend him, and his prices are fair.
