Not enough room here to fully express my gratitude for Precision Auto Works of Arlington, Washington. We are Canadian cross border travelers who stumbled upon them during an urgent situation where we had to get off the highway, while en route to a medical appointment in Seattle. I have to single out for specific praise, Tyler and Mateo, who not only accommodated us on extremely short notice, but also helped us to book a rental car that came and picked us up at the shop! You always pray that in situations of emergent automotive need and vulnerability, that there are still shops like this one….as well as honest, ethical staff who are such a credit to their profession. These guys are fantastic! I felt heard and treated honestly, which as a female doesn’t happen often in auto repair. Very respectful and friendly. RJ did an amazing job on my truck and found a way to replace my bumper on a bumper that has been discontinued by Toyota. He made it happen and for that I will be a life long customer. This was a scheduled appointment. It took them four hours to replace two fan belts! They never got around to fixing my fog light. It took them one and a half hours to remove one door panel and put it back. My friend did it in 15 minutes. I ended up paying $514.34. This should’ve taken no longer than one hour, $250 max! Stopped in to get a quote on tint matching my front windows. Sami helped me right away and squeezed me in immediately after a quick look. After an hour, tints were done and truck looks great. She took the time to explain how to properly care and clean the new tint. Very happy to have stopped in and I have a few planned projects I think they may be able to help me in the future. Precision Auto Works did some manifold gasket repairs, replaced the original down pipe, and muffler for my 1977 FJ40 TOYOTA Land Cruiser. The repairs were done recently from 11-18-24 thru 12-6-24 due to parts needing to be ordered. I am so grateful to have found their shop because they did an amazing job. Spoke with Levi, Sammy, and Jerry their mechanic throughout the whole process & they were great in communicating, providing update information, price information, and customer service. Super friendly & professional. Totally happy with the experience there & the service they provided. Great service! I recently had my car towed to their shop. It ended up needing major repairs (head gasket). They were quick to diagnose and gave me an accurate quote up front. They surprised me with how fast the repair took place. They communicated throughout the project and completed everything within their quote! I’m very pleased with their service. I brought my car to this shop because it was burning oil, and they said they would check it out. After they had my car for over two weeks, I ended up with a $600 bill for replacing the O2 sensor and spark plugs/wires. Then they told me I needed to spend another $1,200 to replace the timing chain. Feeling uncertain, I went to a different shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the timing chain was not the issue at all. I am disappointed in the misdiagnosis, the unnecessary expense, and the excessive time they took with my car. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.★☆☆☆☆ 2 months ago

Got my oil changed somewhere else 3 months after precision auto works changed my oil and found that precision auto works had cut the splash plate/mud guard under the car with a knife to access the oil drain plug. The oil filter and drain plug they installed were not tight either, according to my new oil change tech. It was also very questionable as to whether they even changed the oil. I drive a 4 year old car and the oil was pretty dark for 3,000 miles. $100 oil change scam I would stay away from this business. No integrity and not professional.★☆☆☆☆ 3 months ago
