I went to the Percision on Mercer. My check engine light came on and the car was running rough. They got me up and running on a Saturday! Other places I tried were closed or unable to do diagnostics. Only downside is we had to wait a little bit, but it was worth it to have the car fixed and ready the same day! Price was really reasonable for what they did to the car too.

About 8 months ago my 2001 Chevy Tahoe was pulled to the precision tune in Macon Ga. My key ignition locked and they were supposed to have it done by close of business. I ended up having my vehicle towed from there to get it repaired somewhere else. The owner and his wife treated me like a criminal and a second class citizen. Definitely one of my worst experiences with a car repair shop. I should have took heed to the reviews.

Worst Auto Service Experience – Mercer University Drive, Macon GA I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience with this location has been so unprofessional and frustrating that I feel obligated to share. My vehicle arrived at the Mercer University Drive shop on June 24th, and over a month later, it’s still unresolved due to poor communication, repeated misdiagnoses, and mishandling of repairs. We were told the issue might be bad gas, then later that the spark plugs were fouled—after being told hours earlier they were fine. Multiple times we were told the car would be ready “tomorrow,” and on July 1st, I even left work early (losing income) to pick it up, only to find it still wasn’t ready—with no advance notice from the shop. They broke parts during the repair process, including a wire harness and lost a transmission drain plug, which caused more delays. We constantly had to chase down updates. The manager Carlos admitted he was new and that the original technician had been fired mid-repair. On July 14th, we were told the car needed a new transmission and were assured we would not be charged for the previous work. They claimed a warranty claim had been submitted—but nearly a week later, we found out no claim had ever been filed. When questioned, the manager claimed he had called our warranty company on a Saturday… which is when they are closed. Eventually, we were told a district manager named Annette would call us. She didn’t reach out until several days later, and when she did, her tone was dismissive and unhelpful. She contradicted what the manager and supervisor had told us and demanded payment for prior work before the claim could move forward. This has been the most unprofessional, stressful, and disappointing service experience I’ve ever had. I strongly caution others before trusting this company with your vehicle

Never use them people again listen to me.i took my car for a starter replacement wheel bearing replacement and lower control arms They had my car for a week got my car back and my whole right axle fell off not only that they broke my wheel hub didn’t tell me my car was leaking brake fluid I couldn’t stop so the next they took it back they called Themselves fixing it again Got my car back Thursday made a store run next thing my car was on the ground tire off My Steering column was broken Really could’ve lost my life The people that they have working there now are goofy they are careless and childish the man that towed my car had a ball joint that fell off a crown Vic two days before this happened with my car just A month ago I was in the same precision and a lady came back because she said her car had no oil And then they try to blame it on me but my lawyer will be contacting them real soon do not trust them with your car

After my daughters lug bolts broke on her car during a road trip an hour away from home. Mr. Allan and Mr. James (from another location) were incredibly amazing with their help. They showed us exactly what happened and got the car fixed quickly. I never felt like we (2 women) were being taken advantage of, even when we were frustrated and overwhelmed with the car being broken...again shortly after having a pricey fix a couple months ago. If it wasn't so far from home I would definitely come back for future repairs.

We were from out of town and had to use them for am emergency repair. The gentleman before us was frustrated because they put a wrong part in his vehicle. After waiting for over half the day, we paid almost $900 for their "repair". They changed out all the cylinders but it still didnt fix the problem. When we got back to Atlanta, we had TWO mechanics check our car out only to find the work Precision did was NEVER needed. They took total advantage of us. That really hurt us financially.

Today I had an outstanding experience at Precision. I brought my car in for what I thought might be a bigger issue, but the mechanics quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Carlos and Charles were professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping me rather than just making money. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and generosity these days.
