Used to be a 5 star, trustworthy and friendly place. New owners came and clearly only care about profit as they replaced the exceptional front staff and the last 2 times I've been for regular maintenance I've gotten the usual "upsale" pitch trying to get me to spend buckets of money on unnecessary things. Fortunately there's better places right down the street so I won't be coming back after being a loyal customer before.

Nice enough people but the cost to replace a battery is out of control. Save yourself money and go to Advance, Auto Zone, O'Reilly, Napa, literally anywhere else that sells batteries and install yourself. Oh and they locked my radio so I have to unhook the battery to reset it. All in all, not my best experience with them.

They are nice people here, but can’t do an alignment. I purchased their Groupon for an alignment since my steering wheel was slightly off. After I left it was more off and crooked now. Just look at the pic. I’ll get another alignment to fix their alignment when I visit the dealership for my next oil change. They had to have seen this when they returned my jeep to me. I noticed it quickly after leaving, but when they can’t even do an alignment correctly and make the steering wheel more crooked, it makes me uncomfortable to return to them to try to straighten the alignment once again when they couldn’t do it correctly the first time.

I lost an alternator in front of their business location in Farragut (died at the entrance). Their employees helped me get the car moved into their parking lot, diagnosed the issue and had everything replaced and back running by the following afternoon. Very quick service. Repair appears to be well done and vehicle is again serviceable. Good customer service. Estimate on the front end matched the out of the door amount. Had them do a few other items while they had it. Definitely deserving of 5 stars.

Precision Tune took great care of my daughter’s car this week. She needed several items taken care of; oil change, new filter, tires rotated and new rear breaks. They got us in the same day I called. I went to have my oil changed. A friend of mine had recommended it to me. She said the staff was friendly and did excellent work on her car. As a woman, I am fearful of being taken advantage of at auto shops. I noticed with all the men getting their oil changed, one of the mechanics would come in with their air filters to show them the state they were in. Asking if they want to get ahead and have them replaced or not. However, when it was my turn, the man at the desk informed me that both my engine air filter and cabin air filter were clogged. I had replaced my cabin air filter myself two weeks ago, so I knew something was off. I replaced the engine air filter not too long ago as well. I told him I could do it myself and asked for that service not to be done that day. I found it odd that they didn't bring in my air filters like they had with all the other customers. Probably, because they were not clogged. When I got home, I checked the air filters to be safe, and they were not very dirty at all. From what I can tell, the work they did replacing my drive belt and doing my oil change was well done. However, after that instance, I'm not sure how trustworthy they are. I am attaching photos of the cabin air filter they said was clogged.

I came in for an oil and filter change and was recommended to get a brake fluid and power steering fluid change. It had been a few years since those fluids were changed and I approved the added changes. I think that was needed and I was happy to have it done. Also I had a drivers side head lamp adjusted that I had improperly installed a few days ago. Very pleased and at a fair price.

I had a very disappointing experience at this shop with a wheel alignment service. About three weeks ago, I brought in my car for an alignment. After the service, I noticed the steering wheel was not centered — it was tilted to the right. I returned the next day, and the shop told me they had corrected it. However, this time the steering wheel was tilted to the left. I came back a third time, and after more adjustments and a test drive, they said everything was aligned properly. I asked them if recent work done around the suspension would require re-alignment, and they told me it was not necessary. Despite three visits, the steering wheel still didn’t feel right. While driving on the highway, the car consistently pulled to the right, and I noticed that in rainy conditions, the car felt unstable — which I found concerning for my safety. Recently, I discovered extremely uneven wear on the front tires. One tire was so worn on the inside that the steel cords were showing, which, in my opinion, could pose a serious safety risk. This level of wear developed in just 2–3 weeks after the alignment. I went back to the shop to share what I had found, but they stated they were not responsible. To get a second opinion, I took the car to Big O Tires, where they inspected the alignment and tire condition. Based on their report, the alignment appeared to be off, and they could not find any major suspension issues that would explain the wear. For reference, my car has only 32,000 miles on it. When I brought this evaluation back to the original shop, they maintained their position and did not accept responsibility. In my personal experience, I did not receive the quality of service I expected, and I was left with serious tire damage and concerns about safety. I would personally not return to this shop or recommend it based on how things were handled.
