I would give this repair shop a minus 100 if I could. Started last year on the third of March, my engine went out and I located this repair shop. The mechanic charged me $1100.00 for a rebuilt engine (supposedly) and from day one I have had problems with it, the oil continued to leak so I took it back several time so he could repair the problem. That never happened, he blamed it on everything including the distributor, so I received a new one of those (supposedly). When Tony replaced the distributor on my car I was leaving the repair shop and about half a block away my car started to accelerate on its own, I hit my brakes and they would not respond, so what I had to do is use my emergency brakes and hit my brakes at the same time. This stopped my car and I was able to pull into a gas station on Pulaski and Ogden, my trans was racing even though it was in park. I phoned Prestige Auto and told Tony what had happened and where I was;he came to the gas station removed the hose and pulled out a piece of rubber, (a ring or washer), not sure what they call it. A couple of days later my car was still running badly, my car would rev when I started it, and continue to rev through out my ride. Every time I took my car into Tony nothing ever changed, I would try to call him on the phone and no one would ever answer. This mechanic is totally incompetent, he is a alley mechanic with a shop. My transmission will now be shot because of this person's handling of my repairs. You might asked why I continued to go to this auto repair shop, well he put in my engine and if i were to venture to another mechanic and something went wrong then he could refuse to work on my engine. I am going to the state attorney office and file a complaint on this repair shop. I suggest anyone looking to get some work done on their cars go somewhere else. One one final thing, I took my car in one last time, Tony said that he had order a new distributor for my car-he lied, my car set outside his repair shop for a week and nothing was done, when I questioned him about why the repairs had not been done he blamed any and everyone but himself, so when I finally had enough I went to the shop and demanded that he get the part and give me my car that was on a Friday and by Tuesday I had my car,( I believe this was done because my warranty was soon to expire) and not only was no noticeable work done but he connected my hose to my engine with tape. This place is terrible, DO NOT THROW YOUR GOOD MONEY AFTER BAD MONEY TO THIS CHEAT. The pictures of my last repair is posted, this shop is horrible.
