Would not recommend, prices are high, service is bad and they don’t guarantee their work. Go down 2 blocks for better service and prices. I would not recommend and wouldn’t let them touch any vehicle. Learn from my mistakes and go somewhere else

I recently had my car's oil changed at Auto Repair. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Moreover, the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in providing quality service. The waiting area was uncomfortable and unkempt, Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend [Auto Repair31st] for anyone seeking a reliable and efficient oil change service.

Great work. Very sociable staff. A terrific display collection of toy model cars in the main office. Was able to watch the work on my car muffler system. Shop was recommended by my loner mechanic who was not equipped to so this work.

Dropped my blue German mustang off here unaligned and down bad. Threw everything I could at it & after 3 months with heavy usage the work is still holding up impressively. charged me a fair price too , if they’d work on older cars they’d have all my money !

I've never liked going to an auto shop. The experience is usually stressful. I am always unsure of how much I will have to pay overall and I never know how long things will take. I called 31st Auto Repair on a Saturday in hopes they could fit me in for an oil change. They were pleasant over the phone and told me to bring my car in when I could. An hour later, I was seated in their nice waiting room. I waited about 30 minutes before they told me my car was ready. In all honesty, I was a little embarrassed to bring my car in the condition it was in. It had been towed recently and I had yet to wipe the numbers off the windshield. After paying a reasonable price for my oil change, I found the car had the number's wiped off for me. It was a small detail but it added to the wonderful overall experience. I definitely recommend this shop and will be coming back.

I have difficult time trusting car repair shops due to past experiences. Especially the chains like Midas and Firestone, who charge you an arm and a leg for small repairs, by replacing unnecessary parts, and charging very high labour charges. I got my car repaired from 31st Auto repair recently, and they are pretty honest people. Treated me very well and the charges were very reasonable. I will definitely go to them going forward for all my repairs, and will also recommend my friends to go there. Very transparent and superb service.

I have been to 31st Auto about 4-5 times over the few years. Oil changes and major body works due to car accidents, etc. Each time I received excellent service, honest and worth the price. With all the competitive auto shops around, reliable and honest pricing is my main concern when choosing which auto shops to go to. This is my go to shop!

I brought my car over to 31st auto repair because I was recommended by a family member but all I got was bad attitude and bad service. I first took the car to get it fixed in February however the piece that got installed flew out during the high way two months afterwards. (which could have caused a bad accident) I brought the car back to the shop and told them about it and all I got as an answer is that they said it’s not their fault and that it was my fault because I must have hit something. It does not make any sense because it is the inner fender splash shield that flew out of the the car, there’s no way it can hit something inside the car in that specific position. It must not have been installed correctly and the lady said that if it were to fly out, it should’ve flew out immediately. I left the car there for two days, just for them to refuse service. I did not ask them to fix it for free, I was only requesting them to fix it again but they refused to. I was willing to pay. This shows that they are not willing to put warranty on their work and take responsibility. If they can not fix something as simple as a splash shield, how are customers suppose to trust them to do any work more mechanically inclined. The lady that was responsible for the shop also had a terrible attitude and gave little to no instructions when I dropped off my car. She also gave me an attitude when I had my boyfriend pick up the car. This is probably the worst auto shop I’ve ever been. The only reason I went back again was because I trust my family member that recommended me. My family and I would never go back again! I would not advise anyone to get any work done at this shop.

I was never really fond of repair shops. But recently, i’ve been hearing these odd sounds coming from my radio and, with annoyance, called 31 Auto Repair. I was met with a very nice and professional lady. I had dropped off my van for a quick fix. Within a few hours, they quickly fixed the air conditioning and radio. In the end, they charged an understanding price. Some repair shops over pay, so it’s rare to see such low prices. In all honestly, i do recommend you to visit this shop. Trust me, It's worth your money.

Actually the shop's name is 31st Auto Repair. This's the best place for fixing my car, every one who work here is so nice and very professional. My car is Infiniti 2007 G35x, I've been here 5 times, so after that, 31st auto repair has became the only one in Chicago place that I don't need to worry about if they are able to fix my car and the price of replacing parts are very reasonable. Jay and Kayla who are owners of the shop are the nicest person I've ever met, they will take care your car as good as theirs.

It is the best service I have ever had in the Chicago area! The owner helped me during the past year. He is very professional, friendly, and honest about what's wrong with my car. I bought my car in 2020 and visited many places for oil changes or repairs. All other auto services tried to fix something that was not broken or put the needle in my tire. He never overcharges me, helps me figure out the problem, and won't push through. I will recommend it to my friends and be a regular customer!

I have been using their services for several Years now..,. These have included a complete new engine install, New 4wd Axle replacement, Brakes, and a Starter amongst other reg maintenance items such as AC Recharge and Oil changes on my Chevy Suburban Z71. The service was both Friendly, Understanding and Extremely Well priced. I will always return here as they really go the extra mile to make sure I am completely HAPPY. Besides the fact that they are a Local Neighborhood Business. Please ignore the Competitors Troll account Negative Posts on here as I find that such a Sad Tactic.If your business was a good one you wouldn't need to make fake accounts.
