Take a look at the police cars in the shop! 😱 My son, who serves in the Marines, brought his Black Chevy Malibu here to get an estimate for some faded paint spots. During the estimate, the owner not only examined the paint but ended up taking even more paint off the car. To our shock, he then told my son that he wouldn't do anything to fix it. I rushed over when my son called, insisting, "We need to call the police!" The owner, however, countered with, "The Torrance PD is here, just look at their cars." I advised my son that these were the notorious Torrance bullies, and it wasn't worth pursuing. Instead, he ended up getting the job done at a friend's shop. Been living in Torrance most of my life, still can't believe this type of stuff happens in Torrance. Just a disgrace.

I want to share the experience I had at Privilege Auto and Body. I took my 2013 black corvette for oxidized areas. I spoke to Marcos showed him areas, he quoted me a price and the dated it would be completed. My vehicle was completed as promised. I took a look at my vehicle the areas all blended it looked like the whole car had a complete paint job. I highly recommend Privilege Auto Body

Marcos and his team are the absolute BEST you will find in the Torrance area! He was referred to me by another car guy in the South Bay that I trust, and I'm so glad I brought my car to him. I came in potentially needing a new front bumper, but Marcos was able to solve the problem without needing to replace it. It only took a few hours and his pricing is honest. He even buffed out some scratches that were on the car as a courtesy! Seriously, come to Marcos for your auto body needs. I'm so glad I didn't go to the dealership to fix my car. Amazing detail work done by Marcos team. I had a rear bumper dent-in from my Tacoma and needed it to be replaced. This is my work truck so I can't drop it off for more than one day. They were able to color match and order parts for me while I still have my car and the installation only took one day. And because the installation hours were less than the initial quotation, he lowered the price for me. Detailed and honest work is so rare these days. I definitely recommend that anyone come here for their auto repairs.

Another 5 star rating for Privilege Auto Body! (See new review below 7/29/25) My insurance company suggested a couple of shops and I did my own research as well. I called Marcos first and was satisfied he would do a great job. He is always very reassuring! There are a lot of moving parts in the auto body business and Privilege did them all with excellence. The quality of workmanship, service and turnaround were top rate. Marcos takes a lot of pride in his business. So much so that I will be called back to replace one of my new head lamps because he wasn't happy when he saw a little build up of moisture after washing my car. The paint matching and repairs are perfect and seamless. He replaced both headlamps so that they looked alike; only one was damaged. He sent my tire rim out to be buffed and it too is perfect. He repaired and painted a couple of door dings that were not part of the accident at no additional cost. Thank you! From meeting the demands of my insurance company, to coordinating the services needed outside of his shop to the finished repairs and service all completed within 2 weeks. I have had such work take a month. I hope to never need body work again but if I do, I will most definitely call Marcos at Privilege. 7/29/25 I am rereading my Google reviews. This one has been a thorn in my side since the 2nd time I had Privilege Auto Body and Paint repair my car on 6/1/2021. I haven't contacted them about this because I had people close to me tell me to let it go. To this day, four years later, I am reminded daily and angered by what happened. My car was returned to me with my hatch back spoiler stolen and replaced with a mismatched color and seriously scratched spoiler. I don't know if the owner is aware that this goes on in his shop. I now rescind my previous review.

Have you ever gotten anxiety from a car accident or a scratch/dent on your car? I have unfortunately experienced both on separate occasions and the only body shop I trust is Privilege Auto Body. Being a girl and dealing with car problems is the worst! You never know if someone is trying to rip you off by charging additional unnecessary things or who to trust when leaving your vehicle. Any time something happens to my car I can just call Marcos. He is always honest, straightforward, and dependable. He is experienced in dealing with body work and will get your car back to you as soon as possible. The only criticism I have for this business is it is hard to see from the main streets. If you can find the Shell gas station on Crenshaw and 190th then you have found this body shop, it's located right behind it. Other than that this is definitely the place you want to go if you need any kind of body work done. if I could give this place 10 stars I would!!!!

I was extremely impressed by Marco's work. He went the extra mile for me and straightened the frame without cutting it off the car. He remained very professional even when dealing with a very lousy insurance the other party had (who hit my car had). I was kept up to date on everything that was going on with the insurance and was assured that everything was going to turn out ok despite the insurance trying to cheap out. Cant say enough how much I appreciated the communication here so I what's going on with my car. This gave me piece of mind throughout the process. The end result was phenomenal, my car looked like new clean from inside and out. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs body work on their car.

We have been going to Marcos & Privilege Auto Body for years!!! We’ve had our share of auto accidents over the years, as my wife and I are in our mid-50s, and I can honestly say that no one is better able to fix our vehicles than this auto body shop. There is a difference in quality that’s noticeable. Marcos is prompt, professional, and makes our vehicles look brand new like the factory showroom. We’ve had him fix everything from a classic Mustang, a SS Camaro, to now a brand new Rav 4 Hybrid XLE Premium. We were heartbroken when someone smashed into the two doors on the driver’s side just a few months after we purchased it. We knew from experience that fixing doors is tricky, and when our Camry was hit years ago a DIFFERENT auto body shop screwed up the repair and the door never closed properly with the window frequently malfunctioning. We knew the job had to be done right especially with this car almost brand new. The decision was easy because there is no company we trust to fix our car other than Privilege Auto Body and Marcos! He is so sharp and knowledgeable with years of experience including our own cars, we felt 100% comfortable he would make our car brand new again!! Once again he delivered and our car looks just as perfect as it did the day we drove it off the new car lot!! This job is absolutely meticulous and there is no sign whatsoever of the accident!! I would like to say that Marcos and his crew did an amazing job. I had a body kit painted for my 05' BMW 530i, Marcos matched the paint perfectly to the car and you couldn't tell that it was repainted at all. Price was great for the work that was required for the job. He also did a paint-less dent removal which turned out perfectly, could not tell where the dents were. My car is low to the ground and the wheel caught the fender and caused it to poke out a little bit, but it was no issue for Marcos, he took care of it no problem and for a very good price. I thank Marcos and his team at Privilege Auto Body & Paint for doing such a great job on the car and will be giving them business in the future. Highly Recommended.

I don't hand out 5-star ratings like Halloween candy but Marcos and his team at Privilege Auto Body & Paint have easily earned a 5-star rating from me for the work they have done on my cars. I have dealt with Privilege on three occasions: once for collision repair/painting, once for handling an insurance claim for a totaled vehicle and, most recently, for repainting my '98 SUV. I had this vehicle painted previously at a lower-cost place but the workmanship was poor and the cheap paint they used broke down quickly. On the other hand, Privilege Auto Body & Paint has consistently done excellent work for me at a fair price with customer service that has always exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

My dumbass had an embarrassing moment, never thought I’d be victim to the dreaded gas station pole. Alas, I’m here leaving this review. It took some time for me to decide if I should get this taken care of. After getting estimates from the best body shops in my vicinity (Torrance), I realized it’s best to utilize insurance. After looking at my options, I decided on privilege auto body initially due to how close it was to my home. Marcos was the appraiser I dealt with, and was very helpful every step of the way. He gave me options and what was recommended based on my needs. Being yeah this is my truck I decided to fix everything the right way especially since I will be filing a claim. The shop sourced two replacement doors and even turned down one that was not up to their quality standards. They also allowed me to hold the truck until they were ready to start, which was important because the truck was still drivable and I chose to not use a rental. Any changes in the estimate was communicated both to me and my insurance (insurance low balled me for the ‘not so great’ solution by using bondo instead of replacing the door altogether). And in no time, the truck was done. I was called and we scheduled pick up. Now for the cost. The shop was very competitive and their work was top quality. No complaints on the final product, very happy! The truck came out cleaner than when it came in. I’ve used body shops in the past for previous vehicles and the shops didn’t even bother detailing/washing it prior to returning it to me. That level of detail is something you remember. Truck literally looks brand new. If you need a body shop, with or without insurance, use Privilege and ask for Marcos, tell them Jeff with the tundra sent you!

Best shop in the South Bay! Marcos took in my RAM to replace the back passenger side door. He took it upon himself to buff out the scratches on the front fender and minor dent in the front passenger door. He is very welcoming and professional and can see why there are many other 5 star reviews. He had the truck washed and polished before he called me to let me know it was ready. Upon picking it up he asked me to bring it back after the rain stops so they can touch up any spots they may need it. I just dropped it off this morning and in about 2.5 hours the truck was ready with ANOTHER exterior and interior wash! Talk about great customer service. The body work is second to none and the truck looks brand new. Feels good to have my baby back!! Thank you Privilege Auto Body for great customer service and beyond exceptional work. I hope i won't need to come back but if i ever need a body shop again you guys are it!

I sideswiped a pole at the mall🤦🏽‍♀️ When we contacted Marcos he gave a detailed breakdown of the work at a great price. Communication with him was great, always available to answer any questions. He is very friendly, honest and trustworthy! Dropped my car off at closing on a Thursday and it was ready by morning the following Wednesday! Looks brand new as if I’d never ran into that pole! And it’s cleaner now than how it was when I dropped it off, including vacuuming the inside and shining my tires & rims! 🤩 Don’t hesitate to trust Privilege auto Body with your car!
