went here with 3 minor things that could all be fixed in an hour each. got a diag and a quote of $2700 and $130 diag fee!! called up a mobile mechanic and got everything done parts and labor for only $250 PARTS AND LABOR INCLUDED. do not go here and if you are unfortunately reading after getting a quote from here PLEASE get a second opinion. the mobile mechanic i went to said he has many customers coming to him after getting quoted outrageous prices and he tells them cut the price in half to start and that he will try his best to get it more affordable if possible. not to mention these guys quoted me a $600 window switch when it turns out the mobile mechanic found out the problem was only a broken wire and he spliced it and left my old part in INSTEAD of charging me anyway! this is a shady shop looking to scam at any chance they get. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I had a great experience with A/C service on my 2004 Odyssey at Provo Car Doctors! It was very important to me to find an honest car repair shop. After following the recommendation of another shop that couldn't fit me in and suggested I call Provo Car Doctors, I feel like honesty is exactly what I got, in addition to very timely service. Michelle at Provo Car Doctors answered the phone and made time for my van to be seen the next morning (sooner than I had expected), which I really needed because I was heading out of town. A couple of hours after I dropped off the van, Michelle called to tell me the mechanic had found an A/C electrical connection unplugged, and that after reconnecting it the A/C worked. Provo Car Doctors could have struggled to diagnose the problem, and they could have told me anything and suggested replacing their choice of expensive parts. Instead they were competent and honest. What they found and reported did make sense because I had just replaced the radiator myself and disconnected several electrical connections in the process, including one for the A/C. I must have missed one when putting everything back together. I was very grateful, and because our freon was low I accepted Michelle's suggestion of a system evacuation and recharge with dye. If the A/C goes out or I have a different problem beyond my own ability to fix, I will trust my van with Provo Car Doctors. Thank you!

My car wasn't accelerating so I took it to Provo Car doctors and they took a look. They let me know I needed a new transmission and I was not prepared for that. I told them I was going to take it somewhere else for a second opinion and they were so kind and helpful. Because of the way they responded when I took my car elsewhere is the very reason I will be back. They are honest and kind and just want to help you get your car back in perfect working condition. HIGHLY Recommend using them for all your car repairs!

When I took my car there last year, I would’ve given them a five star. They made a hook so I can open the hood of my car, replaced the gasket, etc and oil change. This time I took it to them because my headlight was out and more importantly, after I replaced the battery, the wires were frayed that attached to the negative side of the battery. So my car wouldn’t start, we finally got it to start so I took it over there. They charged me almost $200 to straighten the wires, it says they replaced them but they didn’t. They didn’t replace the cords at all so it’s not safe. They just made it so it’ll start. Also, they charge for a diagnostic on each individual thing so I have to figure out what’s wrong with my headlight, and check engine at a later time.

I rarely write reviews, however, I had an amazing experience with Provo Car Doctors and I wanted to share. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. It's hard to find a car shop you can trust and I'm so glad I found Provo Car Doctor's! I was referred to go here by another auto shop as I needed engine work done. It turns out that the work I just had done at the previous shop wasn't working quite right so the Provo Car Doctors worked with this shop to get the work I needed done at no cost as the parts were warrantied. I really appreciated how the Provo Car Doctors went out of their way to make sure I got the lowest possible cost by working with other local shops. I had a great experience and will be coming back the next time I need work done on my car.

Great communication and affordable rates. Took my son's car in to replace the window regulator and after completing the service they noticed oil leaking pretty badly. Turns out the techs at Jiffy Lube did a poor job installing the oil filter. Provo Car Docs redid the oil change, replaced the gasket and cap properly, no leak. I might have found my new favorite repair shop.

I really love Provo Car Doctors! I feel like they really take care of their customers and are extremely helpful if you have any questions or concerns. I really appreciate how they only use quality parts and really go the extra mile to ensure that your car is getting a long-lasting repair. The head-gasket repair I had done did take a few weeks as it was a bigger repair but I had a lot of confidence knowing they did a great job and it was for a fair price as well. The other repair was very quick, they had it in and out in basically one day. I really appreciate the work they do here and I also really appreciate Michelle, she is so helpful and kind!

Nate and his team have been an absolute pleasure. I have a classic 63 Jeep CJ5 and I had hired another shop to put a new motor in it for me. I never heard from them and it took months and months to complete and never ran well with almost all new parts under the hood and drivetrain. Nate figured out what was wrong almost immediately, told me what I needed, allowed me to source the parts and had them installed and my Jeep running better than ever several days before he had told me he would have it done. They checked in about everyday and were a dream to work with. Save yourself time and money and just start with these guys. They know what they are doing. Thanks again men!

I slammed this shop in my initial review and it turns out that it wasn't their fault. My regular mechanic tells me that my spark plugs broke after the repair, which is why the car was stuttering and the "Check Engine" light went off. My car is running fine now. (With this in mind, I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars.) "Original Review: Just picked up my car after a $1500 repair. The car stuttered off and on the whole way home and the "Check Engine" light started flashing for a minute and then stopped. The car is in worse condition than when I left it with this shop."

I worked with Clint, Jesse, Michelle, and Nate on standard maintenance and a few issues with my car. To shorten a detailed history, there are two main experiences that led to this review. When my car stalled, Provo Car Doctors quoted $2,100 for a timing chain replacement. I had another shop diagnose the same, but quote $3,800. While more issues were discovered along the way, the $3,100 total was still well below other shops and estimates. Sometime later the engine began to work harder and shift earlier than normal. They diagnosed a wrist pin failure. The fix being an engine replacement, which they stated wasn't worth the cost with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Sometime later, the AC died and they stated, "As much as I want to perform the work, I don't think it is worth fixing." While they have all been very accomodating and curteous (and I did ask many questions), the proper diagnosis, direct honesty, and very reasonable pricing is why I keep going back. Give them a call or visit the website if you need a mechanic in the area.

Went there because I thought I had an oil leak and my tires sounded off. I called for a quote and they got me in the next day for a wheel alignment. I asked them to look at the oil leak and give me an estimate. They called me to tell me that there was no oil leak and what they thought happened. They then told me that it was overdue for maintenance and told me about other things that were wrong with the car that made the noise and the wheels feel “off”. They did a wheel alignment and changed my suspension as well as some belt thing all for a very reasonable price. The price they quoted me included labor and part. Keep in mind I have not serviced this car in 6 years. The prices were fair and more than rea. They were prompt fast and friendly. They didn’t try to upsell me or pressure me into getting work done. A dishonest mechanic would have told me they fixed the oil leak and charged me but they instead told me there was no oil leak and were honest from the get. My parts also have warranty and I honestly could not have had a better experience with them. Highly recommend. Honest and with fair and reasonable prices.

I got an alignment done in September and I went in today to see if they could look at my front end because it felt loose. They charged me $150 to tell me it was the bushings of my control arms. They then told me it would be $414 for the right one and $414 for the left one plus the $150 to assess this problem plus $140 for the alignment and $589 in labor $25 in shop supplies. I found the parts for $114 a piece. If you didn’t wanna do the work, you could’ve just told me. You’ll notice the same part number in the pictures.

They are so amazing and nice! My car stopped working across the street from the shop and they helped me move my car and got it fixed in less than 2 hours! Not to mention I was sure it was my alternator and they were super honest, after testing let me know it was just some loose connections! They are awesome, would recommend!
