Alex is amazing. I have heard many great things about this guy so i decided to try to take my truck to him after another mechanic was unable to fix my truck A/C. Alex immediately looked at my truck and told me he would fix it right in front of me and proceeded to show me the problem. He had my truck repaired in an hour and I was off. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Excellent little auto repair shop in a nondescript collection of warehouse space on Palm, between Pembroke Rd and Miramar. Although the area looks a little rough around the edges don't be afraid to pull in and speak with Alex (the owner) about the issues you're having. If you're hearing a "noise", feeling a "vibration" or your car just isn't functioning correctly he'll insist on getting in the passenger seat and have you drive with him to make sure you're both on the same page, which is a pretty comforting thought to reinforce you're not getting ripped off or charged for services you don't need. In my case I was hearing a higher pitched humming noise when idle, which Alex quickly identified as burned out bearings in the alternator. Sure enough he was right, and after ordering the part, which came in a reasonable amount of time, he installed it and I was on my way, confident that I was fairly charged. I'll definitely come back for future service, and suggest you do too.

Being pretty lost in the auto world, i had no idea what was wrong with my car. I took it to Quality Auto and dealt with Alex. I must say, i was completely surprised at how honest, and helpful he was. You can tell he knows, and loves what he does. I would highly recommend him. I know for a fact, if i would have tasken my car anywhere else, i would have been charged so much more. Thank you!!!

Best mechanic Ive met in a very long time. Took my car in after noticing a gasoline leak in my engine compartment. Alex inspected and fixed the problem right in front of me and even took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He is an honest and friendly person which is rare these days. Pricing was very reasonable and I even learned a few things about how my engine works. Highly recommended!

I've got a 96 Cherokee that I refuse to part with whose cooling system exploded on the highway. Had it towed based off of great reviews to Alex at quality auto. To say I was pleased was an understatement. Alex was friendly courteous, his prices were fair and he was extremely fast on his work. Only sold me and repaired what I needed. Quality auto repair is amazing! Alex & his wife are beyond nice. We are from out-of-town & we broke down on the turnpike late in the day on a Friday afternoon, very close to closing. To make matters worse it was Memorial Day weekend. We called them and explained the situation & they waited for us. When we arrived Alex immediately started to work on solving our problem. He fixed the car and we were back on the road in no time. I wish he was closer! We live over an hour from Quality Auto but would make the drive for Alex to work on our vehicles. Thanks to Quality Auto our long weekend in the Keys was saved! Go to quality auto you'll be glad you did!

Alex is a great mechanic, he spent a good amount of time talking with me and figuring out what needed to be done without any pressure. When my repair was done the bill ended up being LESS than I was quoted! Alex told me he had to use a different part supplier to get my equipment on time, and actually passed the savings on to me. Good luck finding that level of service and respect elsewhere in south Florida. Take your car here, you won't be disappointed.

Alex is the owner of Quality Auto. I've known him for over 30 years. He has serviced my prior cars as well as my children's cars when they were teenagers with their first cars. If they had a problem I would tell them to take the car to Alex..lol..The reason why I mentioned this is because over the years, he has always been low-key, honest, and sincere, professionaland consistent. He will always give you an estimate and not pressure you into making a decision. If he had to spend a little more in purchasing a part, he calls and let you know before installing the part, then you get a surprise when picking it up your car.. Like some mechanics do. He's one of a kind. That's why he gets a 5 star from me.

Alex is an honest mechanic who took the time with me to review an engine light that came on in my car. He replaced the spark plugs and an ignition coil at a reasonable price. He did not replace or charge anything more than what was needed to get the repair fixed. Would recommend him to anyone living in the area.

Today I Visited Alex at Quality Auto Repair because my check engine light was on and I had issues with starting . He was completely honest and upfront about what my car needed and never tried to sell me services my car doesn't need. Great experience and I would recommend him for auto repairs. 12/08/21: I brought in my car for a automatic transmission leak check. Recently, my CV axles were replaced by Tire Kingdom (What a huge mistake). So it turns out , the mechanic at tire kingdom (while replacing my CV axles), hurt the output shaft seal and therefore, transmission fluid was leaking. Alex advised me to take my car back to tire kingdom and have the shaft seal replaced, which thankfully they did . Alex saved me $200! . I highly recommend everyone to visit Alex for all your auto needs. Thank you Alex!

I have been coming to this very small and out of the way place for the last 20 years with 3 different cars. Alex is a very honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic. He has never, ever, overcharge me for repairs and neither has he suggested to do any "extra needed" work on all my cars. He does advise me on when I should do any maintenance and unlike car dealers, he never finds other items to repair. I wish mechanics could take honesty lessons from this man...I will continue come to do my car repairs, I highly recommend you do also

Alex is very honest and does great work! He got me out of a tough jam while I was traveling. My transmission went out and had to be towed while on the way to Miami. Alex was able to put an additive in the transmission fluid, and it worked like a charm. Was able to finish my trip to the Keys and back to Tampa with no problem! Still running great! Most mechanics would have told me I needed to rebuild the entire transmission, but Alex was honest and advised me to use the thickener instead. My car is older and would not have been worth the expense to rebuild. Highly recommend for quality work, reasonable prices, and great service. Will definitely go back if I am in the area. Alex is beyond amazing! My car broke down in the middle of the everglades and the first shop I took it too was trying to change me left and right for unnecessary repairs and said they couldn't fix the car for at least another 5 days... I made a call to Alex at Quality Auto Repair explaining my situation and he got me in straight away. The repairs only took 2 hours and I was back on the road with no issues. He was extremely helpful. Alex is literally one of the most honest mechanics I know. He really takes the time to diagnose the issue and gives you honest opinion. I have been using the same mechanic for 10 years but he took the customer service level to a whole another level. I came in through a referral of my friend and he treated me like a family I was stressed and panic because I needed my car fix before I went to work he was patient and did all before 3 hours. I ask another mechanic and they said it would take a whole day and would have charged 3 times as much.
