Explained everything to me before I paid(print out) . My father was a mechanic for over 60 yrs so he told me about Labor. Everything else was reasonable to my satisfaction. I'm going back to this place in 2 weeks for another vehicle problem. The service was fast.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Car over heated and got it towed to Quiet Zone. They sent me a video of the “leak” from the radiator. Waited for them to get done called at closing time on a Friday to tell me that I need a thermostat replaced. First I got told the car will be drivable and but it will just say check coolant temp which will signal my A/C to not work, so they send the payment link and I pay and he calls back and say that the car still might overheat due to thermostat but they couldn’t get to it until Monday. I decided to pickup my car so I said okay and then got messaged the WRONG pickup box code after getting back and forth to pickup the car, someone responded on messenger admitting to the wrong code given. I was able to get my keys. I got my car to a closer location (around the corner) to get it checked out by another mechanic. The mechanic instantly noticed no coolant at all in the reservoir. He also noticed where the “leak” was coming from. Do not recommend at all!!!! Out of $1100 because I did business with them. If I brought my car in for overheating why isn’t there coolant in my reservoir? Why wait til the day of pick up to tell me to replace my thermostat? Why was there no mention of a gasket leak? Any basic shop would instantly notice all of that. Horrible!!! Update: I spoke with Spencer he says I wanted to get my car so quickly but if I left it over the weekend he would’ve fixed the gasket. Thats a lie because he would’ve mentioned a housing gasket leak on FRIDAY!! He mentioned my radiator had a leak but not my housing gasket. Every shop knows if I brought it in for overheating a thermostat, coolant, and radiator is some of the few things you check!!! Then he tried to offer me an oil change after like that’s resolving. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Response to the reply: YES I requested pickup at 4:45 because who is waiting a whole weekend to change a simple thermostat!!!! Like I said, the leak was NOT from the radiator it was from THERMOSTAT HOUSING GASKET!!! Y’all misdiagnosed and when you called to let me know y’all “changed” the radiator, you did not let me know there would be no coolant in my reservoir!!!! That could have did more damage!!! Only thing i was told was thermostat was stuck, not a leak coming from gaskets, YALL test drove it after servicing it and did not notice no coolant!!! I will be filing against this. I will be taking this further if get this doesn’t get made right.!! I have timing proof, photos, and videos also to back up my claim. I’m not accepting an $80 oil change. Ya’ll towing fee $75 but rather do that for than to get the car and do whats right!!!

I have been going to Quiet Zone for car and truck repairs since I moved to Beaumont (about 22 years.) iU took my vehicles, then my wife’s vehicles as well as my son’s and daughter’s. I have spent many thousand of dollars and would have done so again over the coming years. Until today! They will never get another penny out of me! I drop my truck off there and ride my e-bike back home, then I ride my e-bike to pick it up. As long as I have been going there they have found someone to take just a minute and help me load my bike in the back of the truck (it is a very heavy bike and I am 66.) Today they said I would have to wait for someone to come back from lunch to help me load it, when the shop had manics there right then. One of them could have taken two minutes to help me. I had to do it myself and now my back is in hurting bad! And that is after the told me they could not find the trouble with my truck, but wanted to change my spark plugs for $900! And they couldn’t even tell me if it would fix the problem. Johnson’s Shell will change the spark plugs for $400. If it even needs that. I bet Johnson’s will find the root problem! It was so bad of an experience that I will never go back. And the new lady working the front does not really care about anyone, she must think that people have no choice about where they take their car. She should not be dealing with customers.

Quoted my son $2300 for a job. I told them exactly what was wrong with the car so they didn’t have any diagnostics. Charged him $100 when he couldn’t afford the work. 0/10. Will take advantage of you. Women and young folks beware!

I am NOT a mechanic, I am a senior citizen. I called and spoke with Spencer, I told him what was going on with my car and I said I do not know why it would not start, I told him I only had $800. to get my car, so please fix it for me, he said understood. I said good, I really need my car because I have no one and although I do not drive much, I still need my car, I had to keep calling him, he kept saying we are still looking, but the cost kept going up, until finally, I said, you are still telling me you cannot find the problem, if you cannot fix me=y car tell me and I will try to find someone that will, he told me I am not going to charge you more than $535. and you can come get it, it is your engine, if he knew that then why did he keep replacing parts. I paid the $530. but afterwards I was able to read what he said I asked, he said I asked to see if anything was disconnected, that is a bald faced lie, however, if that is what I asked him, why did it take him 2 days, and why did it cost $530.? I will tell you why, it is because he was ripping me off, I will be filing a lawsuit against Quiet Zone! I STRONGLY ADVISE DO NOT TAKJE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE, THE WILL RIP YOU OFF HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS, AND WHEN YOU CONFRONT THEM, THEY WILL HANGUPO IN YOUR FACE! THIS IS WHAT SPENCER DID TO ME! SENIOR CITIZENS, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY WILL LIE, AND PRETEND, JUST TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE, BUT MOSTLY SENIOR CITIZENS AND THOSE OF US THAT DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARS! THEY WILL TO LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE THEY WILL FIX YOUR CAR WHEN ALL THEY ARE DOING IS STEALKING YOUR MONEY! THE WORST TYPE OF SCAMMERS ARE THE ONES THAT HIDE BEHIND A COMPANY'S NAME! Then they tell you, if you are not satisfied with the service let them know and they will make it right. LIE! THEY WILL N OT EVEN RESPOND! TTHEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!
