*This review has been revised after they took the car back* No matter what they fix, a new problem arises when I pick it up. I took my car here to fix my AC and replace a door pin in the driver side door. I told them $1,500 was my limit because I'm a student. They said that would work and I'd have the car at the end of the week. It took way longer than a week for them to complete the job. The first week, they did some work and never checked that the second part they needed had to be shipped. They charged me over $1,400 for the first week of work. Then I had to wait 2 weeks for them to do the rest where they charged me another near $500. They told me to pick up on a Saturday, when I arrived, thet informed me that my car was accidentally locked in a building they had no access to. As an apology I was given a 20% discount coupon for my next visit after that had previously already given me 30 identical cards to pass out to friends. Also, the door pin that I had originally asked about... Turns out they weren't able to fix that because they're not certified for body work. They waited 2 weeks to tell me that. Upon finally receiving the car, there were chip crumbs on the floor and under the seats. I don't eat chips. There were also black marks and grease stains all over my interior including clothes and blankets folded in the back. I had to spend 40 minutes in their driveway cleaning before I could leave. Upon driving out of their driveway. The AC still didn't work. They assured me when I picked it up that everything was working and tested. So far I'd spent over $1,900 for the work just to still have a broken AC. After days of going back and forth and posting this review, I finally got a response. In the meantime, a coolant line went bad which they thought might be the cause of the AC compressor not working. They tell me that as an apology for my trouble, I'll receive a discount and free detail. They say they'll fix the coolant line and if the car works fine I can pick up. Or if it does need an AC compressor they will call me to confirm. I then don't hear from them for another week and nobody confirms with me whether or not an AC compressor was actually needed. They did the new compressor anyway without confirming with me. In terms of the detail, they said they would do exterior and interior yet there's still dirt all over the carpets and weather stains on the exterior from the last rainstorm so clearly they didn't actually detail it at all. Also, now that I have picked up the vehicle it makes a loud obnoxious vibrating sound from the rear right tire and I have no idea why. Regardless, I'm glad that my AC finally works. I am happy to be back on the road and grateful that they made some sort of attempt to make things right.

Even though they couldn’t work on my car due to my warranty company. They sure did fight with them and tried everything in their power to make it work. Miguel was great! Every time I called, he knew exactly who I was before I even said my name. That’s some great customer service. He also tried figuring out every way to get me a new engine. Even though it didn’t work out, I would bring my car back in a heartbeat to them!

Omg how wonderful these guys are here. I went there at 7:30 am to wait for them to open. Being they had been booked up and no space for any other work to be done, they squeezed me in there anyway. And got all the work done on my car in about a hour. When I tell you amazing is not enough. These guys are great. Great service!!! My son is a freshman at Savannah St and his transmission went out. After doing alot if research in the area, I decided to give Rafael's a try. It took about two weeks for the repair because they were swamped but they repaired it and gave us a warranty. He'll be taking his car there for every service as long as he's in the Savannah area.

Very happy with my service here! I appreciated they went above the issues I came in for and inspected other parts of my car. They were able to get diagnose an issue that several other body shops had been unable to, with pictures too! Wish I would have been updated on the timeline to pickup my car earlier. This place is absolutely amazing! i’ve went to 3 other car shops to help me figure out why my brakes have been acting weird. NO one else was able to spot the issue beside these guys. Josh and raph were super helpful and made everything easy to understand. they got my car fixed up (beside a couple minor things ill have to go back up there for) and it was in and out of the shop less than a week. and plus.. by far this place has the BEST customer service i’ve ever seen! props to you guys!! 10/10!!

I brought my truck to this shop for what was supposed to be a straightforward rear main seal replacement due to a slow leak. My vehicle was there for approximately 1.5–2 months. After picking it up and driving home, the truck began shifting hard, and oil started pouring from underneath the vehicle — an issue far worse than the original slow leak. I attempted to contact the shop but was unable to reach anyone, so I had to return in person to speak with management. I was ultimately told that nothing could be done. I am now left with a vehicle in worse condition than when I brought it in. I’m very disappointed with both the outcome of the repair and the lack of resolution offered. I hope the shop takes situations like this more seriously in the future.

I can’t thank Rafael Auto Repairs in Savannah enough! 🙏 At 4 a.m., in the middle of my trip from Miami to New York, my Hummer broke down and the towing company brought me straight to them. As a woman traveling alone, I was immediately reassured by their kindness and professionalism. Super, super, thankful for the repair work done! When I brought my car, I couldn’t turn the wheel successfully, but in as little as two days these guys had an idea of what was wrong, a reasonable estimate with an explanation. The car was fixed in a week or less, and it runs beautifully. For a year I couldn’t take my car in the highway and visit my mom who is sick, but not thanks to these guys I’ll be driving up there in no time!

The service was horrible. I took it in for a roaring noise, they told me it was wheel bearings. They replaced them and charged me $700+ DOLLARS. The noise was still there when I get the car. I wound up spending over $3000 at a different shop because the noise was the transfer case. They didn't try to help or anything at all. Never take your vehicle there. Very unprofessional........ I just saw your response as well. No you did not fix the noise by any means at all. And no you did not set a quote for the transfer case because yall said the noise was bearings. So lets dont go that route you guys are lying

Our family was in Savannah this weekend for a soccer tournament and I realized that a chunk of plastic protection underneath/front of car had dislodged and was scraping the road when driving. I was looking for a place to get it fixed soon as we were inbetween games. Found Rafael's through Google Maps. They were extremely helpful and told me to come back in 30 min and when I got the car back, they fixed it in 10 minutes AND did not charge me for it. VEry cordial and great customer service!
