Joey, the owner, came out to tow my van. I had to be at work in less than an hour, so instead of towing it for me, he took the time to plug it for me and out air in it so I could get to work on time. he even gave me quarters to put more air in it at the gas station. Really amazing service! Really amazing guy! For sure the kind of person and company I could get behind as an American during these troubling times.

Very professional and honest I had my Monte Carlo towed because of a issue with harness they were honest about the repair issue.altho I didn't get the car repaired.the accomodations were so professional and honest.will use them in future. and the tow guy was phonenonial and patient and professional. During a stressful situation after my car broke down, Joey arrived earlier than we expected, provided us with wonderful accommodating service, towed my car back home which was an hour away, allowed us to ride with him, and was as nice as can be. Great experience I called AAA and A & J showed up quickly to tow my car. He popped the hood and started trying to see if he can see what was going on. He also was very kind in suggesting us to take it to his shop instead of some random one we chose to save us money. Honesty and care this place gives is very evident. My car is already ready to pick up and this happened yesterday mid-day. Kind service and do not take advantage of you. I will be returning if I need anymore car repairs in Lynchburg!

I don’t write bad reviews But this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. They picked up my car through Triple AAA and I was going to have it towed somewhere else but they said to go to them because they would be the quickest and easiest. After three weeks of my car being in the shop with little communication from them I called and asked what was going on. I don’t know much about cars so I was genuinely asking questions out of curiosity and trying to understand why it was taking so long and all I got was little to no explanation, excuses, and deflections until finally I asked too many questions and I was met with rudeness and impatience. I got off the phone and felt as though I had just been yelled at for not understanding why my car had to be in the shop for a month while it caused me many inconveniences with work. I will never go back here and I strongly recommend you stay away as well. If you want good customer service and people that actually care and respect you go to one of the many other options in Lynchburg.

Very straightforward with pricing and when explaining what needed to happen. He was very knowledgeable about what my issue is. Originally hired as a tow service to another repair shop, he knew exactly what the issue was within a minute of hearing it on the spot and was prepared to beat the pricing for the replacement from the repair shop that he was originally going to tow me to. I decided to give him a try and was not disappointed. He was very professional the entire time and now has a new customer.

Joey and his team are always honest and affordable. We bring all our work trucks to him because we know they take pride in their work and do a great job and will get it done in a reasonable amount of time. Many times we have had multiple options on how to fix a problem and he's always been great about telling us about all pros and cons of each one and many times recommending the less expensive option or finding ways to save us money which most mechanics wouldn't do. We highly recommend a&j and trust them with our whole fleet!

A&J is the BEST shop around. Always honest, respectful and reasonable in cost. These guys have done just about everything for me from transmission rebuilds, to plugs and wires. Always top notch work, lightning fast. They always will keep me updated with repairs or if anything changes such as cost or repairs. Towing service is the best around too. Better price than any other service, especially B-Line. These guys have picked up my vehicle and given me a ride home before. Joey and the guys are the man

I will give them two stars because they successfully fixed a half-done job of control arm replacements a while back. This should really be 1 star because they charged me $500$ + for it. I came in with a cooling issue. The coolant was disappearing, and I didn’t know if it was leaking or burning. They said it was the radiator and the transmission cooler. All in all, $1300 will be spent on parts and labor. I come to get it back, and when I park the car, I spray coolant all over the ground. I get it towed back, and they say it’s a hose that’s messed up. They made me order a so-called hose and put it on after 2.5 weeks of waiting. They come back from a test drive, and the car starts leaking like crazy again. At this point, I will take it back and bring it to another shop that will fix the issue in a few days. On top of this, the car was absolutely filthy, with dust and debris from mechanics getting in and out of it. Although that’s not good, the main thing is communication. The communication has to go up, guys. This is unacceptable; opening at 9 am, but calls aren’t answered until 11 am unless I spam the phone. This shouldn’t be the case. If you have a German car, DO NOT take it here.

On October 5th a customer of ours had his Volkswagen towed to our facility. In the process of towing it. A&J damaged the vehicles front tire, hubcap and rocker panel. This was caused because the vehicle was never strapped down properly. They did admit to the damages. A&J told us to repair the Tire and hubcap and they would pay the repair. The rocker damage was in excess of $1800. Since October 5th A&J has made no attempt to rectify the situation or compensate the customer. When I called, I was hung up on by the owner when I attempted to collect the money for the tire and the Hubcap.*** To your response, if the damage was to be handled by AAA then why did it take 21 days for AAA to be notified of the repair and why was I told to order the tire and hub cap on the 12th and you would pay for it?

This place is awful. Would give them zero stars if I could. Damaged my vehicle then had the audacity to ask me if the major dent and scrape down the side of my car was already like that. Was told it would be reported to claims immediately. nothing was done after a month and had to call back multiple times demanding their insurance to reach out to me. After a month they just submitted the claim. Unprofessional. Go somewhere you can trust wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The absolute worst shop I’ve ever used. It took them nearly six months to repair my car after I hit a deer. They kept stringing me along telling me “it’ll be done by the end of the week” week after week. When it was finally finished the work was terrible. Parts weren’t lined up, they’d scraped the paint on my door because it was rubbing on the poorly positioned fender, they dented the brand new hood, the check engine light was on, the tire pressure monitor system didn’t work. They told me they’d repair the paint and continued to string me along when I’d ask about getting an appointment. Finally, last week part of the grill and undercarriage cover fell off the car while I was driving down the highway. The tow truck driver pointed out to me that it was clearly a result of the shoddy work the shop had done. Never use this shop!
