This place has been here a long time and I got to visit for a muffler hanging by wire clothes hanger situation. They were able to give me a reasonable estimate and could tell me right away they were able to do the work. Professional and courteous and fast.

Needed to get new mufflers welded on and two other shops said they couldn't do it. Ralph's got it done in less than 2 hours and at a good price for the difficulty of the work. I highly recommend their services.

No customer service skills whatsoever. When I walked in, the man at the front desk just said “Yeah?” with a blank stare on his face. Why are you working customer service with no people skills? I did not get an explanation as to what was wrong with my car or what needed to be done, and when I asked, the worker talked down to me and made me feel stupid or like it was “obvious”. Very poor communication and I will not be giving them my business as I do not deserve to be made to feel like that

Ralph's has welded my exhaust braket multiple times at no charge. This time they recommended I get a new bracket from the Subaru dealer. They told me what to get and they said they would put it on for me. I got to meet Allison the granddaughter of Ralph's who did the work. It is a family affair and she learned welding from her family. Hat's off to this business that is full of integrity, reasonably priced and they are teaching the next generation.

I should have written this long ago but got busy. About 3 years ago I drove to Indy from Cincinnati to lead a seminar. About half way there something blew in the exhaust system and we no doubt could be heard for miles away. I passed their shop on the way to the seminar location, dropped it off and had someone from the seminar come get me. I figured I was in for replacement of at least the front end of the exhaust system. 2 hours later I get a call - A weld at the front end of the exhaust had broken. So they had simply cut off the offending section of exhaust pipe and welded in a replacement piece. Total cost under $100! And the exhaust is still working fine today. We need more honorable businesses like this!!

Just finished having a muffler installed on my car, with specific instructions from my mechanic (a specialist on my particular make and model) as to which muffler to install, and had to deal with a mechanic who was obstinate in his artempt to avoid doing the work as asked. It was not a difficult task. He just wanted to squeeze me for more money. After getting my mechanic on the phone with him he finally agreed to do it, but charged me an extra $100 for what amounted to an extra 10 minutes of work. Buyer beware. If you're not a professional mechanic, they'll try to screw you.

Incredible experience. Showed up today. He quoted me within 2 minutes of being there. Work was done in under an hour. And his price was unmatched. I always use local shops for auto work and their price beat the other local shop I used on the west side by hundreds of dollars. 11/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for muffler work done. I will be going back if I have more issues

Back in 2016, I went in early so that I didn’t have to wait in line. I went and blind, totally relying on a friend’s recommendation. I was totally pleased with their service. Nine years later, here I am telling my son to take the same vehicle, now 12 years old, to Ralph’s to get the exhaust checked. Their service is fast and beyond compare.

Great prices and always a good experience. Don't expect anything glamorous. It's just a honest place with great prices. I feel lucky to have found them!

Ralph's Muffler is a no-nonsense independent business that I will continue to go back to anytime I have muffler issues! Just be aware that they don't do reservations. It's first come, first served and they are only open until 1:00 on Saturday, so get there before they open at 8:00 if you want to get the work done. Prices are competitive and they do quality work. First rate business!

🚨Horror story incoming!!! 🚨 Honest to god truth! I came to this shop to get my rotors and brake pads installed. From the jump this service was literally horrible. I get there right after they open and the guy in the front desk was insanely rude and acted like he didn’t want to help. He let me know of the price for the labor work since I had brought my own parts and the time it would be ready (5pm same day). When I called later that day around 4:30 to ask if the car was ready they said it would have to stay there til next day. Instantly I knew something was up. He had me on hold after I questioned why since it wasn’t that long of a job and I had dropped it off early in the day. He comes back and tells me it’ll be ready at 5pm. When I get there the same rude guy told me whoever had worked on the car previously stripped one of the nugs on the tire nugs. Funny because the brakes and rotors had been put on and the nug managed to come off just fine… until they tried putting it back on now all of a sudden it’s a stripped nug caused by the last shop that worked on it. NO!! You guys stripped the nug taking it off and tried blaming it on another business! Mind you had that really been the case they would of called to tell me what was going on when first discovering the stripped nug and probably would’ve refused to service it if it was a problem taking it off. I tried making sense of the story that I was being told just to notice these people’s attitude was getting worse by the second. Why are you so aggressive and disrespectful and loud and you messed up on my vehicle? So we all got loud! To summarize, things went left and a bad experience turned ugly when the owner came out and literally threw my money (yes they made me pay before starting the job!!!!!) at me. He kept yelling go some place else and get out of my lot. Lol. Police ended up being called on me and I ended up filing a police report for harassment and threats. Tables turn quick when you’re in the wrong. What ended up being a $200 job ended up costing me more than double because I needed a new bolt and nug that they stripped! I am not writing all this just to write it. SAVE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE AND HEARTACHE AND GO SOMEWHERE TRUSTED! I read a lot of low reviews and still decided to go there. Don’t make the same mistake I made I promise you it is not worth it! Spend that extra $20 and get your moneys worth! I’ve never wrote a review like this but I hope it stays up this is not a hate review this is the truth. Do better business!!

I have had two experiences with Ralph’s and both have been exceptional. Their stores are not fancy but that low overhead must really help their pricing. They did only what was needed without trying to upsell and were very reasonable. Both times have been like dealing with your local mechanic that you see in church on Sunday.

I was told by other mechanic my muffler was broken and I needed to replace it, no other options offered. When I went to Ralph’s shop the mechanic didnt bullshit me and welded the holes and put a hook on it for a $100. Saved me just about $500-600 just like that. The best part, I only asked for a temporary fix because I didnt think there was much that can be done at this point but mechanic was confident my exhaust will last me forever. Very thankful for that!

They were fast, super helpful, and reasonable with price at this location. I’m glad I took a car-savvy friend's advice and went to Raph's Muffler! Highly recommended!
