Randell's and his team are great! I went in for suspension inspection due to heavy vibration ($60 to $120). They found the problem and gave me a reasonable quote to fix multiple issues. Too much $ for my budget now. They gave me tips on what needed to be done and what was not crucial and could wait. They said I owed them nothing even though they spent 1/2 to an hour inspecting and driving the car. They had the patience to go over every detail and gave me tips on what I could do. This shop has shares the truth and would rather turn away work to win my trust. They see the big picture and want to have your business years down the road at the expense of gaining a unneeded service today.

Super knowledgeable/trustworthy team. Price is fair and they do a great job explaining what they're doing and why. I'm not mechanically inclined and could easily be taken advantage of, these guys really make you feel like you can trust them. The owner took the time to take me in the shop and show me the actual problem. I will never go to another shop.

This place is great! I bought my first diesel truck after getting a pre-purchase inspection here. With it being my first diesel I am so glad I found Randall’s. John talked me through all the questions I had and helped me feel more confident in the purchase. The truck I purchased had 194k miles on it so it needed some work to be in top shape for use with my business. They got me in and the work was done in a very timely manner, considering all that need to be done. John, Marvin and the team are very personable and easy to work with. The pricing is also very fair.

Fitted us in at short notice to do a big job. Lyle and taran were amazing at the front desk. They explained things in Lehman's terms and didn't overcomplicate things! The work was done in a timely manner for a fair price. We had an engine light come on a few days after the work was done and they rectified the initial work after trying to save us some money on a part.

Fantastic. I want some of what these guys have for breakfast. I've never been more pleased with an auto repair shop. My situation was bleak. I had just picked up my 1994 Toyota pickup from MACCO on Railroad Blvd. after having it completely painted. On the way to Canopies Plus to pick up my new topper, my right front flexible brake line failed and my brake pedal went to the floor. I had to put it into neutral and use the hand actuated parking/emergency brake to come to a stop. This was on 13 Sep 2024; Friday the 13th baby! Anyway, I called Craig at MACCO to let him know because I wasn't going to be able to return with my new topper he was expecting to paint. He told me to call the mechanic he uses a lot because he could probably squeeze me in short notice because of the emergency. So I did. I got about what I expected... He was short tempered, overworked and not looking to do his best job. He even hung up on me. So after calling around, I found Randall's Automotive. They not only found the one brake hose that failed, they sourced the one for the passenger side and the long hose in the back. The other guy told me he couldn't get just the one that broke for a couple of days after calling his parts suppliers. That's what I expected. But not Randall's. They found all 3 soft lines that my truck uses available in Eugene in less than 10 minutes of me calling them. It was already 10:00 O'clock and they still scheduled me in and finished the job at 2:01 pm! They pulled that off even though they had to wait for me to be towed in... Once I was there, one of their guys even gave me a life over to a breakfast place while I was waiting. I live in Coos Bay and wasn't prepared for an overnighter and I used a rental to come up for my truck. These guys were busy too. They got me in anyway and replaced all my soft hydraulic brake lines and were finished in time for me to go get my new topper and take it back over to MACCO for a paint match to my truck. I seldom write reviews. The place has to be either really good or really bad for me to spend my time on them. Plus, we all know, 5 Star reviews are far too often used and most people just skip over them looking for the dirt. So, if you read this, I'm telling you these guys really earned this 5 Star hit. My truck is 30 years old and not the easiest to find parts for -- Let alone the "can do" attitude these guys had.

Super friendly and knowledgeable shop! I brought my car in to get the spark plugs changed, they went further and recommended a few other services that should be performed as well. They weren't pushy at all about what needs done, they explained why it should be done, and what could happen if I wanted to wait. Knowledgeable, friendly, quick, and fairly priced. There's nothing more I could ask for from an auto shop!

THESE GUYS ARE TOP NOTCH! Our car broke down while in Eugene, thankfully right next to Randall’s. Even though they were super busy they got us on a lift right away & found out what was going on (a mechanic we went to just a few days before had no clue). They were able to source our part & have our car ready within a day & were so helpful in giving us rides to & from a rental car office as well. Amazing customer service. Explained everything in detail & tried to their best to save us money. Sat in the waiting room for a bit & listened to conversations they had with quite a few other customers - haven’t ever head anything like it at a mechanic. They take time to break down what’s going to make sure everyone (even the most clueless with cars!) understands the work they do & why. We live over an hour away & will most likely try to come back. 10/10 use these guys if you’re in the area. Thank you!!!

In the middle of a long road trip I blew a head gasket. The shop worked on it as fast as they could to machine a replacement and get me back on the road again! They even were kind enough to load up all of my belongings and shuttle me to a friend's place in my time of need. Overall very friendly and super helpful. Recently had a strange issue with the engine harness and they worked with my local shop to make sure that everything was taken care of. Honest, fast folks with good communication!!

Randall's is like an old fashioned family doctor but for cars. When my daughter's car reached the point of no return they helped her make a tough decision. Then they helped me find a different car so I could sell mine to her. Best of all, the dealer knocked 2K off their asking price when I showed them Randall's pre purchase inspection. We've been taking our cars to Randall's for over a decade and will continue doing so!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I gave them a call on monday morning 8/25/25 and a guy answered the phone I asked him how much it would cost for a transmission fluid service. He seemed friendly at first then he took down my name and vehicle year, make and model then he said can I call you back it will only be like 10 or 20 minutes. I ofcourse said sure to be nice and that's the last I heard from them. They never bothered to even call me back! This is very unprofessional and I'm not impressed.
