I had an EXPENSIVE brake job that needed to be done on a 16 year old pickup from the North (i.e. *rusted!*). Parts and labor costs were fair. Done in one day, beautiful job, good people, I felt comfortable with this shop.

I came in with minor issues for my ac and needing an oil change. When he called later in the day with his estimates, both were WAY more expensive than they should have been (ac 1300 oil 60) so I immediately cancelled the ac repair. When I came in to get my car, he bumped up the price of my oil change to 82 and said "a couple bucks for a rich lady like you" I was already hesitant to go alone as a young woman, but this had me very upset. I'm sure he's a good repairman but as a young woman I really didn't appreciate the sexist treatment I received.

I came to New Orleans for a business trip from Chicago. My brakes were bad but I had to leave Chicago in a hurry so I couldn't get them fixed before I left. I bought the parts from AutoZone and searched for 5 hours going from one auto repair garage to another and everyone wanted to charge me $250 - $350 even though I had the parts. I went to the mosque for Friday prayer and met a taxi driver who recommended I take my car to Raphael and let me tell you, he was a blessing. I asked him how much he would charge to replace the brake pads and rotors for my car and without any bs or hassle he told me $88+tax. Needless to say, I agreed right away. That is almost exactly what I had in mind and pocket lol. He did an excellent job. Replaced the rotors and pads in under an hour while I waited in the garage. He's a very kind, humble, and joyous man. I highly recommend going to him for all your car repair needs. Thanks Mr. Raphael!!

Stopped in very last minute, near to closing & on game day (where many other businesses were closing early). I needed someone to help change my tire, and Raphael was able to help me out immediately. Tire change was fast and professional, and as I didn’t need a new tire, they very generously did not charge for their time. I’ll be taking all my business here from now on. As a woman, it was also wonderful to stop by a business & feel safe, respected, & not condescended to (which happens a lot with car-related things, as other ladies will know). Can’t recommend these folks highly enough. 🙏🙏🙏

My vehicle was making a grinding noise after going through a construction zone.I was visiting from out of town so everyone suggested regal auto repair. I was able to bring it in and Rafael took a look at it right away. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue the next day so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation and get back on the road. They were honest and up front and with the repairs needed. Definitely a great place to get your repair work done.
