My wife and kids went on a trip to San Antonio and as she was leaving she was having issues with the vehicle I tried calling different Mobil mechanics, and reliable mobile mechanic held up to there name he was there with in an hour of the phone call did not charge me crazy price just cause it was his day off got the vehicle going in a very short time GARY WAS ON POINT ON TIME AND THERE WAS. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THESES 2 mechanics. Gary and John broke a bolt on my car replacing the tensioner and failed to refund me or even provide a resolution. Do NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR

I called and spoke to someone. I was told that the mechanic named Bobby would meet me to my home in 30 mins. I texted and let them know I was home and sent my address and everything that was needed. I received a text saying Ok. I waited and waited and no one ever came or called. It’s the next morning now and still no update as to why they didn’t show up

Pros: They answered right away and arrived at my location pretty fast. The mechanic was swift, courteous and completed the starter replacement faster than a normal shop. The price he quoted was cheap as well. Cons: When it started a LOT of check engine lights came on and I was told by the mechanic that they will go away as I drove the vehicle and that the rough idle was normal thing for new starters. Drove for a bit in "limp mode" (2nd gear only due to check engine lights) and tried every youtube remedy to try and reset the codes. After going through forums of other people doing starter changes on the exact same vehicle they mentioned that they got the same codes because they messed up their crankshaft sensor when installing the new starter. I texted the mechanic to see if they could fix the problem and was told I would receive a quote the next day. Waited to the next day and got nothing. I ended up going to a shop to get the crankshaft sensor replaced which fixed all the problems in my vehicle. In hindsight, I should have taken my vehicle to a shop because I'm sure the cost of having a starter changed at a shop would be cheaper than having a starter changed by a mobile mechanic and having a shop replace the crankshaft sensor. The downside to the speed of the replacement was the following; 1. Damage to the paint on my car 2. Things left unclipped in the vehicle's engine 3. Cosmetic screws missing 4. tool left inside of the hood (it was stuck in a crevasse so luckily no additional damage).

So i called this mechanic and luckily John was able to come by ASAP. He was able to diagnose the issue and explained his method. Not just by trying to start it and making an assumption, like some do. He actually verified. It was the starter. He was very knowledgeable, and explained other minor issues he found along the way, such as a cruise control cable, explaining that its pricy, if u can live w/o cruise control, ur ok. Btw, its an old 02 CRV so i dont need it. His prices were competitive. So i wasnt over spending. But the fact that i found a knowledgeable, honest, and down to earth mechanic....priceless. I think i found my Go-To-Guy.

I broke a bolt off while over tightening a VVT solonoid. Jon quoted me over the phone and came out the same day. He was on time, courteous, and professional. They fixed my problem with no issues at all, and I'd recommend him and Bobby to anyone. As a bonus, he adjusted the timing of my VVTs and made sure every thing ran perfectly with no leaks for free! Great Job guys!

Car was stopped on the side of the access road and he happened to see me, towed me to the nearest parking lot & checked it out. towed me home after saying he’d be back but was stood up. definitely won’t use again, if you want to keep your name good do GOOD by people. he left his rope on my car from when he towed it, thought that would be another reason he came back but nah Adrien could’ve left me where i was.

3/17/2020 UPDATE: They dropped the ball, never communicated with me again!! I had bought the part they said I needed, where they said to buy it, but they didn't come back when they said they would. No explanation, no response to my calls, never heard from them again. (I'm sorry for taking so long to change my rating.) On 10/16/2019 I texted Reliable MM about needing a diagnostic run on my truck, I was called back right away and they came by a few hours later as planned. $40 for a diagnostic was both reasonable and less than what others charge. I am very pleased with their prompt communication and thorough diagnosing of my truck. I am going to have them work on my truck and will update my review if less than 5 stars is warranted.

I had high hopes when he responded immediately and was able to come diagnose within 20 minutes. He was very respectful but he has now stood me up for the repairs twice which is unfortunate. If you need your vehicle to be operable quickly, I would not suggest this business. It is now 2 days later and I still don't have a car. I should have just towed it to Midas or something.

11/10 Stars if I could. John Went above and beyond to fix Starter problem about 45min. -Drove in JBSA Lackland AFB to diagnose & fix. -Got his personal Discount from O’reillys. -30 Sec Diagnostic. -Reasonable and fair with his pricing -Professional, quick communication and responsive. Same day fix. -He is also a brother in Christ which is a huge plus, He wont do some crazy stuff to you like other $money hungry lying mechanics.
