I've been to places where mechanics suggest work on the car that is not necessary, but at Rennnen Auto Services, I have never experienced that. Harold is very knowledgeable especially with Diesel and European cars. Although he is very busy, he always takes the time to explain the issue and what he recommends to be done. I have been a customer since 2021, and I am very satisfied with both the car service and customer service.

OMG, this shop has to be reported, big scam, don't be fooled by the reviews. he gives you an estimate then come back with so much adds on , you end up paying more than if you go to your real dealer. I hate it also when he speaks to his coworker in Spanish. I had to come for check engine light and he charged me for a loose pipe 160$. what a scam, stay away !!!!!!!

They know how to find whatever the issue is and fix it and they are honest! My son just recently bought a car and needed several repairs to be done and Rennen fixed everything! I only came to this shop because my trusted mechanic moved to Tampa, and I seriously regret it. The only reason I tried this place was the 5-star rating, but honestly, I feel completely fooled. From the very first visit, the prices were outrageous. He charged $180 for a basic oil change, which should have been my first red flag. Then came the classic scare tactics — suddenly my car “needed” multiple repairs, and the labor prices for each item were insane. To make things worse, he added random “hazmat fees” of around $50 with no clear explanation. When I asked what that even meant, I got vague, nonsense answers. It felt like he just makes up charges and hopes customers won’t question them. My car has only 40k miles, yet he made it sound like it was barely drivable. It felt like he was trying to create problems just to pad the bill. He also charges strictly “by the book,” even when the actual labor clearly doesn’t justify the cost. If the book says $150, you’re paying $150 — no matter what. There’s zero honesty, zero ethics, and zero transparency. Everything feels like it’s about squeezing as much money as possible from customers. This place seriously made me lose trust in mechanics. Please be careful and don’t make the same mistake I did. I would strongly recommend staying far away.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. They wanted to charge me $150 just for a vehicle diagnosis, which already felt excessive. Then they tried to sell me a brake vacuum pump that costs around $200, but their quote was almost $400 for the part plus $418 in labor. That pricing is completely unreasonable and way beyond what most honest shops would charge. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and untrustworthy. The costs kept adding up with little transparency, and I constantly felt like I was being taken advantage of instead of helped. I strongly recommend people get a second opinion before agreeing to any work here. Please be careful and don’t make the same mistake I did.
