Don't recommend this machine shop, if you're building a motor don't go there please! This machine shop knew there was an issue and never let me know. Do your research on a better Machine shop and make sure you check their previous work. Unfortunate how unprofessional this business is, save yourself time & money!

Took a 350 small block to get reworked, looked good, also had freeze plugs put in.we rebuilt the whole engine from top to bottom, started taking the car for its breaking, in did good for a little while, and blew one of the freeze plug out, also another plug was leaking, do now it's back to pulling the engine to put more new freeze plugs.called,and he said to put some sealer and plug back in.wont go there again!

I had a crank shaft cleaned and polished and he told me it .10 for crank bearings and the same for the rods well I order them and the crank was true. But the rod bearings was not so I took it to another shop and they said he did not polish where the rod bearings go and that I almost messed my motor up now the only reason I gave one star is because I have so I can let people know my experience with richards shop I will not go there again.....

Does excellent work, best prices in this area. Did a set of 862 heads for me. He decked them .020 inch, pressure tested and hot tanked them. He even did a lite buff where the intake and exhaust gasket fits. I will definitely be going back for future work and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again mr. Richard's.

Took my block to him to have it honed. He told me it cleaned up good when it didn’t. I had my dad pick it up because I trusted his word. Come to find out the block was pitted bad and he never told me. Paid him to clean my block and head as well. He missed multiple spots. He took a month longer than what he told me as well. Wasted my money with this guy. Go to a better shop. Not this guy who is a liar and doesn’t know what he’s doing.

If I could give negative stars I would. Dropped a set of Sbc heads off and a ford 302 stroker block for a bolt extraction. They extracted the bolt out of the deck but left all the metal shavings and debris in the cylinders so I have to go get it cleaned yet again. On my Sbc heads they fixed an exhaust bolt hole but neglected to fix the intake rocker stud after I made sure to tell them… said he didn’t check the threads but looked to see that they weren’t pulled out of the head any when the boogered threads are plain as day at the top. He didn’t clean the heads except with a wire brush leaving all the carbon build up still in the exhaust ports, barely cleaned the valves, all the umbrella valve seals weren’t replaced (4/16 never replaced) and most weren’t pushed down on the valve guides, not to mention my valve spring was missing when I picked them up. They didn’t even do a 3 angle valve job like I was told over the phone. Cheap work for cheap quality.

Terrible service, Don’t come here. Very unprofessional snapped 3 bolts and the heli coil on the block. They also knew and never told me about this, told me they didn’t want to work on my motor anymore. Trust me don’t waste your money & go to a machine shop that actually know what they are working with!

Will never take anything back to them paid 100$ for them to hone a 350 block but decided to go ahead to just scuff them up to call and tell me the block was junk and wasn't any good but basically was hoping I would leave the block there because it was a nickel block so I paid 100 took it home honed it up myself and perfect and within spec and round out wouldn't recommend anybody to take anything to their shop and I'm not a person that gives bad reviews but that was just total utter bad business and customers off

screwed up a 6.7 cummins head so bad that we almost had to buy another head. We took it to another shop and they were able to save it with but we had to buy a .060 over gasket but Richard's "Machine" shop is just a hack shop. Never will i bring another component there. His reviews stand true.... 3.9 stars speaks to his quality of work.
