Word-of-mouth and great service are so important today. I am new to the area and was quite hesitant about finding a reliable mechanic for the repairs needed on my Mercedes C300. I needed brake work, an oil change and identification done for a strange noise coming from the transmission. I received a reference to check this place out. Not only did they fix my brakes, complete my oil change but they went way above and beyond to fix a problem with my transmission. They saved me thousands of dollars by finding a solution for me by thinking outside the box. Not only did they take the time to talk through and explain what was going on but they had enough integrity to help me find the best most economical solution. I am forever grateful and 100% happy with the service received by this company. I did not know these guys at all and now have found a life long repair company. Richie, Steve and Michelle were all incredibly kind friendly and helpful during what could've been potentially a stressful and expensive event. Thank you guys again I sincerely appreciate you all!

I could not recommend Richie's more, this is the only mechanic and team I will ever bring my car to and I recommend them to everyone in the area. With an honest and thorough team, through the years they have consistently taken care of my car's problems from the engine and other services. Best service shop I've ever worked with, hands down. I've been to many places that make me feel stupid for not knowing exactly what the issue with my car is ahead of time (and not knowing much about cars in general), or charge me 3 times the price a repair should actually cost because they think I don't know better. Definitely not Richie's. They're respectful, educational, kind, and great at haggling for better prices in your favor. They've even replaced a wiper blade and topped off my oil for free when they had to make a hefty repair to my car. I moved from Medford to Watertown a few months ago and I still won't take my car anywhere else but Richie's.

Stopped in to get a MA inspection on the car I just bought in RI. They took me right away, were done quickly, and were all extremely nice. I sat with a very nice woman named Michelle in the small, clean office while I waited. The conversation I heard while I was there made me think it was definitely a place I would come again. I’ve been going to Richies for almost 6 years now, ever since I was referred to him by a coworker. I regret not taking my truck there sooner because Richie always provides honest and reliable work. One the best experiences I've had with people in general, before even going into detail about how great the service was. My car's engine was misfiring, and on a Saturday, with only 4 hours till they closed, Richie took my car, diagnosed it, and fixed it, for a fair price. Michelle, who handles the administrative work, was extremely pleasant, and everyone there just made you feel like you were being taken care of individually. I would highly recommend this shop to anybody who needs work done on their car. Lovely people and great service. This is my new go-to mechanic

I usually don't do reviews but i had to for this place! Richie's is awesome! Our daughters Jeep broke down right before her moving half way across the country. She had it at another shop and they totally got it wrong when it came to what was wrong with it. We told her to pick it up and bring it somewhere else. This is when she brought it to Richie's. They got it in and looked at it and had all the repairs done in no time. My husband went to help her move and Richie called and asked if my husband had 15 minutes to run by there so he could put the Jeep on the lift to show my husband what the problems are. Honest owner and staff! The only thing upsetting is that she just found out about this place right before moving. We would have stayed with them NO doubt! Highly recommended!!!

The rating is well-deserved! You need a referral to get in, but when you do, Richard and his employees do a great job. They kindly got me fixed up with a new tailpipe on a Saturday morning in about an hour. And while I waited, a steady stream of pleased long-time customers paraded past, picking up their vehicles, paying their bills, and chatting like old friends. The most amazing most professional and welcoming service center I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They are honest and kind and pretty much saved my live I came in to get an inspection sticker after having all new tires and an alignment done by tire where house and they had left something loose and it was ready to fall off I could have gotten really badly hurt. Richie noticed it during and inspection and not only fixed it for me but was very kind about the whole situation. Amazing service 100% would recommend for everything from a sticker to full on work being done on a vehicle.

Richie is one of the most kind-hearted, caring, and genuine person I've ever met. I've been getting my oil changed by him for 3 years now and he goes above and beyond to take great care of my car. To speak to how amazing of a man and business owner he is, I walked in yesterday asking for help to change out my windshield wipers.
