UPDATE May 17, 2024: Tried taking the tires off to do a brake change (following getting it into my garage after this shop looked at it), when trying to take the tires off we realized they used an impact gun and torqued it to what we’re guessing is about 150+/- lbs when it’s supposed to be sitting at around 80. Because they torqued it so high, the calipers are now messed up and will not come off without torching it. They also decided to leave my wife a voicemail saying it’s “all our fault that everything was messed up.” If the fuse was messed up the car wouldn’t have started to begin with and we wouldn’t have been able to take it to the shop, we were only having AC/heat and radio issues because of a separate fuse. Talking to the tow guy and other mechanics, the fuse that faulted was a result of the mechanic at this shop not disconnecting the battery prior to checking fuses, clearly it was a result of the mechanic being negligent. OR (May 16, 2024): Took my wife’s car in to get looked at, only was having problems with the AC/Heater and radio not running (fuse problem, has brand new battery). Had no problems with anything else, knew brakes needed to be changed. Noticed that their audit was all handwritten and nothing was actually entered in by the receptionist on a system/computer. They brought us into the back to look at the car and even showed us the fuse that was faulted. They tried charging us a fee for changing it (something we initially did not ask for). We parked the car and tried driving it a day later, now it will not start, engine light, oil light, tire light are all on. Along with this, we tried reaching out to ask what fuse was faulted and person on the phone said “figure it out yourself” and this was after she hung up on us the first time when we initially asked the question. I do not appreciate the ridiculous amount you guys tried charging me for a simple fuse, and tried quoting me for a brake change, and I especially do not appreciate you sabotaging my vehicle. I work hard for my money, as an Active Duty Marine I barely make minimum wage as is, I don’t appreciate the money you were trying to leach off of me. You will be hearing from my lawyers and I will be holding you all accountable for this negligence. Do not do business with these crooks, do not believe their lie about “not being in a database”

These guys are great. And 2017 I moved 200 miles north, recently I was in town and my car broke down. I called them and they retrieved my vehicle and fixed it the same day. I cannot think them enough for their fast friendly service because the following day I had to be back up north for a very important doctors appointment. When I did live in town they were my go to mechanics and they remembered me and got me back in the road. Cannot thank them enough.

They took me in first thing in the morning at -7°. I had a flat tire. They found a small piece of metal in it and were able to patch it and get me on my way. The bill was extremely reasonable and Paul even walked me out to my car so I would not slip on the ice. This was not my first experience here, and both times they were very accommodating, reasonably priced and super nice!!

I had a rattling noise in the front end of my car. I scheduled an appointment for 10AM, dropped the car off. They called me back with their diagnosis, new front tie rods/struts, around 11:30AM. The whole team has always been fantastic, my family has been going to them for years for every vehicle need. Great service, quality work and they don’t believe in overcharging for services. Always willing to help out - I got a flat tire last summer, was 60 miles away from my destination and they were able to fit me in immediately so I was able to keep going to work, giving me a gently used tire that they had in back for a steal instead of charging me for a brand new one. One of the many pleasant experiences we’ve had! I recommend to everyone looking for a garage in the Milwaukee area.

Richlen and Sons is my go to shop for all my car repairs. After learning my father had gone here numerous times in the 80’s and 90’s I decided to start taking my car here after moving back to the area. They are honest, knowledgeable and very reasonable on their prices. Call ahead though to make an appointment because they fill up fast. No worries because that just shows the following they have in the area. From oil changes, engine work, brakes and suspension, their work is always top notch. I highly recommend this local shop.

On Feb 13th, the snow caught my car and I hit a wall. My car was driving all sorts of weird! I was recommended to go to this shop, but was worried for the worst. On the 14th in the morning, I walked in and explained the situation, and couldn't have been more pleased with the team and service. (I was having a rough day and was nearly in tears! 😅😓) Not only were they able to fit me in, but they were able to fix the bent rod to my wheel and allign my steering. They left me feeling so relieved, and I can't wait to go back to them for more (hopefully just maintenance! 😅) work here on out!! Incredible experience! Came in for a 2nd opinion and based on reviews. The first appointment they honestly shared they would not do an alignment as it wouldn't last due to repair needs. They weren't able to get a full list of the issue that day so asked me to come back. No charge for the stop. I was going to be out of town so called and asked if I could drop it off for a full look and estimate of needs. They said no problem. By the next day, Paul called and shared the laundry list of known issues as well as some, "we won't know unless we get there" parts and included those in the total estimate. Even shared that if customer pays with a credit card, there is an additional 3% fee, just so I was aware. It was still less than the 1st shop by hundreds so I said go for it and they ordered the parts. Less than a day later, I had a message that not only was it done, but they didn't need to replace the "we won't know until we get there" parts so I was under the estimate by another few hundred. They even offered to get another item off my to do list since it was there but shared, "nothing you need right now but you will soon". I came to pick up, car was ready to go, in and out in 10 minutes. Cannot say enough good things!!!! Already planning to call and schedule my son's truck for a look over. THANK YOU PAUL AND TEAM!!!!!

This was the only place out of the 8 in the area that I called that could get my daughter's car in on short notice on a Friday when it failed to start on the way to school (everyone else said not until Monday or Tuesday). Not only were they efficient, they were fair on price and had her rolling the same day so she didn't miss her cheer state competition that weekend. The next week, I scheduled to take my car there to have them investigate a noise that two previous shops I'd taken it to had failed to locate. They found the problem and had it fixed within two hours. I'm no longer embarrassed going over bumps! Highly impressed and will be coming here for my future car needs!
