Hey guys my name is John Cole I have a Mazda Tribune 2001 the alternator went out on it. Well in this model you have to take off a bunch of stuff to get to the alternator these guys right here not only did they did a great job they were going to send an Uber to get me I tow truck driver they use was awesome my car was ready in 5 hours they kept it overnight to make sure everything worked good. My sister was paying the bill and they made it so easy for her to do so click of a button I'm moving the mouse and it was done. So if you do have car trouble I recommend Rick and Ray's they're off the chain the guys are polite they got a pretty cool office too. Thank you guys my car runs great I appreciate the work you did for me.

I always take my car to Rick and Ray’s because I trust them. They have been in business for as long as I can remember and women always need a place they can trust their cars with! They don’t overcharge and they are very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough nice things about their employees either! They are busy so make sure to call and make an appointment.

I had a misfire....and needed somewhere close to get it looked at..so I made an appointment...and I walked away with the most THOROUGH breakdown of what was wrong with my vehicle with a level of detail that have never seen done or had done in all my years of driving...it broke down what was wrong....what problems it could bring...why it needed to be fixed...PICTURES AND ALL...and the cost of repairs....now it was more than I could afford at the time ..but I have NO DOUBT that if I had the money...I would not have to worry about it being done right...and if I had the money....they would do all of my car repairs...

Great customer service and professionalism. Andrew was very thorough in explaining what type of a/c work was going to be done and also pointed out my wheel bearing needed to be repaired. My only negative comment would be the location and parking availability. It sucks. Overall I'm happy with the work performed on my "81 Corolla wagon. On a negative note I made it all the way home to Hurst and my water pump went out. Antifreeze everywhere. 😜

I won’t go anywhere else but Rick & Rays. They do a great job for a reasonable price. What I like the most is the transparency through the whole process. They are very professional and would highly recommend to anyone with a VW. Ask for Andrew he’s great to work with.

My second time coming to this shop. Are they the cheapest place in town? No. But you get what you pay for. They are thorough, knowledgeable and attentive. And, most importantly (to me), Andrew knows his VW's!

I dont recommend this place at all rather take it to dealer than this shop. They told me just to check wire and sensor its $1000 just to check it which is completely robbing customers.Dont go this place at all. They will rip you off i cant reply you so im adding here.I told him speaker was on and off after i hit the bump not after i did repair with other people.i told him clealry issue was with amplifier in the rear and be just told 1 grand to diganosis.i dont think any workshop or dealership charge that much to diagnose.Im sure you guys will lose a lot of customer with like this issue.

I had them do a smog test on my 2023 Miata. Their people were easy to deal with, they performed the test in the time they estimated.

I have had many mechanics work on my 2008 Pontiac Solstice sports car only for the repair not to last. (That's why I've had man repeat service calls!). Rick and Ray's was a one stop repair job. Not only is it fixed but it's fixed Right! Rick n Ray's Auto Plaza uses a thorough inspection system and recommends work that ultimately needs to be done. Thank you Andrew for following through until the work was completed correctly! As Arnold Swarzenegger said; "I'll be back!"...

Rick and Ray's Auto has been a beacon of hope in a time of turmoil for my family and I. Through a series of unfortunate events that saw me without pay from the air force for three months and our credit cards pushed to their limit, to my wife's car accident that left her without a vehicle for a further three months due to a part shortage, it seemed as though our luck couldn't get any worse. But then, it did. Just three short weeks after finally getting the car back, the transmission failed. It felt like we had hit rock bottom. Enter Rick and Ray's Auto. Their team was the silver lining in our cloud of misfortune. Not only did they provide exceptional service in fixing our car, but they also offered a flexible payment plan which was a godsend given our financial predicament. This gesture of understanding and compassion was a testament to their exceptional customer service and their genuine care for the community they serve. Their support didn't just fix our car, it also restored our faith in humanity during these trying times. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to Rick and Ray's Auto. They go beyond just being a reliable auto repair shop, they are a shining example of what great service and kindness look like in action. If you are ever in need of auto services, I wholeheartedly recommend Rick and Ray's Auto. They truly saved our day and I have no doubt they will do the same for you. A definite 5-star experience! Thank you Mr. Andrew and the Staff all staff members at Rick and Ray's Auto.

I called to get an estimate from Chuck on some simple maintenance items for my car. I was basically given "we don't want your business prices". $160 for a engine air filter, $160 for a cabin air filter, $420 to change spark plugs on a 4 cylinder engine. All of these prices are 50%-100% higher than the Volkswagen dealership down the road. I would be very careful in seeking services from this business.

My work vehicle broke down and these guys were great. I wasn't able to get the truck there for my first appointment but they were able to reschedule me when I called them the next day after. I apologize they were totally understanding and took care of the truck and got me back to work. I would definitely use them again. They also will surprise most people because it's more like a dealership shop. The way it operates you have a front desk secretary and then you also have a service writer. Plenty of bays. Plenty of good mechanics. They keep things flowing and they respect your vehicle. You can expect to get it back as clean or cleaner than you left it with a nice floor mat to protect your carpets. Not that my truck has any carpets in it but they still put one in lol

MAKE SURE TO READ REVIEWS BEFORE CALLING or VISITING!!! So I was searching on Google for auto shops that specialize in my make a vehicle and I came across Rick & Rays. So I decided to give them a call and when the receptionist answered, she was very upbeat and pleasant and I proceeded to let her know I was calling to get a quote on some work I needed done on my vehicle so she transferred me to a man name Chuck. Now this is the whole changes... I informed him that I was needing a certain part on my car replaced and I was calling to get a quote on how much they would charge me to do so. He didn't ask me well why do you need to replace it? I told him because it needed to be replaced and then he asked me well. How do you know that? Again another odd question, but I answered anyways, and informed him that I had taken it earlier today and got a diagnostic ran on it. And I was told that I needed to replace this part but the quote that they gave me was not something I was prepared to hear so I am now calling around to different shops to see what else I can find. There was a little chuckle in his voice and then he asked me well, ma'am how many shops have you called today? So then I said, why does that matter if I'm calling you at the moment? Once again, another question as he is chuckling . He asked me well what are they quoting you. So then, I said, sir, for one I do not feel comfortable answering that question because you have already asked me what I thought were irrelevant questions to the question I originally asked you . For two, as a woman, I have been taking advantage of multiple times going into auto shops so now I am very cautious and aware of what is going on. So then he proceeded to tell me that he understands and respects how I feel but he was just needing to ask some questions so he can get the info I was requesting . So then he asked me well. Did they tell you the code that popped up? Which they did I just did not have it in front of me at the time. So then he finally asked about the car so I tell him to make the model of the year ... it you won't believe his response... Another ?. He asked what is your last name ma'am? That was my breaking point because I do not feel how all that other information was needed in order just to give me a quote. Yes I had called other places, but none of them asked me the questions you asked. None of them giggled. So I told him just forget everything I'm no longer interested that he's turn my business away and anybody else that I know I will tell them about them because I'm trying to call you to possibly spend money at your business and for you to have an attitude is mind boggling. If someone is calling about a quote about a repair, it's probably because it's needed. I have never known anyone to do unnecessary repairs on their vehicle. I understand taking care of normal maintenance on the vehicle but I was calling about a repair about something that was going bad. This taught me a lesson to check the reviews before calling because I had that done so today it would've saved me a headache!

I recently called this auto shop to request a straightforward quote for a battery replacement, providing all the necessary details including the year, make, and model of my vehicle. To my surprise and frustration, the representative insisted that I "HAD" to bring the car in physically just to receive any pricing information. This policy strikes me as utterly ridiculous and customer-unfriendly—why can't they offer even a ballpark estimate over the phone based on standard specs? In an industry where transparency builds trust, this approach immediately raised red flags for me. It feels like a tactic to get your vehicle "in the door" and then potentially upsell or overcharge once it's there, holding it hostage in a sense (like the old "bird in hand" scenario where you're committed before knowing the full cost). I've dealt with plenty of reputable mechanics who provide rough quotes remotely without issue, so this experience left me leery of being taken advantage of. As a result, I'll be steering clear of this place entirely and recommending others do the same. If basic customer service like this is lacking, I can only imagine what the actual service might entail. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your automotive needs.

They identified issues with my car, and broke down the pricing for each. They repaired vehicle in timely manor. My wife was impressed with their lobby as it is not like most lobby areas for car shops.

I have an older Mercedes which makes it tough to find a shop and mechanic that use the right parts and have the experience to do even the most basic service. Andrew and the guys in the shop have definitely won my business through transparency, quality, experience and quick turnaround time. Pricing is a little on the higher side of the average, but with them, you actually get the value, so hats off

I don’t know why this place would ever have a bad review, I’m truly thankful. I called them & told them what’s going on and they told me to bring my Mercedes right on in. The next day they got to the root of the problem & by the following day my car was back running properly. After going through previous mechanics with no success , and me being a woman makes things no better … needless to say this place got right on it & the price is very much reasonable in my opinion. If you want something done RIGHT , this is the place to go. Thank you guys so much!!!!

I highly recommend Rick & Rays Auto Plaza. They did a complete check up on my BMW. They were very honest and didn't try to make any unnecessary repairs. It was a simple battery replacement. They were very kind and helpful.
