I had Albert and his brother resurface my ls block. They did a heck of a job. Back ground on my block! It's a boosted TT LQ4 stroked. It leaned out and melted the heads and the deck on the driver's side. I welded it up and know one wanted to resurface it. Came out 👍. Ready for assembly. Thank you guys at Rick's Machine shop

Was debating getting some heads rebuilt or going with aftermarket on the 350 sbc in my truck. Came in and spoke with Albert about the cost of rebuilding, looking in their catalogs for reman, and he called a vendor to get pricing on aftermarket heads. Ended up getting me a really good price on some aluminum heads, even cheaper than buying them direct from the same manufacturer myself. I got them installed and they run great!

Rick’s Machine Shop is the truth! The master mechanic Albert is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet when it comes to getting your vehicle repaired! He will make sure it’s 110% repaired before he hand it back to you! Him and his crew are going to go above and beyond to make sure they find the reason for the mechanical failure and get it repaired correctly. The honesty with his customers and knowledge of his craft is like no other. He told me that he would get my engine back to top running condition and that’s exactly what he did. So glad I came across Rick's Machine Shop! I had them clean and deck my Gen V LT, installed new cam bearings, polished the crankshaft and clean the parts for my build. I could not be more pleased. The service was quick and at an awesome price. The guys are amazing and cool to talk to. I highly recommend going to Rick's Machine Shop if you need in machine work done or you want them to build an engine for you because they do that too. Reviewing 1 star because since I brought my engine to Rick he sounded like a A1 guy but after I paid him and left my engine with him it all went downhill after no communication no updates I would have to keep calling him to even get a response on my engine the time frame he gave me was 1-2 months turned into 4-5 months even after all that I took my engine to a real builder names Craig racing he informed me that Rick didn't even bore out all my piston walls the same so I had to get it re bored never go to this scammer only does good work on your engine if your known or famous not for people who actually wanna spend money with him worst service from a machine shop ever !!!!!

Unless you plan on your engine being down for months I would not take it here. I dropped off my engine there was literally no communication every time I called the story changed I was very patient I paid up front and got very horrible service. When I got my engine home and started assembly, the can that he provided me was the wrong one. That however was not his fault it appears that it was boxed wrong from the factory. I took it back to him for replacement which has been about 2 weeks now. And now he won't answer the phone or call me back when I leave a message. At this point he can keep the cam and he can keep the money I don't think I'll ever see it again anyway he obviously needs it more than I do. As for any repeat business or referrals that ship has sailed. I should add you can't see him without an appointment because he has an 8 ft chain link fence with barbed wire all around it that he keeps locked 24/7 the entire outfit seems a little sketchy. Update: After being ghosted for another week Albert sends me a Text saying the cam issue would be resolved by 1pm I could come at 2pm. I went there and called to let him know I was at the gate. He walks out and hands me the incorrect cam back along with $114.00 and says I saw what you wrote. All this time all I asked for was for him to communicate with me. He is a nice enough guy but is not taking care of customers. My engine has been down for 7 months. I should also mention I paid in full upfront. I feel like once he had the money, I was no longer a top priority.

Shoutout to Rick's Machine Shop/RMS, Got my motor rebuilt by them. Always kept me updated & gave me alooot of knowledge about motors. Albert & David, helped me out big time!! Communication was A1!
