Vanessa was our mechanic for a few years before we moved to another state. We still haven’t found another mechanic as good and as honest as her. She diagnosed and fixed every issue in our 2006 4Runner as well as our 1999 Camry and had them running beautifully. Seriously contemplating making a 12 hour drive just have her work on our cars.

Vanessa is the bomb. I took my 2002 Toyota 4 Runner. In for a check up in March. After I bought it. My poor truck had a substantial oil leak. I was really hoping that it was going to be okay. When I walked into Rising Sun. I was so overwhelmed. I was hoping that this 21 yr old truck wasn't a big mistake. Esp with this oil leak. After I left and came back in a few weeks. I had a BETTER mind set. And Vanessa was ELATED that my truck was okay now. She worked her magic. Now, my truck runs like a boss. I'm STOKED that I was referred to her garage from the previous owner of my truck. Esp. since they are affordable. But, most importantly. They are honest. Hands down. Vanessa is also the first female mechanic I ever met. In the 30yrs that I've been driving. Plus, they ONLY work on foreign car's. !!!!YAY!!!! Thank U so much. Rising Sun Automotive. U TOTALLY RULE.

First time customer here, I just bought used higher mileage 2004 4Runner and needed it inspected. The whole experience had me feeling like a VIP customer even though I never came here before! From the amazing customer service to a real down to earth no nonsense diagnosis of my vehicle, I honestly can say, if you own a Toyota, this is the only shop you should bring it to!!

I brought my Civic in because of some car issues I was having, and after my appointment, one of the mechanics sat down with me, and had an honest conversation about what was wrong with my car and what it needed. After receiving the quote, she even helped me figure out some ways to help save me money, and was willing to be flexible about me ordering my own parts. Then another time, she spent almost an hour with me on the phone, helping me with questions about my car. Unfortunately, the quote I received was just a little outside of my budget, but the service and people that work here are stellar, you won’t regret bringing your car to these folks. They will look after your vehicle like it’s their own.

You've earned a new customer for life! The Burg Automotive told me my control arms needed replacing urgently due to cracking in the rubber bushings. They quoted me just under $1500. A friend recommended I get a second opinion from Rising Sun. I was quoted a lower price. Dropped of my car at 9Am and around 2PM Vanessa called and informed me she looked over the entire car and It's in great shape and that although there are some cracks in the rubber bushings, the control arms are nowhere near needing replaced. Thank you Vanessa! You and your staff are honest and polite!

When I got here I was met with extremely knowledgeable mechanics, above and beyond kindness and customer service, and people that only want to genuinely help you and only fix what needs to be fixed and NOT try to get you for everything they can. They diagnosed the issue my car was having and quickly fixed it for me with a smile. I can tell this shop is run off of good moral and strong integrity and they will always have my business for now on.

Took my 2009 Toyota Camry there to get it checked out for my son so he can drive it. The car had a few issues that needed addressed. Vanessa went into great detail and saved me at least a grand if not more. I was not even charged for running tests on the car and it was there for most of the day! I have seen great reviews on Google and Rising Son is the real deal!! That is the only place I will take my vehicles to from now on!

I took my 2009 Toyota Matrix to Rising Sun out of desperation and because they came highly recommended. My car was serviced twice at Hobson's Auto Repair for an Air Conditioner issue. The last time they attempted to fix it, Hobson replaced my compressor with a brand new one that failed a week later due to a faulty, cheap, foreign-made part. The photo shows the defective part sold by Hobson. While that might not have been Hobson's fault, I wasn't going to trust them a third time to get it right. Vanessa and her team got it fixed the next day when I had it towed there after breaking down on the Howard Frankland Bridge with a busted fanbelt because the bolts on the new compressor came loose and caused the pulley to stop moving. She replaced the compressor with an OEM part from Japan and not a cheap one from China. And to top that off, her price was less that Hobson's for the equivalent work. When I contacted Hobsons about the incident he said I should have taken it back to him because the part was under a 2 year warranty. He also said I could have asked for the better part for an extra $400.00 but he never told me when we were discussing the compressor replacement. If I trusted Hobson's, I would have taken it back to him. At this point I did not. I am out the total cost of the repair from Hobson which was $1300.00, not to mention what I paid Rising Sun for doing the job right! Bottom line: take your car to Rising Sun if you want it fixed right the first time!

I had the extreme pleasure of doing work with this repair shop. It came to me as a referral from a friend and I was very impressed from the first phone call to the end result. Vanessa and her staff were outstanding. I had several things going on with my Titan pickup that I spent a small fortune on taking it to 2 other shops with no results. Rising Sun found the issue and fixed them properly. I have found a truly honest and reliable shop that will have all my future repair needs. Thanks to Vanessa and her staff. Not 1 but 2 👍

My "Go-To Mechanic" is always a great experience and Vanessa is a genuine Ace Mechanic! When you find a gem of a person and a company that is there for you when you need them, someone that cares for their craft and the customers needs taken care of, you have to tell everyone about them! Rising Sun Auto has taken excellent care of several of my vehicles through the years and overtime, my friends and family have all used them with great satisfaction as well. Nothing could sway me from these fine folks.
