These folks are honest and do what they say for how mnuich they said they would do it. They are going to have my business, even if I moved further away. I would rather pay more money to have my car towed to this auto shop than go to a closer shop I do not know.

Called Romero last year about some blown fuzes when I jumped a car backwards... Ended up going with the dealership at the time but Romero said he would do it for half the price (the dealership was ripping me off) and I was able to negotiate the dealership down. Recently, got a hood sensor and blown fan motor fixed. So far the car is running great and I was given a fair price. Highly recommend this mechanic.

Just picked up my car and I’m very happy. I had Rodriguez Auto Shop tow my car over to their shop that I had originally brought to the Toyota dealership. They gave me a great price for the part and service that I needed, and did it all very quickly. Romero was super nice and great at explaining what was going on with my car. I will be back if I ever need future car repairs!

The most honest mechanic I have found in a long time. Have had about three major repairs completed here. Will always go back with all my vehicles as long as he is in business........back again for a alternator replacement. Again great service and very helpful. Sad it won't be ready till tomorrow....but glad it's with someone I can trust

For someone who knows nothing about cars, they made it easy to understand and made me feel confident about deciding on what repairs I wanted to go forward with. I have nothing but such fantastic things to say about this shop. If you are a women and tired of getting scammed because car shops take advantage of you -come here. They are honest , kind and charge the most reasonable prices you'll get in downtown Chicago for work you can trust. They know me by name here and always greet me warmly. They get the job done fast too. I just genuinely only trust these guys now and i am so happy i found them. I recommend them to everyone i know and try to spread the word about them because they are honest and do a great job every time!

I absolutely recommend them! They do great work and I've always been pleased with the results I've gotten. They also are very transparent about pricing and have gone out of their way to explain what work needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and how long I would realistically have to wait before it really becomes a priority. They've always worked within my budget and saved me money when compared to other places I could have gone, and often have thrown in additional repairs at no added cost. Everyone I've met there is very trustworthy and friendly and has made taking my car in a much less stressful experience!

I had a really great experience here. I came in with no appointment and they looked at my car right away. They checked it thoroughly, and it turned out the issue was a bent dust shield which they fixed. They looked at the car for at least 20-30 minutes and did not charge me anything for checking it over and fixing the dust shield. Highly recommend!!
