Paid him to put in a transmission. He wouldn’t let me test drive it before I paid him because he “test drove” it. My car wouldn’t start next day I towed it back in to him he cleared the codes and stated nothing wrong with my car. A few weeks later same code pops back up now it’s the transmission “gone bad”. He never clearly fixed the problem and now he refuses to fix anything because of the damage he’s already done

Please don’t take this as hate. But buyers beware took my truck to get a rebuild. After getting my truck out it runs worst then it did before I took it there they are so unprofessional everyday it’s something different I need this I need that bottom line worst experience every with a so called real professional shop

Was my Transmission go to Shop! Change in Management? last Transmission was just over Warranty Date & just over the Mileage and Reverse went out and was told a Complete rebuild was necessary and the kicker was more than $400 than last time! Every year & a half going to cost $2,200 for something to go wrong? NO THANKS!

I've used this shop on a few accounts resulting in my satisfaction, but now under new ownership, my last encounter here left me disappointed. They unsuccessfully repaired my transmission. Speculatively they didn't replace everything In the rebuild that they were paid $1200 for. After the transmission was installed, it failed the next day. It appears that the pump and bushing wasn't replaced. The transmission was a remanufactured unit and all of the parts looked new before they even touched it. Sometimes people in their line of work have been known to "cut corners ". Especially when original parts look good enough to pass for new. I'm a 35+ year mechanic. You can't get up early enough to fool me. They didn't want to own up to their error which led to pump seal failure, but insisted that there was fault in the installation. (how convenient). They did end up repairing the problem after the family mechanic removed the transmission again. I just felt cheated. Seems as though this shop has lost the integrity that Ronnie built over the last 40 years. Sad.

I would not recommend them to nobody my vihicle was running perfect all I wanted for them to was install a transmission that I had purchased. When I got my car it has not been drivable since they had it. Now I got to junk it because it won’t pass inspection! I recommend them to know one!

😅Wow okay so….. I took a risk and drove my personal vehicle to Atlanta and long story short, the Transmission went out five minutes before I got to my exit. Luckily I have friends in the city and they quickly pointed me towards this shop. Ronnie and Des treated me with more courtesy and professionalism that I have ever received from an auto repair shop. These guys seem to be extremely confident in their work and their confidence transferred to me leaving me at ease while they took care of my truck. Their prices are excellent and their service is expeditious. My truck was taken care of in half the time that they quoted and I love the many options and recommendations they gave me to Ensure my complete satisfaction. They also were able to perfectly address a issue that came up while I was hundreds of miles away! This car will never have a transmission issue again but next time I need a repair on another car I would like to take it almost 400 miles to Ronnie!!!!! By the way….. it looks like Des can cradle a transmission in his arms like a baby lol🥰

Ronnie's was great! They rebuilt the transmission in my Chevy Impala and it drives smooth as hell now! I've seen some complaints here about this shop taking several weeks to rebuild a transmission. I'm sorry, but that kind of work takes a long time and is meticulous and time consuming. It's basically the most complicated component of any vehicle. Not to mention that car part supply chains are very screwed up right now, as well as a technician shortage taking place in the United States. Their prices were very fair in my opinion. Plenty of other shops may have finished slightly faster, but the quotes I received from other transmission shops were nearly double the price, so I'd say it's worth it. Friendly service and patient enough to address all of my questions and concerns.

My car is back on a warranty job that wasn’t done right the first time. Now it’s been almost 5months of nothing but excuses! A year and a half total I’ve been without my car. I’ve worked on cars all my life so no game can be ran on me. I’m bout to get lawyers involved soon. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!
