I went to Roy's Automotive after calling around for a major repair on my car. Another shop had diagnosed the problem with my car during an oil change. Roy's quoted me a price that was half the competition's over the phone and agreed to give me a second opinion to see if the issue needed to be fixed. After they checked out my car, they told me that the other auto shop had most likely been trying to get more money out of me, because the issue was minor at best and did not need to be resolved, let alone for the hundreds of dollars the other shop had quoted me. They did this diagnostic for free and said that I could bring the car back in a couple of weeks just so they could be sure the issue was fine. It is nice to know that there are still honest people in the world. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, friendly service at a fair price.

I needed the O2 sensors replaced on my Class B motor home. 2 places had turned me down, because it involved cutting the exhaust, replace the sensor, then weld exhaust back in place. It was done quickly and for a reasonable price. They really are about their customers. I highly recommend their service.

I was driving down Woodman when my car abruptly just stopped accelerating out of no where. I called my boyfriend to help me and Roy’s saw us and took time out of their busy schedule to run outside and help push my car. Then, offered to look at it and diagnose with no appointment. I can never thank them enough and highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back if I have any other car issues.

I had my truck dropped off this morning to have a wheel bearing replaced. Got a call this afternoon stating that he doesn't feel comfortable charging me for work when the frame is in such bad condition. Roy could have done the work and charged me but he didn't. Also spent time patiently answering my questions after closing hours about my truck and other vehicle. A man of honesty and integrity. Roy is awesome. He really helped my daughter out. She had a horrible experience for her first time taking a car to a shop in Dayton. Roy was able to look at her car and let her know everything was good. He didn’t charge her a diagnostic fee. Do you want someone that’s gonna be down to earth and trustworthy go to him.
