I went to this place to get my car fixed. They charge me $1500 to work on brake system which normally costs $200 in other place and the problem was on front side. They fix the fromt side and lock the backside caliper that fails after 3 days which was normally has no problem. Just to create another job for themself. That's so stupid. I will never ever go to this place. Please stay there while u repair ur car and before deciding ask another shop about the cost. In my case it was $1500 vs $200 plus my time.

Took my car into 1313 repair shop. Spoke to manager Jim Swink. Told them I had a low pressure tire. Was billed for service, but nothing was done. They tried fixing the wrong tire. I was asked to pay double if I wanted my tire fixed. Dont bring your car here, if they cant fix a simple tire. My tire still has a big giant clear as day nail in it.

I got a safety inspection and exhaust test. My car is a 2007 Jetta so I was a bit worried they might try to nickel/dime me for some repair, even though the car is fully functional. Quick and easy, no issues, no wait. I'll be back in 12 months.

Prompt, quick emissions and safety inspections every single time. The mechanic even stopped mid inspection to tell me that my wife had already done the inspection and didn’t charge me anything for him having hooked up the equipment. We’ll definitely be doing our inspections here moving forward.

I've been here for emissions inspection and they were quick - no complaints. Today I went in to get my tire patch, but not before calling my dad for advice first, like any independent woman would do. He said "make sure they don't try to overcharge you to dismount the wheel and re-align, etc." He told me approximately what it should cost and how long it should take. These guys are professional and friendly, they told me it would take no more than 20 minutes. They did the quick patch, charged me $27 and sent me on my way. It feels good knowing there's a place I can go to without having to worry that they're going to try to overcharge me for things I don't really need. They also have a clean waiting room for customers, or you can walk over to Starbucks while you wait. Highly recommend!

They did not complete our state inspection, but still charged us anyway AND failed our car all because they didn't have the part they needed to complete the inspection. We've had this car for 5yrs and have never had an issue getting it inspected elsewhere. Won't be returning again.

Jim and his techs at Fairlington Service Center brought my 2006 Ford Explorer V8 back to life, after 170k original miles, and had the expertise to do so while keeping costs to a minimum. With gas prices and used car prices having sailed over the last 3 years, I would recommend bringing your older vehicle to Jim and his people. Extend the life of your car until prices make sense again. These folks can help, no complications. 8 spark plugs replaced, 0 plugs broken in the cylinder. Try that at your shop.

I've been going to these guys for years. To do off warranty work. They service my escalade and my porsche. I have never had anything but good things to say about these guys and their work. They do the work at a very high level of quality for a fraction of what the dealers charge. Jim and his team are amazing. And I will continue to have them service all of my vehicles for as long as they exist.

Let me start by saying I'm a diy car guy. I do most work myself, but I needed an alignment after installing new shocks/springs so I had to take it to a shop. They use all the latest laser tech to dial it in. They were honest, friendly, and fast! I didn't have an appointment and they finished my car in just over an hour. Highly recommended over the big name shops!

Had my annual inspection done here - they were really quick and efficient with the process. Price was 20$ which I believe is pretty standard. The nicer part of the inspection was the advice I was given. I had initially failed my inspection due to brake and tire issues. The mechanic told me the price range I should look for when searching for a repair shop and what questions to ask. He said Royal was a bit expensive for repairs, hence why I should try elsewhere. I was truly impressed by the sheer honesty and solid advice I was given. Sure enough, it fell into my favor and I found affordable repair shops and received my inspection pass a week later. For those who are not aware, if you return to your safety inspector within 15 days of a failed inspection, re-inspection is 1$.

I have had my car serviced here several times. Initially I was impressed when they did tires and an oil change - they were quick, friendly and charged a competitive rate. More recently, I had a check engine light come on for a crank position sensor and the car shut down intermittently while driving. They replaced the sensor without any further diagnostics and it did not repair the problem. When I brought the car back in, they scanned for codes but did not even want to put the car back on the lift to examine the sensor. I think these guys are fine for basic car maintenance - oil changes, etc - but I do not have faith in their ability to diagnose and repair anything more complex. It also doesn't sit well with me that they were uninterested in standing by their work/parts.

Said they do alignments so I dropped off my car to get the alignment done as well as have tires put on. Show up bright and early only to be told they dont do alignments. Thank you for not completely wasting my time, only partially wasting my time. Also, stop overinflating tires, pulled out of there and it was like driving on wagon wheels.

Horrific! They replaced my radiator for $1200 a few months ago. The next day it overheated and had to be towed back to shop. Seems they did not properly install a hose. Now, the car radiator is bad again and the part seems to be faulty. They will honor warranty of part but want $600 for labor. I got an estimate at another mechanic today. $93 for labor, $300 for entire replacement there. This shop will not refund part cost or anything else. Do not.recommend!

We got a nail in our tire and went to this service station to see if they could help repair it. We had refilled the air in the tire twice since getting the nail as it deflated and had no issues with the air valve. When my husband took it to this service station they took the car then told us they could not fix the wheel because the air valve was broken. They had completely sheared off the metal at the valve somehow. They lied to us and claimed "it was like that when we got there" and that is not possible. Then they tried to sell us a car battery. We have never had a worse experience. I do not recommend anyone ever go here.

Need to get propane for a holiday party. Searched online and nothing was showing up close to my home. I came across the Royal Service Center, totally saved me! They have everything. If you’re in need of minor repairs or light refreshments they got you from Cokes and cookies to washer fluid and brake fluid. The staff is professional, helpful and very nice.
