If I could give zero stars, I would. Customer service is not a priority here. Brought my car in for an estimate, which in fact, they were going to get my business since I live right down the street. The lady at the front proceeded to explain that we have to wait the entire time while the car was getting the estimate and we could not leave. First off, people have jobs they have to attend to during the estimate, and two, if I don’t want to sit around for 2-3 hours, I shouldn’t have to. She would not allow the estimate to be conducted unless we stayed. If she wasn’t rude about it, I would have considered staying but we told her we will take our business somewhere else that cares. Again, her rude demeanor responded with, “K good, have a good day.” Management should really consider how business is conducted and the loss of customers and/or retention of good clients will ultimately impact their reputation. It’s unfortunate.

The body work looks good to my minor front bumper damage. However, after picking up my vehicle, I noticed an error message on the dashboard stating: “Active Brake Assist Functions Limited. See Operator’s Manual.” I subsequently took the vehicle to Mercedes, where I was informed that a wire had been disconnected when Koons removed the bumper to complete the bodywork repair. Further details: The issue appears to have resulted from the bumper removal performed during the bodywork repair. When removing and reinstalling a bumper on a Mercedes vehicle equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, it is essential that all sensors and wiring connections are properly reconnected and verified before the vehicle is returned. In this case, a wire was left disconnected, which triggered an error message indicating that the Active Brake Assist functions were limited. This suggests the vehicle was returned without a complete system check or adequate quality control after the repair. As a result, I had to take the vehicle to Mercedes for diagnosis, causing unnecessary inconvenience and raising concerns about the thoroughness of the post-repair inspection.

Best Service of the year! I want to give huge thanks to Koons, Especially Ryan Gamble. Ryan was very professional, upbeat and friendly from the day I dropped the car off to the day I picked it up. Ryan kept me informed the whole process and even gave me a call with the details of my repairs. He called because when I came to pick up my car, he was not informed or my arrival, so he made sure I was greatly informed. My Tesla 2022 MY hatch gate and bumper were replaced. Some minor scraping was also fixed. I now can't tell where the damage occurred and the paint matching is spot on. The shop took a little over 3 weeks before I could drop off my car, and the repair was completed within 4 days. The shop has a good arrangement with Enterprise for a shuttle and we also returned the rental to Koons, which was very convenient. The shop dealt directly with Erie Insurance and I am very satisfied with the whole process.

I could not be more pleased with the service and support I received from Koons Collision Repair Center. It started from the point I walked in the door not realizing I was supposed to leave the car that day. They worked with my insurance and got me a rental car reservation and gave me a bag for my personal items. Enterprise picked me up from Koons and it was started. Through the week they updated me often on issues and progress. Today I picked up my car. I just left the rental there. They have Enterprise pick up. Matt walked me through what they did as he showed me my car and I was off. As I was driving home I realized not only did they do all the work but cleaned my car too. I have never had this level of service from anyone. Definitely not a repair facility. I am truly pleased and appreciate their commitment to excellence.

I chose Koons Collision because of its proximity to my house and the fact that they are Tesla certified, even though they had a two week waiting period. Tony explained the entire process in detail, and everything went smoothly once I dropped off the car. Enterprise handled the rental pickup and drop off directly at the location, so I was never without a vehicle. The entire repair process only took four days. I was also very impressed to find that they cleaned my entire car. It was pretty gross from all the snow we had. Overall, it was a great experience.

Our automobile sustained about $11,500 in damage, with the majority of expense to the front undercarriage as it was a single car accident. I see many cars of the road wherein it is easy to see it was previously in an accident as the painting of the new part did not quite match the majority of the paintjob not sustaining any damage. That was the number ONE concern I had. I selected Koons Collision Center of Alexandria as I noted on their website, that they had a paint room dedicated to matching a cars paint. They did a perfect job of matching of matching the repaint to the rest of the original paint (silver) on our car. But there was also tremendous damage to the front undercarriage as my wife ran over something and a sign, then she backed over it again without thinking. The entire under carriage steering assembly required replacement. The mechanical, body, paint and production departments were all involved in the repair and the did an excellent job! But of note was their customer service representative, (LIONEL) who kept me updated thoroughly and regularly, about twice a week for the three weeks they had the car. I will go back to this service center from the rest of my driving life if I continue to live in this area. They are truly "Top Shelf" in all aspects of professionalism and follow-through, efficiency, customer service and with a "can-do" attitude. And they are true Ambassadors for KOONS Collision Center in Alaxandria, VA.

I recently wrecked my Tesla and needed to find a certified repair shop—there aren’t many in the area, and my original plan was to take it to Tesla. The closest Tesla service center was so far away that I decided to give Koons Auto Collision a try after reading their reviews. I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and incredibly efficient. My schedule was extremely busy, and there were times when it was hard for me to get in touch, but the team was unbelievably understanding and worked with me through every step of the process. They kept me informed throughout, and I never felt out of the loop. There were even issues with my insurance covering certain parts and damages—something I didn’t even know about until later—because Koons handled everything behind the scenes. They took care of the back-and-forth, the approvals, the delays… all of it. I didn’t have to stress about a thing. When I got my Tesla back, it looked brand new. You would never know it had been in an accident. Their quality of work is exceptional, and their professionalism is unmatched. The Tesla specialist who helped me out, Tommy Bouchard, was absolutely fantastic throughout this entire process. He was patient, honest, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. Koons Auto Collision made a stressful situation easy, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for collision repair. Highly recommend.
