Communication in the store needs to improve. I called and asked if they did walk-ins for oil changes and tire rotation. The receptionist said, "Yes, only during the work week." I show up 20 minutes later. I told them I'm doing a walk-in and an employee from behind the desk pointed me to the technician, Kevin. He said he can't fit me in today, and I'd need to schedule an appointment. If you can't manage walk-ins, don't offer walk-ins. What a waste of my time.

Extremely disappointed with the service. I brought my Toyota in for routine maintenance yesterday, and ever since picking it up, my phone no longer connects to the car — a function I rely on daily for safety and navigation. This issue only started after the service. When I returned today and explained how urgent this was, the staff dismissed my concern with zero urgency, telling me I have to wait until Monday — that’s three days without Bluetooth or hands-free functionality. This is not just inconvenient, it’s a serious safety issue, and the indifference I was met with is unacceptable. I expected better from a certified Toyota service center. If something breaks during service, you fix it — you don’t tell the customer to come back days later and act like it’s not your problem. I need this resolved immediately, not next week. Very disappointed.

They did not properly fit in the oil filter causing an oil leak. Refused to give a refund for initial oil change as they waisted my time and possibly damaging my car. Don’t recommend.

I brought my car in to Toyota Alexandria this morning for service, and I was told it would take one hour and that I could wait at the dealership. I decided to stay and wait, expecting the job to be done on time. However, after sitting there for an hour and a half with no updates, I went to check on the status of my car—only to be told they hadn’t even started working on it. There was no communication or courtesy update during my wait, and when I asked, they couldn’t even give me a clear estimate of how much longer it would take. This kind of disorganization and lack of follow-through completely threw off my schedule for the day. If I had known it would take this long—or that they weren’t even going to start on time—I would have made other arrangements. Very disappointed with how this visit was handled. Customers’ time should be respected, and better communication is the minimum I would expect from a professional service company Playing with people’s schedules just to make more money will not give you a good business result!

Warning: Stay away from this place — seriously. I have a 5-year tire warranty, and just because the repair is supposed to be free under that warranty, they’ve been making me wait for hours every single time. I’ve come here five times, and every time they either do nothing or delay on purpose. Meanwhile, people who came after me were helped and left — but I’m still stuck waiting. Why? Because my tire is under warranty and they don’t make money from it. This is pure manipulation. They lure customers in with “warranty coverage,” and then make the process miserable so you’ll give up or pay out of pocket. This isn’t poor service — this is a scam, plain and simple. They don’t care about the customer. There’s no respect, no responsibility, and absolutely no professionalism. All they do is waste your time, test your patience, and treat you like an inconvenience. This place isn’t about service — it’s about squeezing every dollar out of you unless they’re forced to honor a warranty. I strongly do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Coming here is a mistake you’ll regret — just like I do. (There is one employee in particular named Fatima Molina — she has absolutely no respect for customers or even for herself. I believe Toyota should immediately terminate her employment for the sake of their reputation and workplace environment. She talks like she’s on the street and does the exact opposite of what should be done with customers. I absolutely do not recommend dealing with her.)

Took 2008 Prius to get thumping noise coming from the back right tire looked at. Toyota said the technician drove the car and put it on the lift and could not hear the noise or visually see anything wrong, charged us $200 for their time, and sent us on our way. Immediately driving off the lot, we could hear the noise again. Got home and inspected the tire again and saw it was a bolt sticking out from the tire that the technician could not see or hear.

I visited Toyota Alexandria with my 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid due to rattling noises coming from both front doors and the right rear door, especially on bumpy roads or the highway. I requested that a technician or diagnostic specialist test drive the vehicle to confirm the issue. Unfortunately, the service advisor, Fatima Martinez, told me they “don’t want to waste the technician’s time,” and she attempted to test drive it herself instead. While I understand service advisors play an important role, diagnosing and test driving a vehicle for this kind of issue should be done by a trained technician. If something were to happen during the drive, who would be responsible? I left feeling very disappointed and disrespected. This is not the level of care or professionalism I expected from a Toyota dealership, especially for a brand new vehicle.

Because I drive a lot and I extend my car maintenance plan every time, today I told the advisor I checked the oil it was old and the color got black so I want to change the oil and tire rotation and also state inspection. He said okay I will note it also I asked him to wash the car. At 3:30 pm he said your car oil change is done it is with the state inspection team then I went to the parking lot and saw my car wasn't inspected the stamp was from last year and I came back he said your car is finishing now. I said it was in the parking lot without an inspection label…….. He called me your car is done you are good to go, I didn't believe that he was right, I checked the oil it was the old oil they hadn't changed it. I went inside and asked who his manager Tom sneaked But Mohmmad Jabir said what happened I asked why I was here today. Oil change right? He said yes we did the oil change. Tom came and said hold on I call for footage if we changed that you going to apologize for that I said if you haven't changed you have to apologize to me. The footage guy told him they didn't change, Tom’s face color changed like somebody caught him stealing. Mohammad Jabir took the car back to change the oil and you see everything in my footage is right. Be careful with the S people.

This review is for the Service Dept: I was traveling across the United States on a road trip when I had issues with the electronic tailgate malfunctioning on my Tundrap. I called the service department and spoke to Vera and explained my situation. She was able to sneak me in immediately and referred me to Thomas Ramey. The problem was fixed within an hour, my dog received a biscuit and I was on my way! I'm very grateful Thomas and Vera were able to take care of me on a very last-minute situation.

After being a customer for years, I will no longer return. On my last service visit before the holidays, they lied by stating I had a nail in my tire that couldn't be repaired and I'd need a new tire before taking any long drives (as many tend to do around the holidays). Luckily, I bought my tires at Costco. And after two hours with Costco Tire Service, I was told they could not find any nails in any of my tires. I've been driving on the same tires without issue since, over 1500 miles at this point. The attempt to scam me into spending unnecessary money for a service I didn't need had solidified my decision to find honest service elsewhere. I recommend others ask for visual proof when you go in for regular service and they insist you need additional work.

If you’re in a pinch like I was in and need new tires they are very quick (note, the tires are on the higher end). However, be aware that they will use scare tactics to upsell you. They will do an inspection (even if you don’t ask for one) and send you a quote saying you need to get thousands of dollars worth of things fixed urgently. If you ignore that you’ll be fine, just be aware.

First time here since car purchase. I took an evening appointment at 5:30 and the service interaction with the assigned service rep was awful. When I arrived it took a while before someone acknowledged me and another customer. Finally a gentleman walked up and asked me my appointment time and told me I would be helped soon and to wait on one of the service reps. I stood there and they just acted too busy to even look at anyone even. Finally someone gets off the phone and acknowledges us. I get asked for my number and told someone should reach me soon. About an hour later I get a text from Leonel Muñoz. I’ll include the screenshot. These texts were the most I got from him. When I receive a text letting me know the car was ready I approached Leonel and said hello and he glanced at me and looked back at his screen and asked for my last name, handed me the paperwork and told me to see the cashier. I was confused because I shouldn’t have a fee to pay but I figured it’s the routine. Once I get there I’m told my total and the cashier lets him know i don’t expect a payment and he says NOTHING AND takes the paper back and brings it back to him corrected. Absolutely no personability no customer service skills whatsoever. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the attendant who help retrieve the vehicle after service was extremely friendly and actually seemed like he cared about providing exceptional customer service.

This is my favorite place to get my car serviced. I usually have my work done by Christian Gutierrez, and he does a great job of walking me through what work needs to be done, what my options for it are, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. The last time I took it in, they ended up needing to order a part and Susan did a wonderful job of setting me up with a complimentary rental until the part arrived. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, and the wifi is good enough for me to work while I'm there. Everyone I've interacted with at the front has been friendly and professional. I'm glad I have a place I can trust for any and all of my car concerns
