Very rude customer service. They charged me $20 for a state inspection and claimed my brakes weren't good, even though I had just replaced the brakes and rotors before coming in. I drove to a different shop the same day and passed inspection with no problem. The only person who was nice was the cashier. Dishonest and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend Van Dorn Auto Service to anyone.

We began having trouble with our back brakes while on vacation from Indiana. Fearing couldn't make it home, we began researching local garages. We chose Van Dorn based on their Google Reviews and were not disappointed. We dropped our Highlander off at 9:00 am and the job was finished by 2:30 with four new sets of brakes, rotors, and pads. We had only intended to fix the back brakes but they gave us the option of doing the whole job, and the price was so fair that we opted to do it all at once. The owner/mechanics were friendly, fair, honest, and communicated well. They turned a vulnerable situation into a best case of a worst case scenario. Would highly recommend!!!

Sachi and the crew have been excellent throughout the years. They’ve helped out with yearly inspections, troubleshooting issues. Shout out to Junior (Gianmarco) for his excellent work R&R’ng all repairs on my vehicle. This last round - the custom hydroboost kit, rack and pinion, PS hoses, coilovers, shocks, end links, upper control arms. Many thanks for the alignment, with all the caster! Much fun driving experience. They’ve installed a built transmission, engine and transmission mounts, and transmission crossmember. Even helped replace wiper arms, and an oil change. Even helped fix a fuse blowing (dang if an LED bulb go bad and take too many amps!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So far so good… brought car in after check engine light came on and told a repair was needed that I had previously had completed at another shop twice! Van Dorn repaired it, and so far there hasn’t been a repeat of the problem…. Fortunately Van Dorn warrantees their work for 2 years and I’m grateful. Hopefully they put this problem to rest.

OMG!!! What can I say about this auto repair shop?!?! This business provides top-notch white glove services! I prefer to take my vehicle to the dealership, however, the service is not good and they’re always presenting me with a list of items my vehicle needs, but NOT Van Dorn Auto. They are very thorough and honest about what’s needed and what’s not Major. I am grateful for these honest and integral men!
