Excellent customer service experience at my local Land Rover Dealership. Came for service on my 2014 Range Rover, and had the pleasure of having Yujin Lee as my service advisor. Yujin took the time to hear my issues, and advise me on the way to proceed. After some additional items were pointed out that needed to be repaired/replaced I got my car back in a few days. Would advise anyone looking to purchase, lease or service a Land Rover or Jaguar to check out Land Rover Alexandria. You will not be disappointed.

Love my 2025 Defender, but service at this dealership is poor. I had some followup questions on my car and registration and multiple attempts to my sales associate and even the sales manager went unanswered. Will try to call down the list of the staff till someone responds. Not what you expect from a premium brand. I hear Bethesda dealership is a much better operation

I recently had an issue with my front passenger side tire on my wife’s 2026 Velar iin which we bought in August . I called the service department and had the pleasure of talking to the Service Advisor Melvin Rivas. I told him my concerns he took the time to listen to my concern and gave me an honest assessment on how we could resolve the issue. He informed me that he would try to put a claim for me and to bring my vehicle in. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and professionally by Melvin and he kept us informed every step of the way, explaining pricing and details of the repairs. After the claim was approved, not only was the repair done promptly, he also kept his word in keeping our repair cost at a very nominal price. The next day Melvin gave us a call to see how our vehicle was performing since the tire repair, now that’s exceptional customer service. I must say, my experience in dealing with Melvin Rivas was outstanding. from the moment I called him to the next day after the repair. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, transparency, honesty and general concern for our issue throughout the process. in, I was greeted warmly by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. What impressed me the most was the transparency and honesty exhibited throughout the process, also his exceptional and above and beyond service, expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction have earned my trust and loyalty.

On October 24th, I brought my vehicle to Land Rover Alexandria for scheduled service after reaching my mileage interval. I also brought two mail discount codes I had received—one expiring at the end of October and one in November. Each coupon clearly stated it could not be combined with other discounts or incentives, and the October one specified a maximum incentive of $250. My service representative, Melvin, insisted the maximum discount was only $200 and seemed skeptical when I showed him the printed offer. He said it would be applied at checkout, but the interaction left me uncertain about whether my coupon would be honored properly. When I returned the next day to pick up my vehicle, I was disappointed by the treatment I received at the cashier desk. The woman at the counter was dismissive and unprofessional, questioning whether my car was ready and informing me there was a 3% fee for using a credit card. I explained that I was paying with a debit card, yet the total still showed a surcharge. When I asked when it would come off, she curtly said, “When you pay, it will go off.” When I mentioned that she was being rude, she apologized but continued with an unfriendly tone—and even handed me the wrong keys. To make matters worse, while my car appeared to have been run through a car wash, it was not wiped down afterward—there were visible water spots and streaks on the windshield and windows, leaving it looking unfinished and careless. Overall, this visit was disappointing and unprofessional, lacking the courtesy, attention to detail, and hospitality expected from the Land Rover brand. I’ve received far better service at the Land Rover dealership in Minneapolis, where the staff were genuinely welcoming, helpful, and proactive in guiding me through maintenance recommendations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend visiting or purchasing from Land Rover Alexandria, as it fell far short of the high level of service I’ve come to expect from Land Rover dealerships.

First of all, I am a person who does not often write a review but I think this place deserves a long one from me. Allow me to tell you the story… Around this time last month, my Defender 130 had a coolant leak which was spotted by me as I opened the hood. I immediately contacted Mr Kevin Dooley who is a fantastic service advisor, also I believe this dealership should keep him for their entire life. Kevin scheduled for me to bring in the car in the next morning. Unfortunately, for other Land Rover dealership in the area, with this type of issues, it would take weeks to schedule. Trust me, I’ve been there. So the story continues…After the car has been sitting for one night, the car was diagnosed with leaking in the turbo coolant line. After one night, the job was done and everything was perfect. No more leak, thank goodness! Until 2 days later, I spotted several dents on my driver’s door, which I was certain did not cause by me. I then reached out to Kevin again then he immediately investigated into this issue. He then acknowledged that it was an incident that was causing by one of his employees while they were working with my car and therefore I brought my car in again the following week. When I dropped off my car to repair the dents, I saw on the Remote App that it was then brought into a very reputable collision shop at Falls Church by the team at this dealer even though it was a very minor scratch. While, it was at the collision center, I noticed there was a check engine light on which sparked my concerns and then I informed Kevin about the situation. What happened was Kevin then took the car right into the shop when the car was back from the collision center. The check engine caused by simply because the temperature sensors failed according to Kevinms tech. When I received the car after 2 weeks regarding all of those issues, all I have to say is I have nothing other than very impressed with the way Kevin and the whole team of JLR Alexandria operate. I just cannot believe how beautiful the car looks right now because apparently there were no dents and also the check engine lights have gone completely because they ordered the right parts that needed to be ordered. What I see from Kevin and the entire team in this place are full of responsibility and they deserve a 10 stars if I could give them. They are willing to stand up and take responsibility and I can assure you, if you are in other dealership, you have to bring yourself to court to fight for justice. But here, it is a different story. People who work here, they are full of ethics and deserves a respect definitely from me. Even from Fawad, who is also a fantastic salesperson which I bought the car ages ago still remember me everytime I went in there for service and also their bartenders are outstanding. Their drinks are better than other local cafes in the area guys. This is just personal opinion. However, I sincerely hope that you guys will still keep up with the service and honestly it is the best car dealership in the DMV area. Once again, thank you for everything including three amazing loaners just in two weeks. I will come back here for future services and they deserve a postive recommendation to all of my friends and families!

Buyer beware — one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve had. Purchased a Tesla Model Y from Range Rover Alexandria after trading in my car. They matched my CarMax trade and took $1,200 off, which in hindsight feels like bait to push through a bad sale. I insisted on a We Owe agreement stating they would fix anything needed to pass Maryland state inspection. That turned out to be necessary because the car FAILED inspection immediately for suspension issues, with a repair estimate of around $2,000. This tells me the vehicle was never properly inspected before being sold. The sales process was a disaster. The salesman, KZ, AND The sales manager Mo were both consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and the salesman actually left before the deal was finalized. To make matters worse, the car was not even detailed at pickup — completely unacceptable for a so-called luxury dealership. This dealership does not stand behind the vehicles it sells, and the staff clearly doesn’t care once they think the sale is done. I’m currently waiting to see whether they honor the We Owe agreement and fix the car or take it back, but as of now this has been a terrible, stressful experience. If you value transparency, professionalism, or basic vehicle inspection — shop elsewhere. Update - General Sales Manager, Kenny reversed the deal and promised to speak with his employees regarding the type of service I received from KZ and Mo. Kenny is a good representation of Land Rover Alexandria and what their true values are. He took care of me and reversed the deal. Much appreciated While a favorable outcome was received, I will be leaving this review up so that nobody else has to experience the shenanigans by KZ and Mo.

2025 Land Rover Range Rover Hybrid Ongoing Electrical and Drivability Issues. The ongoing issues with my 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Hybrid, which has experienced repeated and unresolved mechanical and electrical problems since purchase. The car completely shut down earlier this year and was at the service center for one month while the electric converter was replaced. After the repair, the vehicle would not start, requiring it to remain in the shop for another two weeks. When the car was finally returned, I was told the brakes were replaced due to noise. Bug issu, I discovered that the vehicle will not operate in EV mode, and it also cannot drive in gas-only mode — it runs only in Hybrid mode. I have taken the car back to the service center more than four times 4 month for the same issue. During one visit, the technical lead drove with me and confirmed the same problem, stating again that the converter was the cause he have told me. Despite this, the car still does not drive in EV mode. The service department has told me that this is “normal,” but it is clearly not acceptable for a hybrid vehicle that cannot operate in either full EV or gas modes. On one occasion, the car even stopped in the middle of the road while driving, creating a serious safety hazard. This vehicle has only 5,000 miles on it, and the ongoing issues indicate a major defect that has not been properly resolved. I am very disappointed all with their services and not able to fix car. Part 2 After purchasing the new vehicle, I was promised that several things would be completed the next day after pickup. However, despite repeated follow-ups with the loan officer, Mr. Bash Abbasi, I received no assistance for over three months. It took that long just to receive my license plates. Additionally, when I later saw Mr. Abbasi at the dealership, he walked away and gave me a disrespectful look, which I found unprofessional and unacceptable, especially after the lack of support I experienced during the entire process.

We definitely had the worst experience with this dealership. We were trying to buy a pre owned Porsche from Beyer Kia in falls church but was told the car was moved to Land Rover Alexandria. The price showed the same on their website. So my husband took time off and drove all the way to Alexandria but was told the price went up by 7k and no one could explain why. After my husband left they called and said they were sorry about the price and can make it close to the previous price but still more expensive. Because we really like the car so we took the deal. Then they told us they could do a better trade in price for my car than Carmax but they just matched the Carmax price. However they couldn’t do trade in and said they will mail us a check. After two weeks, we still haven’t received the check for the trade in car and no communication from them. We only have frustration and disappointment with this dealership. Just save your time and don’t ever do business with them. Sell your car at Carmax to get the check right away.

Outstanding service from Alexandria! I had a failure that prevented me from driving and they were able to squeeze me in for a repair. They drove to another shop just to get the correct parts. I really want to recognize Mr. Tom Rose, one of the service advisors in Alexandria. He was able to use my warranty and quickly get the service team to diagnose the problem. He and the stellar service team went above and beyond to get me back on the road, knowing my unique circumstances. This is the only dealership to use, don’t even think about Chantilly. The service there is horrible. Land Rover Alexandria is the only place I’ll take my vehicle. For anyone interested, the new Range Rover SV is on the floor and it looks amazing!
